OtemAtum: Whatever rock your boat. Just enjoy your day But just know that the definition of God is not something you can just imagine from your own head. It's broad, you can't capture it all at once. You can read the BOOK OF UNIVERSAL HISTORY to understand God more and see how it created Jehovah, Allah etc into our physical world billions of years back.
OtemAtum: This makes no sense whatsoever. Otem is not the Totality of God and Otem is not COVID-19 positive. What are you saying in essence my guy? To understand where someone is coming from, you need to read what he has read. Go and read the BOOK OF UNIVERSAL HISTORY to understand what God Almighty is. Then come and engage me in an argument after then.
You defined god as the totality of existence on this forum na. So If what I wrote doesn't make sense then otem does not make sense.
OtemAtum: See my ebira guy remaining in mental slavery to religion. Anyways, Otem don't do miracles, he leads people to science and reveals histories of the universes. And most especially, Otem reveals the imprisonment of Jehovah and Allah your borrowed gods.
Since god means totality of existence to you. It also means covid19(novel) is a novel part of your Otem god, so Otem is using an old part(science) of its essence to treat the novel part, and this is why it's gonna take a while for otem to heal itself. To coin a phrase: it's hard for a doctor to heal himself.
donnie: They protect the lie with many laws tagged under antisemitism. And don't forget, these people are the most Powerful in the world. They control the media, Hollywood, World Bank, even the American presidency.
I have historical documents, journals and references dating as far back as 1600s that expose this fraud.
So no books that I can download . I just more books to read this period.
OtemAtum: Yes o, nairaland is a place where pastors like Mutteylaff and Afas like Iamgenius argue with a Brain-user like Otem and an atheist like CAPSLOCKED(May his wonderful name be typed in CAPSLOCK
Brain-user abi arse-user . Shey Otem no go give us cure for covid19 ni?
Can you recommend a few books that talk about the magical metamorphosis of the Jews from whatever colour they used to be to white? I think this is one of the biggest frauds perpetrated in human history, but no-one seems to be talking about it.
9jatrendz: We have a very long way to go in Nigeria, we the citizens are worst than the government
Exactly. I have said it times without number that there's no such thing as bad leaders when a country produces them over and over again, and in which case there could only be bad people.
MacCantStopMe: Lol....spoken confidently in ignorance.
Take a look at the human development index that uses various socio-economic variables to rank countries in terms of development. The pattern is clear.
It is also of no wonder that the USA is the most religious developed country and it ranks the worst in healthcare and many other indices among developed countries.
The emboldened confirms what I already knew about you. People like you see what they want to see
MacCantStopMe: Simple research shows that the poorest countries are very religious while the countries with the highest human development index are all secular, less religious countries. FACT!
Like many people, you have made a shallow inference from very complicated world affairs.
All I know for a fact is: religion is and will never be an impedement to development but could be deployed as a tool to carry out machinations, as do any other ideologies, or movements, or persuasions, and what not.
MacCantStopMe: My first sentence was- secularism not atheism.
This is good. Now we know atheism is out of our options.
Nigeria is far from secular. A half principle is not a principle. Secularism is only half practiced in Nigeria.
If not is not secular, do you actually think atheists like you will have the cojones to to come online making blasphemous comments and not get tracked down to be hanged, stretched, and Quartered?
We can compromisingly say Nigeria tilts more towards secularism than religion.
First, we have sharia law in the north. Very wrong. Secondly, we have government that uses state money for religious activities. Are you aware that up till 2015, different state governments were sponsoring pilgrimages? Both Christian and islamic pilgrimages.
The Shariah in the North does not apply to me, or anyone I know any more than US laws do. Besides, only few states up practise it.
If state governments sponsor pilgrimage in their respective states, do they do so because there's statutory provision for it or out of whims? I believe they do so because of the promise of wanton peculation it holds.
Then, we have governors who claim that their state is a christian state. An eastern governor did this. Then, we can talk about the immunity big pastors have where small churches and shops were forcibly closed but no police dared to closed big churches that had full congregations during this epidemic.
Any governor can make as many claims they desire, in so far they're not backed by statutes they remain mere opinions. You will have to provide government documents that convey such immunity.
Religion is a problem in Nigeria and Africa at large. It is not the biggest problems it is second to only corruption.
This conclusion is false. Religion made education affordable to the poorest of people all over the world.
Just I admit it, you could not understand a simple sentence. Your comments have provoked some sad implications: it's obvious brazen dumbness and lack of humility to admit our errors, however humiliating they are, are our biggest concerns.
MuttleyLaff: Dont mind him, he is hiding under 'isms, 'cratics and 'ability words just to cover up his misunderstanding of what true and pure religion is, especially the sort of religion you can't ever find fault(s) or flaws, in
Their attempts at equating atheism to any idea that takes their fancy suggest desperation, or poor understanding on their part.
Ezmans: Is a church an outsider? Landed property in Igbo Land is open to any body but you can't invest in any region except Yoruba land bcs of inferiority complex but igbos I'll invest in anywhere and make fine
No, a church is not an outsider, but when it's set up by outsiders in a most tribalistic environment it becomes one. Ibos will invest anywhere because they are allowed to by the locals. I know a part of Kogi that would not sell land to the igbos until recently.
NB This is not the usual demented dick-measuring contest between țhe flatty and the cone-headed that has plagued Nairaland in recent years and I will not further on this lest it be mistaken for such embarrassment.
MacCantStopMe: Secularism not atheism. Secularism saved Europe from Thoecratic madness of Kings who thought they had the divine right to rule. Also saved them from papal infallibility in politics.
Secularism does not connote atheism. Nigeria is secular, so the slow pace of development it lack thereof in the country is not in anyway rooted in religion.
Religious people in general are more filled with hate and evil than people who don't believe in God.
Even here in Nigeria Christians and Muslims practise tribalism and religious bigotry on the open but have the nerve to scream their god is full of love.
Nonsense
Why did all of you who quoted me not understand the simple sentence I made? Lack of comprehension skill amongst our so-called literate might be the biggest bane of our society yet, not religion.
Osidazz19: Rubbish, so you are God's representative on earth to say who is real and who is fake Christian? LMAO. They know more about Christianity than you and they were the ones who forced it on you and told you that your religion is evil. They did that for 300 years . Pls bow down to your religious slave masters.
Your problem stems chiefly from your poor comprehension of a simple sentence.
Ezmans: the worst racism is in Nigeria, have you seen a church founded by a Yoruba man having a permanent structure in South East?If you see a deeper life church in my village it's like a shrine, no block, no chair, but they build 40,000 branch in Lagos, have camp ground in ogun state they don't care about there members in the east
Yeah, I agree that tribalism reigns supreme in the consciousness of many nigerians. However; the point you raised about the South East and yoruba churches in the region may have less to do with tribalism on the part of the yoruba Christians than it does with the igbo"s eternal reluctance to sell landed properties to outsiders.
MuttleyLaff: What does "my dreams dont come true mean? You've earlier said in the two below reproduced quotes, that you find yourself in those places days after in reality.
At the emboldened: I never saw it as 'my dreams coming true', not until I read the above comment. Anyway I still don't see it as such. And it's not as if when I have these dreams they tend to have any bearing on my dealings in the actual places. They don't do anything at all.
I believe dreams that actually come true should convey a meaning, or affect one's life.
I have dreams like that too, where upon waking up I am unable to remember the dream I had when sleeping though I knew I had a dream. It got to a point, I realise or know I am dreaming, and didnt want to wake up into reality because I so much was enjoying the dream. I remember knowing I was dreaming and in my consciousness I didnt want to wake up yet until I got to doing a particular thing in the dream.
Also, sometimes during have a dream while sleeping, if I have gotten woken up, i find myself telling off whoever it was that woke me up, because in the dream I was about doing something exciting, but the waking up cancelled that then.
I did these a lot growing up
Another thing, is I might be having a beautiful dream, but if I need to check the time or something else, like use the toilet for a pee, I wouldnt wake because I dont want to lose the dream, as that's what happens when I do wake up. I havent dreamt for a long time now.
Sometimes, I am dreaming about something exciting and consciously in parallel to having the dream, I am telling myself dont forget the dream, dont forget the details in the dream when you wake up, lol. I even try to force memories of what I am dreaming into my consciousness , but nine times out of ten, when I wake up, I still wont remember what dream I had, lol
Well, it's still OK. Lemme tell you another style lol. It's in contrast to the emboldened. In this case, I always kinda forced my consciousness into my nightmares sorta. And I want to believe this is what ended nightmares for me as it was effective that bad dreams didn't scare me anymore. Although it's been a long while I did it.
This is how I did it: whenever I had a really terrifying nightmare with an unacceptable sticky ending for me and I woke up, I would immediately go back to sleep focusing on the ending of the nightmare from which I'd just woken up and projecting a desirable ending from my consciousness into the impending continuation of the same nightmare. It was my absolutely effective antidote to nightmares back in the day, and it made me grow stronger in the face of very bad dreams until nightmares and I became parallel lines.
This could have been a gift, who knows. I don't know if I can still pull it off.
I think this ability might have facilitated my little success in astral projection/lucid dreaming pursuit a few years back. Having read some articles on AP and that many couldn't project in their first few tries, I decided to try, and after a few minutes of concentration off I went. Now that I'm thinking about it I think it really did.
It is to good ends. Not for selfish, not for money-grubbing, not for self-serving, not for self-seeking, not for out for what one can get because of it purposes ends
MuttleyLaff: "As I was praying, Gabriel, (i.e. angel) whom I had seen in the earlier vision, came swiftly to me at the time of the evening sacrifice" - Daniel 9:21
"I know a certain Christian man who fourteen years ago was snatched up to the highest heaven I do not know whether this actually happened or whether he had a vision--only God knows." - 2 Corinthians 12:2
"At this point I had another vision and saw an open door in heaven. And the voice that sounded like a trumpet, which I had heard speaking to me before, said, "Come up here, and I will show you what must happen after this." - Revelation 4:1
I wasnt with that talking about your dream(s) per se, but it was just posted as a fyi with you cc'ed so to see it, lol. I merely put my hand in the pocket, and pulled it out without showing what sort of bird, its color I then had in my hand, lol.
What you have, simply is a profound gift. Now you havent actually said, how exactly you experience these phenomena. Is it a when I am, eyes closed and I am fast asleep, sleeping dreams. Are they, my eyes are open, I am awake and not sleeping, but have vivid visions playing out in plain sight ahead/in front of me. Or lastly, cant leave this out, daydreaming
What you seem to be exhibiting is a gift, just as I've earlier remarked. It's something in the line of two gifts, called word of knowledge and the word of wisdom. I dont have to tell you why you have this gift, the purpose why you are gifted with it and who primarily is to benefit of this gift.
Ok. But I still think the previous post would pass for a scientific explanation.
And no, its not trance. Its not vision. Its not any New Age guff. Its just good o' God-given, natural dream.
I'm not particularly sure it's a gift as I don't see events that I haven't happened nor do I see an august visitor coming. In fact, MuttleyLaff, my dreams don't come true. Most of my dreams appear to be deleted from my mnemonic data just at the point of awaking from sleep. So seeing a few places in dreams before actually going there in the flesh can't be a gift. And to what end if it were a gift?
