I heard Nani might be loaned back to Lisbon for a year.Anderson will join immediately. He is the better prospect of the 2 .With the cost of the 3 transfer(estimated at £52million),I don't think we can sign a striker again.Certainly not a very costly one in the mould of Berbatov. I wonder how they will fit all the players into the team.Someone suggested that Ronaldo might be pushed forward to play as a striker with Rooney. Its certain that Hargreaves and Carrick will be starters .What about Scholes,Giggs and Anderson? Perhaps Giggs will be relegated to the bench with Anderson,Scholes,Carrick and Hargreaves starting leaving Rooney and Ronaldo in attack.
Kai d money too much oh.Its nt a bad idea though. If we dnt sign a striker we wld have young Rossi,Smith,Saha and Ole to partner Rooney.I think we are fine in that department though.Rossi is on fire i think he will show us what he is made of when he gets back. |
I second Who go pay d levy?Which kain thing b dis sef? |
Wizard |
lol |
To what |
Welcome to the next gr8 batch of red devils!!!! From what I've heard, nani is largely gonna be Giggsys understudy for the first season, learning from the best! And once the gr8 one hangs his boots up, he will take over right where the maestro left off!!! And needless to say, Anderson is also gonna get his lessons from one of the very best in his position, scholesyyyyy!! WHAT A DAY FOR UNITED!!! |
Imagine a midfield of Scholes,Giggs,Ronaldo,Hargreaves,Carrick,Nani,Anderson and the best of the lot-Park Ji "hide your dogs" Sunga bit racist,I know but I have Korean relatives No wonder Giggs announced his retirement from international football. With the prospect of increased competition,he wants to focus on Utd.We should get rid of Richardson.Sell him to the Gunners
Yes oh.Na wonders.I think Richardson is good though. He only needs time maybe.Kai SAF get plenty tricks oh.LOL Our benefit |
30/05/2007 12:12, Report by Ben HibbsGiggs confirms Wales retirementRyan Giggs has confirmed he will retire from international football after Saturday's Euro 2008 qualifier against the Czech Republic. The 33-year-old Welsh skipper will sign off with 64 caps, 16 years after making his international debut against Germany in Nuremburg at the age of 17 years and 322 days. "Saturday will be my last game for my country," he said at a press conference in Cardiff. "I feel this is a good time to retire and it's a difficult decision for me. I've loved playing for my country and I've loved captaining my country. But I think it's the right time to do this. It wasn't an easy decision for me." Giggs says that the decision was his alone and was not influenced by United boss Sir Alex Ferguson or Wales manager John Toshack. "He (Sir Alex) just said 'whatever you decide, I'll stand by your decision'," said Giggs. "The manager was never going to suggest that I shouldn't play for my country. That's not what he does. I've made the decision and he'll stand by. "John [Toshack] said that he half expected it. He didn't try to change my mind, he just wished me luck. I've really enjoyed playing under John the past few years. He's brought through young players and I've seen at club level what that can do for you, it gives you a lift. That has definitely been the case with Wales. The Football Association of Wales said on its website: "The FAW would like to place on record their gratitude for the 16 years of service that Ryan has give to his country. In that time he has upheld the highest principals of fair play during an exemplary career for Wales." |
I will put this development down to the influence of Carlos Queiroz. The surprise,is the Brazilian-Anderson-for there was no rumor linking him to Utd I do have my reservations towards signing a Brazilian to play in the Premiership. Most times it doesn't work but there have been a few succeses like Juninho(1st time at Boro)trying real hard to remember very succesful Brazilians in the Premiership Great signing though, hopefully he will be a great success. Our enemies are probably gnashing their teeth right now
I saw him play.Am interesting talent indeed |
Wonderful signing indeed. We go for talents not names. When is Owen coming oh? I dey fear oh |
