Business / Re: How Did U Get Ur Orders From Aliexpress by aadetoyin(f): 10:59am On Aug 27, 2020
If you placed your order during the lockdown it might take a while. Some things that I ordered in March just arrived last week while some that I ordered this month arrived yesterday so it can be annoying. What you should do is ask the seller to extend your purchase protection period but if that lapses again and you don't get your item them u can open a dispute.

Also I hope the contact number is correct as that would be the means of communication btwn you and the post office. Another thing you can do is go to your nearest post office with the tracking number.

Health / Re: Anyone Trying IVF/IUI/ICSI (Fertility Treatments)? by aadetoyin(f): 8:08am On Nov 14, 2017
EUREKA2017:
The Breakthrough.

After waiting for some time with no conception and the option of travelling back to India not feasible, we started thinking about a good hospital to go in Lagos. I was at work 1 day, during my break, i browsed the internet and came about a website called The Fertile Chick. i clicked on it and lo and behold, there was a story that did analysis on all major IVF centres in Nigeria. I checked the contents and asked my hubby to check as well. she settled for The Alpha Assisted Reproductive Klinic (The ARK in Dolphin, Lagos).

Ambience was superb, Staff were courteos, The Ark centers their treatment around GOD and power to do the impossible. Awesome Miracles abound in their books and lots of paintings and inscriptions on wall says a lot abt this. She felt at home there and concluded in her mind from day 1 not to complain about anything but just say YES to whatever the DR says), Treatment was not CHEAP (compared to others), Latest innovations and technology are present in their modus operandi. In short, they are FANTASTIC AND we can give them 95%.

Tests conducted, IVF treatment done, 2wks Wait, BFP confirmed for the 1st time ever and we are living the dream

I am happy someone finally mentioned thefertilechickonline.com before anyone goes for IUI or IVF or choose a fertile hospital please do your research very well because it's obvious that we have a lot of fake fertility specialist making money off expectant couples.
For a long time I considered IVF but was never sure of where I wanted to do it. But with this blog I was able to streamline a few good hospitals like The Ark, The Mart, The Bridge (although some people might disagree) and The Roding( not so popular)

I eventually used the Roding and it worked for me. I had a few issues with them when it comes to communication cos most of them want to hide their success secrets but the Dr in charge is a blessing. Pls this is not an advert o ooo.

Before embarking on IVF or any assisted method I beg you in the name of God, pray very well to ask God if it's ur own way. Because it might not be the step God wants you to take or it might not be the right timing. If you have read God's waiting room volume 3, then u must have read about IVF and God's timing.
So don't allow desperation or low cost of treatment make you choose an hospital. If u have to wait for the right time pls do.
Also there are few NGOs that financially support some waiting parents. So do your research and pray well. May God help us all achieve our dream of been parents.

You will be prompted to go and update it with your Emirates ID as soon as possible to avoid disconnection. The old line won't work anymore if you don't update it with your Emirates ID.

Yes sorry you cannot get sim card with only your passport any longer, they stopped it since last year even here in Dubai it has to be strictly with your Emirates ID only, it's either you beg someone with Emirates ID to assist getting one for you or you ask someone coming in from Nigeria to get one for you at the airport because i think you can only get at the airport with your passport when arriving.

What about those of us that bought about 2 years ago with our international passport, would they be deactivated or we can still use it.

Career / How Chinese-owned Huawei Mistreats Its Staff And The Nigerian State by aadetoyin(f): 10:07pm On Nov 13, 2016
I just came across this on Sahara reporters and asked someone that works there and the allegations are TRUE.
The truth about HUAWEI.....

Huawei Technologies Company Nigeria Limited, the local arm of the Chinese-owned Information Communication Technology firm with a presence in 170 countries, has been cheating Nigeria and Nigerians since it opened in the country in 2005. Huawei provides 72.65% of the end-to-end telecommunication services in Nigeria, leaving other vendors like Ericsson, Nokia, ZTE with less than 30% of the services.

Just as Huawei's competitors are gasping, so is Nigeria, whose laws are treated with total indifference by the Chinese company. Sources disclosed that company regularly evades tax, repatriates capital and abuses expatriate quota among other illegalities. Sources added that the company also muzzles complaints from staff.

SaharaReporters learnt that in the last 18 months, Huawei, with generous assistance from the Human Resources Director, Dorothy Johnson, has freely trampled on the workplace quota approved by the Nigeria Immigration Services (NIS), which stipulates one expatriate to four Nigerians. This translates to 75% Nigerians and 25% foreigners

As at November 1 2016, Huawei had a 3117-strong workforce. Of this number, said company sources, only 675 have full-time employment contracts. The rest, Nigerians and non-Nigerians, are outsourced. Of the 675 staff, 354 are Nigerians, while 321 are foreigners, implying a distribution of 52.44% to 47.56%.

If you get to Etihad bus Station early enough before the Metro stops at 12am, you can take the Metro which is directly beside Etihad Office and stop at Al nahda station/Stadium station, then take a taxi from there to your destination which will be reasonably cheap because the distance will be short.

Thank you very much

Some people are just so selfish so she keeps bringing kids into the world cos she desires a particular sex. Tell her to visit a fertility clinic or an adoption center so that she can see the high number of people that are praying and trying so hard to even have one child.

Were you told to use this Primolut Noresthisterone by a doctor?

Primolut N can be useful sometimes but does not help in actuality and that is just the fact. This is because,it can tensed up pseudomenorrhea(false menstruation) which is an ordinary uterine bleeding and the woman may feel she is on her cycle pull.

Thank you Doc. Yes my Gyn recommended the Primolut N. I stopped using Metformin, guess I will resume. Thanks

Metformin and Clomiphene citrate seem to be the bench drugs for PCOS if other health odds are met.It is adviceable to use use the CLOMID for an interval of 3-4cycles before one call it a shot but the Metformin should be continually be in use till your doctor advised otherwise. If your case is not that of amenorrhoea(total obstruction or cess of menstruation),then there is a good chance that you can be pregnant.Be in sound mind, regular exercise, good diet with fruits and as well on some helping pills that supplies both the minerals and vitamins.
