Nice research there but i'll at the same time urge the personnel involved to try as must as possible and let their set goals be achieved not minding the result gotten from the test run. Off all the military formations,i think the NAF ve bn trying their best technologically. more kUDOS to come on completion of the AMÈBÓ gadget

Please spear me the lectures...its already out there so why spend money on research and manpower when u can just buy it outright. Naija's I tire for una o!

Let me ask you something. So if the FG tells u know that they have developed a fully nigerin made plane, will u fly it.

Good

♍♈ guy why do Ɣ☺Ʊ so much believe in buying?
Why not learn ƗƗ♡w to make same thing that Ɣ☺Ʊ want to buy if Ɣ☺Ʊ can? wink

China did what we are doing today about 20yrs ago? undecided Ɣε̲̣̣̣̥§ we are spending huge amount on things we
Can just order from τ̲̣̣̥н̣̣̣̝̇̇̇ε̲̣̣̣̥ US or Russia bt I tell Ɣ☺Ʊ τ̲̣̣̥н̣̣̣̝̇̇̇i§̤̥̈̊, developing our own will take us ∂ long way.

*I know that Ɣ☺Ʊ don't trust our leaders based on their track records* grin

He said NAF is "developing" d device. U dont need to b a prophet to know what's to follow - in 2-3 year's time they will claim lack of fund stalled d project. Or a fire destroys d place if a huge budget allocation had disappeared in d name of d project.

First Amebo I 2010.... So I guess the Amebo III of 2012 would be much better and sophisticated than the 1st one in this picture.

Enlightened1: Is it bomb detonating or bomb defusing Robot?? Confused here. Anyways, good news coming from the Military guys. Keep up the good job!!
WHY REPEATING THIS QUESTION OVER AND OVER AGAIN? THEY SAY ITS BOMB DETONATING ROBOT, SO TAKE IT THAT WAY.
Re: Nigerian Air Force Bomb-Detonating Robot, Tracking Device by misterh(m): 8:33am On Jul 24, 2012
Though the msg has been passed, i think the moderator needs to edit the title. Detonate means to blow up while defuse means to deactivate the bomb.

So they've had an Amebo since 2010 and it still has not been put to good use even with all the opportunities presented. Moreover, this bomb defusing robot and even the unmanned aerial vehicle have been developed in other countries way back. Methinks they are simply assembling the ish.

We need to start from some were, the fact that we are far behind, doesn't mean we should keep importing technologies into the country. This is a start, consistency is what matters

If white men come to Nigeria to take cocoa to their country to produce chocolate and then imported back to Nigeria, we will say it is made in foreign land undecided

But whenever ∂ Nigeria coy import materials from abroad to make something here we still call it imported. Na wah o! sad

Errr, if a white man buys cocoa and sells chocolate to us, its imported. If we buy parts abroad and assemble here, its still imported na! Besides, any RC toy could detonate a bomb, diffusing should be the aim na?

He even said that the project started few years back as part of transformation agenda of the President while the so-called transformation agenda started last year when GEJ was elected and sworn in.
