Now would you rather spend 1k to make 500 impact or spend 5k to make 15k impact?It's accountability that matters which is our fear, understandably. Let's be positive not every move should be condemned before it is even set in motion. Creating more ministries should been seen as more development not more expenses. For example work, housing and power ought to be 3 ministries, while vio ,frsc and police nscdc can be merged as one because dey duplicate responsibilities.

It is not about us importing. It is about importation dropping significantly and the fact that the fuel cannot be smuggled out again once they are brought in. If you are an importer and you bring fuel, you are likely to lose money. Hope you understand it now.

I will say around 10 years.

After the initial shock of a change in the price level of petrol, future changes will happen at a slower rate so living standards will adjust better. In the meantime, the money used in subsidizing petrol will be put to better use even if some of it is embezzled which happens with subsidy money anyway.

I would have preferred that the removal is done gradually to mitigate the impact on Nigerians but better it be removed than not all.

Firstly, I seriously doubt that your claim of being a 'muslim' from the South. Any right thinking Muslim (from any part of the Equator) will condemn Davido's infantile post in totality. We have said it severally that nobody should catch cruise or chase clout with our religion. It's a sign of disrespect and we will not tolerate it in any form.

Besides, Davido only deleted the tweet but didn't issue an apology. How childish, puerile and disrespectful of him. One of the recipe for conflict in any society is the lack of respect for other people's faith. Davido really messed up! He needs to apologize publicly.

I understand your point, but my issues is, why are they lashing out on Davido like he made the video? Davido is not a Muslim to know what's cool with Islam or not. The owner of the video is a Muslim and ought to know what's good or bad about his religion. Is Davido even in the video? Now, I am tempted to go download or watch the video cos of this matter. Before now, I thought the most sacred thing that shouldn't be tampered with in Islam is the Holy Quran, next thing we will hear is a school boy who is not a Muslim is beheaded for mistakenly using a kettle belonging to a Muslim student to wash his face. I was in Ghana two months ago. Believe me when I say that you would fare better economically in Nigeria than in Ghana. Is Nigeria as wealthy as the UK, US, and the EU? I disagree to a point, Tinubu has the will to appoint good ministers, what he doesn't have is the character. A person with questionable and compromised character will always appoint someone of same ilk and nature. An armed robber who is in the position of power will always appoint someone in his likeness. Who do you think a convicted drug lord would appoint.
What we agree though is that whomever the drug lord appoints, its guaranteed that they won't have the interest of Nigerians at heart.
