Let me do a quick explanation on each of the Financial asset above


Cac 40 is the indices for the top 40 most capitalize stocks in the French bourse.
Dax is the 30 most capitalize stocks in Germany,in the Frankfurt stock exchange.That is what BOM call German indices but the standard name in the market is Xetra dax.
Us 30 is the dow jones industrial average
and so on and so forth

If you check the list you will see that the s^p is just 0.5 pips.With that you can scalp.so it means the hurdle you have to cross is just 0.5 pips

@pappy. Am not sure I still get whats up with that hotforex. I checked out the site and they seem like a conventional forex broker and not a fixed odd broker like BOM. Are we still talking fixed odd trading here or you are talking about forex?

You're very correct. I've been on vacation for some days and I've not been trading. I got the news about the UK's Unemployment decrease this morning so I signed on my BOM account. Ofcourse, I had the intention of placing a trade that The UK Index would rise in 1hr. I dont know what happened or what came over me, I mistakenly clicked FALL. I felt very bad. But checking my portfolio now, I realise I won.

Over the years, the European markets have been the worst markets to trade with when news is released. They are rigid and "undeciding". Another complication that is involved with Europe is the in-between news that nullifies the ultimate news. Like the sales of Mercedes, the earnings of BMW and losses of Airbus. All these news spoil the show for the real big news. Thats why I would rather say techy thumps fundy anyday. Candlesticks show the real picture of what happens in the market. While news are just facts which may and may not decide price actions.
