The Federal Government on Monday inaugurated another Passport office in Alimosho, Lagos, as part of its strategy to make passport administration seamless for Nigerians. A statement issued in Abuja by Mr Sola Fasure, Media Adviser to Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola, said the minister inaugurated the office.

Aregbesola said the aim was to ease the increasing pressure on the three existing Passport Control Offices in Lagos State.

“We are also committed to expanding our passport issuance operations to bridge the gaps we face usually in urban centres like Lagos,” The minister of interior added. He said that NIS was working hard and raising its capacity to cope with the high demand for passports in the country.

If you're familiar with the collection process at these offices, you will know that the first step for hopeful passport collectors is to submit their capturing slips, which are then used to track the readiness or otherwise of their passports.
Yesterday, many whose Pali weren't ready had their capturing slips returned with all sorts of abbreviations on them; but those whose passports came out didn't get theirs back. We were instructed to register the passport details immediately, providing our names, passport number and phone number.
After that, everyone just left, not caring about the return of their capturing slips.

Yes, I'm surprised that paying my way up' actually works . I paid 60k - an amount I thought I'd wasted until my connect called last night . Reason being, everyone on here and their dog had been hammering so much on the hoax that 'fast-tracking' was a scam that I actually believed it. Comprehend? I have never ever demanded a penny from anyone here. I don't even know anybody. So you can rest with your filthy suspicions.

I hope they won't look at my capturing date on my slip and with the quickness kick me out tomorrow.
I mean in Festac, registruants wait at least two months or three before getting their pali. Why is mine different?

Captured 2nd June 2022, pick up January 25th 2023.
Fully DIY. Paid 17k. They collected 4k for some unknown administrative charge at the passport office. Total paid 21k.

I just discovered that my innocent looking assistant perpetrated a massive fraud of #3,860,000 under my watch from the month of May - December 2022.

My new hospital Administrator called me for a private meeting to inform me that I am under remitting and she wouldn't want to work with me anymore. I requested to see her book and I was lost in awe when I saw what was being recorded for my unit as remitted revenue.

I got angry and left to get my book which we compared to the administrators book and discovered that there were some months that this lady didnt remit a penny and when she remits for some months she would remit only about 20-30% of the amount we generated.

I went back to my office after comparing my books with that of the administrators with a promise to arrange receipts and other books for her to see. The administrator apologized to me for her thoughts towards me.

As soon as I got to my office I gave the books to my assistant and told her to arrange all our receipts and keep it on my table. This lady went home with all the books and didnt drop them as instructed.

I resumed work on Monday and she brought the book with incomplete receipts. This lady didnt remit a dime from the month of August to December. She was issuing a forged receipt and putting same in the books for me for monthly checks.

I generated about #5,362,000 and this lady only remitted 1,123,000 and the rest were paid through bank transfers which I am not sure if they were really paid.

Till this moment I can't believe that this lady could pull such heartless and wicked heist.

She has been begging me to help her die the case as it was because of family issue that made her do such.

I have made up my mind that I won't work with her again and its left for the Hospital management to find how to get their money from her.
