IamMichael: I really don't understand you people honestly.
Does it mean anytime someone asks you question, you automatically assume things ?
I asked you very simple question bro, and I'm sure the questions should easily be answered by someone who made the claim you made earlier.
The only thing I'm seeing here is you dodging the questions. You are just deflecting, that's all, and it has nothing to do with me. In all my interactions with religious peeps, those who have nothing to say always defer to this your dodging pattern! Okay, I'm dodging. Is that better? |

MrBrownJay1: are you saying that a dominant MAN Utd (who lost 3 games) in 99-00 was better than an unbeaten team like Arsenal in 2004?! The Arsenal invisibles were nowhere near dominant. They won the league in 2004 undefeated, and that was just it. |

IamMichael: You are answering questions I didn't ask you bro. You don't know what the outcome of your reply will elicit from me, so why are you speaking for me? I I didn't answer your questions because I know where this is going. I could never convince a materialist of the reality of spiritism, for spiritism do not have material proofs. And this is me being honest, except you don't like honesty. |

IamMichael: 1) - Have you found God? - Have you seen God? - Have you heard from God before in your entire life? - Have you felt God before in your entire life? - If you have felt God, what exactly did you feel?
2) - How did you find God? - What did he look like when you saw him? - What did he sound like when you heard him? - How did you realise what you are feeling was God?
3) - In what ways does God manifest himself in your life? - What is the most visible thing that is a direct resultant of your meeting with God?
I'm sure as a wise man, you don't need the bible to answer the above questions sincerely as someone who has found God. Honestly Mike, I couldn't answer these questions to your satisfaction, as you're a materialist. This will only descend into the usual back-and-forth between God and no-god believers. However, I can tell you this: you're never gonna find God on the Internet. You will have to dedicate most of your life to His course to find Him, and when you do, You will never see Him in the flesh. Furthermore, God will never come to you to make a material impact. He will do so only through agency. I would have shared some stories but since God was not physically present in any of them , atheists would always find silly excuses to dismiss them. So what's the point? |

shadeyinka: God has always been merciful. He allowed everyone to choose to consciously accept or reject Him. If God were human he would be regretting ever given us freewill. And if he hadn't blessed us with freewill, this ungrateful lot would still be the ones complaining of being made robotic Atheists need a physical God they can weigh on a laboratory scale. A god that can be confined inside a test tube. Unfortunately, they will turn around to say "that can't be a god it is our servant."
Unfortunately, God isn't physical: God is a SPIRIT! Of course if He could be quatiified, they'd Him a joke. |

shadeyinka: I agree with you.
Only an ignorant person use "God of the gaps" as an excuse for what science doesn't have answers to.
But
Not everyone is however in this category. Some of us have a relationship with this invisible and non-material God.
Filling of gaps with God/gods can only be said to be true if there is no basis (subjective or objective experience of God) to come to such a conclusion.
If a person doesn't have such an experience, he should look for it rather than concluding that NO-ONE has an experience as to justify his position. They will not look for it, but rather wasting away their lifes on a faceless forum demanding for the coordinates of God's location, or even more foolishly for a visit from him in their homes. I don't think I can ever have enough of atheists' foolishness on this forum. Their foolishness sometimes fills my day with laughter. May God forgive me. |

hulk616: I have studied all the stones and they are not magic. That why hulk in Endgame could use all the stones because they emit gamma radiation.
In comics, there is a very thin line between magic and science. There's a reason it's called the soul stone, as that alone gives a supernatural connotation. And when a supernatural object or entity demands a blood sacrifice before it can be channelled, it's not far-fetched to label such requirements blood magic. But if you think science is: making a human sacrifice an essential prerequisite for achieving a particular goal, then I've got else to state, bro. |

hulk616: making blood sacrifice to get the soul stone. Doesn't make the stone is magic.
I m talking about the stones not avengers members or thanos members. And all I m saying is the stones are not magic. When you make blood sacrifice to acquire a monumental power, what do you call it? Juju, jazz, or whatever, but there all still steeped in blood magic. They didn't have to spell it for that magic is woven into the convoluted fabrics of the universe. If you take your time to study the essence of each stone and the signify you might understand. |

hulk616: those infinity stones are not magic. They are part of the building blocks of the universe. Now that you mentioned them, the soul stone required a blood sacrifice but you're thinking it's some kind of science abi? Even Thanos's No 1 man, Maw, was a great magician. Bro, The Avengers is filled both with implicit and explicit magic. |

I just want to apologise for my attitude during our debate about police shooting.
Everybody has a weakness. Mine is aggressive debating. I am very good at debating and trolling. Unfortunately, I do tend to mock people when I am arguing with them. It is a bad habit I'm trying to stop.
Sometimes, I wonder if it is a blessing or a curse. Looking back, I have truly frustrated a lot of people on this thread.
Anyhow, I'm sorry. I'm trying to turn over a new leaf. Wow. People on here don't tend to admit their faults but you have done so. I'm sure the person will accept your sincere penitence. |
TV/Movies › Re: What Movie Are You Watching Now? by aadoiza: 5:16pm On Apr 21, 2020 |
mekaprime: Then, the problem with you is the genre. Most of those movies that make the headlines across the globe as you put it, are infused with lots of magic. If you're looking for engaging movies that'll keep your attention, then you must learn to see beyond the budget of movies.
Like I said, it's your genre. Try to identify what tickles your fancy. If you want a movie that'll keep your attention a 100% & you wouldn't even know when it 2-3 hours runtime elapses, then go for Phycological Thrillers & probably Biopic. The magic in these genres or subgenres are next to none, though, they're mainly low budget & possibly Indie movies. I actually don't pay attention to a movie genre, so long as it's not romance. Look at it this way, Superman, Batman movies were big back in the day, including their animated version, with hardly magic in their plots but now they are fraught with magic. I don't remember seeing magic in Egoli and Days of our lives, but now we get more magic-riddled series llike Lucifer and Sabrina. The point is Hollywood is tapping more and more than ever into magic-themed plots to make great movies and series. |
