There is palpable fear, anger and anguish in a village in Imo state over the gruesome murder of a 17 yr old boy over suspicion of car theft. The little boy was falsely accused of participating in a car theft and subsequently taken away by soldiers. After they discovered that he was innocent, they released him but the damage had already being done as the boy died 2 days later from injuries both internal and external sustained from the beatings.
Honestly, the family needs justice and urgent redress.
The excesssiveness of security operatives can no longer be tolerated again.
