I will do the same. He's just being a gracious host guys.

How old is the bride? The write-up didn't say. If she is preparing for waec, she is probably less than 18.

Yes, marriage can be awesome if you're lucky to do it with your absolute person.
Happy 60th Birthday to your Dad and many many more years of marital bliss to your parents.

I actually read Jonn Longenus and then i saw his picture 🙂

At the end of the day...if justice isn't served, Karma always steps up.

The man spoke his truth, and to be honest almost all political office holders will do the same. That said, whatever happened to 'Separation of Powers?' It is a core principle of democratic systems of government. This dispensation obviously didn't get the memo.

Everything you intend to do as a politician should not be voiced.

Whatever happened to Covenant University? It always made the list

Return the stolen money and ask God for forgiveness.

If your conscience still troubles you, give 10% of your winnings to the church and some to the needy.

This matter should be thoroughly investigated. Many of these airline staff indulge in sharp practices. Also, politicians are too power hungry and dishonest to be trusted.

Hmm. Which parable? He spoke plainly. If they want to manipulate the votes, count the numbers of people that voted.

I don't relate.

We had all the freedom in the world, as long as we were done with our chores.
My parents were sweet, they hardly flogged.
When they did, you'd know you deserved it.

Awesome childhood.💯

Same here. I had an amazing childhood. Occasional smacks and punishment when we were naughty. A lot of talks and admonishments. I don't remember us being beaten with sticks or any item and we all turned out to be very well-behaved and responsible adults.

This is very heartwarming and it goes to prove that humans are intrinsically the same and we can coexist peacefully.

Little wonder, I've been trapped indoors since morning.

Please what's going on with nairaland. Which one is not enough original content? Looks like Mynd's handiwork to checkmate space-bookers 😂

Mind you mynd, some of us are witty enough to make our points with less than 20 characters.

This crop of Nigerian leaders are the most unserious I have seen in my entire life.

It's not like there's anything wrong with prayers, but a student for instance, cannot cut classes, ignore assignments, fail to study and then go into the exam hall with prayers and fasting.

Haa! Bi iku ile o ba pani, t'ode o le pani.

Who remembers the Garri Invaders of nairaland?

My favourite monikers back then were Bvgari
& GarriNeville.

Garri is a Hausa word used to denote food in granulated form:
Garin doya- Yam flour
Garin Masara- Corn flour etc.

Eba is the Yoruba word for garri in paste/dough form after turning it in boiled water to achieve the right consistency.

The most common Igbo word for eba is gari.
'Achorom iri gari' it's mostly the igbos that are living or have lived outside the south-east that call it eba.

We don't thank God enough for the families we were born into.

Just in case we have forgotten.

Until people are held accountable for their actions and inactions, things like this will continue to happen.

Everywhere you look; mediocrity, fake products, poor service delivery etc. Standardization and quality control are almost non-existent.

The company, the contractor, the government officials that gave approval and every body in the entire supply chain that contributed to erecting that board have questions to answer.

RIP to the deceased but we need to do better.
