past and fellow corp members, i will like to know how compulsory it is to attend one's CDS. my CDS is road safety but am yet to register there due to cost of living in abuja (transport etc). fortunately for me my performance report is usually submitted at my nysc zonal office and not at my cds, which has allowed me to get my monthly allawee. i just need to know if absence from cds could prolong one's service year. tanks for ur response.
