uvagho: Oga please free this guy now. Everyone here is entitled to give his or her opinion or choose to follow any other person's idea or opinion. I believe we should all understand that no one here works in the embassy and we only speculate and make assumptions based on past experiences. The guy already told you he is ready for any outcome arising from his actions. Guess u didn't see a moniker's testimony last year. After waiting for a long while, the guy decided to try admission and visa for another country. He got the country's visa and decided to send several mails to Canadian embassy for the withdrawal of his application. He continued sending mails even after they responded that his application is still on queue. After some weeks, he got his canada visa application approved. Note that his application was still within processing time. Another good thing is that he is a PGD applicant. I understand your point bro. He is taking a risk but nobody knows the outcome. 5 Likes 1 Share |

. Your friend's profile demands a PROFESSIONAL advancement with his intended program and not his undergraduate study. It will clearly show that a master degree will add to his current career and this also will show career progression and advancement. It is convincing this way that he is a genuine student. So it's either he goes for a program in his role in the bank or show other achievements(research, journals, conferences etc Untill he really shows he needs the master of chemical engineering, i'm afraid, he may likely still get refused for purpose of visit if he apply with the master of chemical engineering admission. [/quote] Nice one baba. You have said it all. But I won't advise him to go for masters in banking cos its not related to his undergraduate. He might still be denied for purpose of visit. The best is to engage in a professional certifications, research or any other evidence to show that he has focus in chemical engineering. Purpose of visit is no longer the way it used to be. If u have wide study gap, then you have the task to prove related activities to your undergraduate studies and not just your employment. They don't care if you work for the top bank in the world. |

klem93: Please follow the steps below: 1. Google www.university study.ca to filter your a list of schools that offer your intended programs. Please note that majority of Canadian university accept minimum of 2.1 CGPA equivalent. 2. If you don't meet the CGPA requirement, you can choose to go for a post graduate diploma course offered in the universities or colleges 3. For the English requirement, you don't need any form of english test for admission into most schools so far your course was taught in English language. 4. Read through the pages on this thread to get more information about seeking admission and applying for visa. All the best 1 Like |

Chibabe4Christ: Hello. This is a fair report considering the fact that you got a mail initially for misrepresentation. Its good to know you are not ban or inadmissible. If its ban, the VO would have ticked the box for ban or inadmissible. All you would do now is to order for a GCMS note to have a good idea on the VO's perception about your application, reapply and hope for the best. Cheers! |

MichaelFinn: Bros how far. Am sure you are aware not more than 5 PGD/C got TRV on this thread last year. Bro, Its so difficult now. What Michv is just saying is to have a plan B. The plan B is not just PGD/C alone but even masters+PhD+funding cos these VOs are not predictable anymore. |

Austinpee4: Hmmm. Bro, this is unbelievable. Wait, is the above reason from the GCMS note? Insufficient funds could mean something else but not the above reason. CIC can easily confirm payment of fees via any means including simple phone call to the contacts on the offer letter. |

einsteino: My brother, the best is still to have dual intent. Never rely on a single route. A friend of mine got PR like six months after starting school in Canada. Even as a student, you should be looking for ways to get your PR before concluding your studies. Am even aware that you can change to paying domestic student fees after getting your PR in Canada. 5 Likes |

Newman1010: Well said bro. Another suggestion: 1. Pay you Tuition fees 2. Request for a letter called Banker's confirmation letter from the bank. In this letter, the bank will state amount in deposit with the bank. Banker's confirmation letter is very easy to get from the bank. 1 Like |
