Mickey7: sed it! Tracy is frm warri ...didi shocked what are u doing here
Who b Didi?

Anuoluwap: Will y'all for once learn how to appreciate others? What's the meaning of, "she doesn't sound like eng/lit graduate."
If she doesn't sound like one then how does she sound? Like a novice in english? Or you want her to start speaking as if she came from England cause she's holding a certificate? Why do you guys can't just ignore her way of speaking or her tongue and get along since she doesn't speak blunders.
Sincerely speaking, I see no issue in her way of speaking she's definately good and sounds ok.
I have no problem with how she speaks. I was just stating my opinion which is no way bashing her person or her degree.

Tracy sounds like she is from Bendel. I don't know if Benin or Delta but one of them ,and yes she doesn't sound like an eng/lit graduate.

Blokyll: I usually don't comment on NL but you are doing a fantastic job. I went with ABC through Cotonou, Lome and Accra in 2011&it was great fun. A great, cheap adventure (because the Naira has more value than the CFA, except in Ghana). Also stopped at your school in Lome. Quite agree with you that Nigeria has the least number of free roaming Westerners~I marvelled at the huge number of them in Lome.
Well done. Your adventures will stay with you for a long time. Now, you make me wish I'd included the other francophone countries in my own journey. I wish Nigerians would travel more~it's a fabulous way to broaden one's horizon.
Welcome back!

Although I was very very high (Smirnoff Vodka in the system grin grin), I still managed to recognize her..

We are still together after 4 years

moreeni: I had just pulled the plug on a relationship that was on life support for too long and needed a fresh start. I put myself out there and got a call from many but got hooked by a particular voice. He has the nicest voice ever(totally big on voice)

After a lot of phone calls, I fell inlove with him and put a face in my mind to the voice. Fast forward a few days later(couldn't wait any longer) we decided to meet. Whew! He had prepared me as much as he could about his look( tall, dark and solid) me him( very slim, tall and dark)

Alas, I sat for close to an hour waiting for him to show up which had already given me a bad impression about him. Then a certain tall big guy dressed in very faded numbers walked in and ask if I were "her", another strike. See me smiling kindly and getting the gentle delete phrases ready in my head. We got talking and the voice kept me captivated until I started thinking about the "toosh my bf up options". Yeah, decided that a wardrobe change is the only thing he needs after we cleared the air on punctuality...I'm so glad that I was wise enough to see beyond the cloths as my baby is sooo handsome and coveted.

By the way, I wanted a kiss by the time the date was over...
I enjoyed reading your story. God Bless You.

goldfish80: This experience is not directly mine, but I played an active role in it... Here it goes:

Some years back (2005 or thereof), My closest pally hooked a girl from yahoo messanger chatroom, things got off well for them, they exchanged number, shared pics, sex chatting bla bla bla...but they never got involved on webcam chats,* i think*. Well days became weeks and before I could say "knife" they have already setup a meet.I asked him(James) to calm down and chill for awhile but he he didn't listen,he was in lust/love *whatever*.

Finally the D-day came, the lady was meant to travel from Benin/Warri *memory foggy* to Enugu. She finally arrived around 7pm and told James she was at the park. James chattered a cab and off we went to pick her. On getting to the motor park he called her and asked her to get down from the bus,but she insisted he came to the bus(she was the only remaining passenger sitting n the bus),he boldly walked to the bus,I followed suit and behold, she was on 2 crutches! All i could hear James mutter was "you could have told me it was like this na",I stood in awe. shocked He lied to her that he wants to get airtime and immediately tapped me to follow him.

Well needless to say we didn't come back. About 2hrs later My friend got a call from a strange number. The lady introduced herself as a recharge card seller and begged My friend to send her 1500 mtn recharge voucher so she could be able to get accomodation for the lady to spend the night.I pressured him to send 2 vouchers of 1500 each, he did. I really felt bad and empathy on the poor girl, but I was a bit helpless.
Ah! She should have said something about that part. Such surprises are not good.

wasak: my 1st blind date occurred last month. to be honest ASUU strike pushed me into it. I was just too idle and was left with internet as my only friend. it happened that I met this girl thru wechat... she was just too Interested in me.she kept showing me greenlight until I asked her out. she agreed immediately and started pestering me to hookup with her. her voice almost killed me.she has such a lovely voice. she was always disturbing my phone with calls and calls. myself on. the other hand was happy I already hit jackpot. i was at a busstop waiting for her, she alighted from a bike and called me.i said a quick prayer in my mind hoping shes not d charcoal - dark girl wit a hunch back.... alas she was d. 1 and she I walked upto her. she told me she never knew I was 'oyinbo '
....mehn I could hardly breath,I felt like vomiting and purging @ d Same time. I told ha my dad was waiting for me @ home to bring d key. we bade each other byes. immediately I got. home I jumped on my bed and slept d disappointment away. I woke up to meet several missed calls from ha nd messages... can u imagine? she was asking if o don't like ha appearance. I simply deleted d wechat application on my phone and ignored all her calls from dat day on.I'm sad I might av broken her heart, but the fact is even her knows we are no match..... ASUU I blame u for all this
Hahaha you are quite hilarious....lol.... grin grin grin

WildChild00: To my own understanding, the Central Bank of Nigeria, is trying to use these measures to stabilize the nations economy, buy way of making it compulsory for every one who wants to collect Wu to collect it in naira, I think this is a welcome development, and it will help to strengthen the nations economy.
