Karlovich: You all were asked which FIFA rule did DR Congo break and you were mentioning their constitution, clown
Nigeria must go to the world cup, have faith You seem to be under every posts defending DR Congo like you’re part of their legal team. If the matter was as clear as you’re pretending, why didn’t FIFA dismiss the petition immediately? The fact that the case is being reviewed already tells you it’s not as straightforward as you’re trying to make it look. Instead of acting like the self-appointed FIFA president on Nairaland, relax and wait for the official verdict. FIFA will decide whether the petition by the NFF has merit or not and not you, not your opinions, and definitely not your negative imagination. The way this issue is giving you sleepless nights is actually amusing. Playoffs or no playoffs, the verdict will come eventually. Until then, all this noise you’re making won’t change anything. At this point, you might as well relocate to DR Congo since you seem more emotionally invested in defending them. Let FIFA do its job and stop behaving like you personally wrote both the FIFA statutes and the DR Congo constitution. |
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by AAA593: 9:34am On Mar 07 |
Just because the NFF failed to qualify Nigeria for the World Cup does not mean it should become a lifelong issue for you, to the point where you keep hoping and praying that the case before FIFA will fail.
Constantly downgrading the case before FIFA and even going as far as accusing the NFF lawyers of using ChatGPT to file an eligibility case against DR Congo players is a clear sign of disrespect to the NFF and the entire Nigerian football community.
You were not there when the case was filed, yet you chose to mock something you clearly know nothing about when it was filed, how it was filed, or how it will eventually end. FIFA certainly will not be writing to you personally about the verdict.
It is also interesting how you disappear when there is no news, but immediately come out to mock the NFF, Nigerian football, and our World Cup aspirations whenever a questionable or fake media report surfaces.
How can you confidently accuse the NFF of using ChatGPT to file an eligibility case against DR Congo. Na who do you self? |

Damioduso1: 🚨Nigeria’s chances of reaching the 2026 FIFA World Cup are still alive, according to Chairman of the National Sports Commission (NSC), Mallam Shehu Dikko.
🧛Dikko🎙️: “As far as we know, FIFA is yet to give its verdict.
“We are monitoring the situation closely. The fact that DR Congo appears among the six nations to compete for the final two spots in the playoff is not enough to jump to the conclusion that FIFA has thrown out Nigeria’s petition. Some nations are also preparing for friendly matches. Things will change as soon as the FIFA verdict comes out.
"The FIFA we all know has a channel to pass such sensitive information across to the parties involved. The name of DR Congo appears on the fixtures for now because the matter brought before FIFA has not been decided. We are very hopeful that Nigeria will win the eligibility case, and the Super Eagles will proceed to play in the playoff, and possibly make the World Cup party. I want all Nigerians to remain calm, and wait for the final verdict."
🤔 Does Nigeria really stand a chance or is this more false hope? 🤔 Some people dey this thread dey pray make Nigeria no win case so dat Dem go fit get voice. |

Karlovich: Now with the insults and emotional rantings.
Is being hardworking prohibited in the part of Nigeria you come from?
Is this the way people that excel go through life, Nigeria football has been on a steady decline for the last 5-8 years and this is end result, abracadabra and court
The SE have failed to qualify for 2 consecutive WC tournaments, the U-23 no longer get to the Olympics, u20 and u17s are a sham yet rather than look inwards you chose to blame others.
If that doesn't make me patriotic then so be it, keep supporting foolishness PLEASE IGNORE THIS GUY. |
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by AAA593: 4:38pm On Mar 05 |
Karlovich: Exactly, continue hoping and dreaming. FIFA will announce the verdict March 31st. This is from exclusive source.
Malaysia was banned by FIFA so DR Congo will be banned
Suriname is in the playoffs too and FIFA is working on banning both DR Congo and Suriname since they both don't allow dual nationality, Suriname has Dutch players.
Nigeria will be at the 2026 WC, keeping hoping and dreaming. You have come out from your hole again. First of all, there is absolutely nothing wrong with Nigeria writing to FIFA to seek clarification on the eligibility of players. That is a legitimate right available to every football federation under FIFA regulations. If there are questions about eligibility, any serious federation will raise them. That is how international football governance works. Secondly, a sane and responsible Nigerian should always stand with his country, especially in matters of national representation like football. You may criticize administration or performance, but actively hoping for your own country to fail or mocking legitimate steps taken by your federation is simply unpatriotic. Instead of looking for ways to ridicule Nigeria or celebrate potential setbacks, it would be far more sensible to support the country and allow the proper authorities to handle the matter through the appropriate channels. Football disputes are resolved by rules, evidence, and due process not by speculation, rumours, or “exclusive sources” on social media. So rather than spreading unverified claims and acting like Nigeria has no right to defend its position, try showing a little respect for the country you come from. |

TheCongo2: Finally, someone who gets it—the world doesn’t revolve around Nigeria, and FIFA verdicts aren’t fairy tales. Preparing for friendlies instead of living on hope sounds a lot more realistic than arguing online about ‘deserved’ spots. Whether Nigeria was expecting a verdict on the Congo case or not, friendly matches were always going to happen. Every national team does it. Those that have already qualified for the World Cup and even those that didn’t qualify at all are still arranging friendlies to stay competitive. So preparing matches isn’t some sign of “living on hope,” it’s basic football planning. And let’s be honest, if the situation didn’t matter, Congo wouldn’t be losing sleep over it either. How Nigeria chooses to organize its friendlies is not your BUSINESS and doesn't mean the case is not there. International friendlies are a normal part of football development for every country, period. |
