Please house nobody should fight with me o
Those with ineligibility i.e those who are not eligible, it simply means not qualified
That's a 99% chance refusal.

Please house take note
No fighting o, I'm just contributing

Obviously. I could imagine how the guy will be feeling now. They should just remove that final outcome line and stop confusing people.

In short,I can hardly understand why u r so rude and dumb at the same time .U could not take a simple word of wisdom from someone who clearly has 100% more wisdom than u will have in years if u continue like this .U say u r a Christian ,people like u only make Christianity look like a a thing from the mouth and not the heart ..u better start changing ur ideology and listen to simple corrections and above all all ,try to think outside the box when talking and don't sound like a person dealing with complexity issues.

Oga please free this guy now.

Everyone here is entitled to give his or her opinion or choose to follow any other person's idea or opinion.

I believe we should all understand that no one here works in the embassy and we only speculate and make assumptions based on past experiences.

The guy already told you he is ready for any outcome arising from his actions.

Guess u didn't see a moniker's testimony last year. After waiting for a long while, the guy decided to try admission and visa for another country. He got the country's visa and decided to send several mails to Canadian embassy for the withdrawal of his application. He continued sending mails even after they responded that his application is still on queue. After some weeks, he got his canada visa application approved. Note that his application was still within processing time. Another good thing is that he is a PGD applicant.

I understand your point bro. He is taking a risk but nobody knows the outcome.

I saw this on eligibility column:
Review of eligibility We regret to inform you that you do not meet the eligibility requirements. Please see the final decision below.

Then on the final decision, I saw this;
Final decision Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

Please can someone explain. Am I out of the race?

What was the status before the change?

I support you. But bro, how do you know for sure God's will is for you to get a visa? From my experience, the will of God is not always plain on the face like you put it. If it was, Christ would not have taught us to pray his will be done. I wish you luck and pray you get the visa. But God's will doesn't always work out like that, that is why God's will is very hard to accept and pray. I wish you nothing but the best of luck. Go for your dream with dedication and focus. But following God doesn't always guarantee your best outcome. Show me a strong Christian and I will show you one who takes God's will even though it's not necessary an outcome that they want.

Bro you can possess anything in this world by faith. It all depends on your level of faith. Please allow him to speak what he believes in.

Just to encourage someone!

Someone who contacted me to help review his SOP just got his application approved like 5mins ago! I haven't even told him yet! I want to break the news to him in person! This is his 6th attempt, over the past 2 years!

I encouraged him to give it one last try, he reluctantly did, i practically helped him because i believed he shouldn't just give up especially when he satisfied all the requirements. After applying and linking, he just gave me his account details to be checking his account for him because he already lost all hope!

I can't even contain my joy! I'm almost emotional right now! I can imagine what he will feel as i break this news to him!

5 refusals!! and at last, an approval! Never give up or lost all hope. There is no challenge that is not surmountable. Use the right strategy and above all, just trust God even when you don't see any sign! The process will eventually make you stronger and more determined!

I'm really exicted!!!!!!

No cause to worry, some applied since March and haven't heard anything, I applied 2 May and upfront medicals too and I haven't heard anything, the truth is you need to find activities to do to take your mind off it. For me I read other study threads and I just might learn one or two things for the future from there, coupled with the office workload I have..... Biko, having nothing to do after applying for Visa is a very serious matter o. The suspense can be very difficult to handle, but all in all, God alone has the final answers

Bro, please what is your Eligibility review status on your CIC account?

Your friend's profile demands a PROFESSIONAL advancement with his intended program and not his undergraduate study. It will clearly show that a master degree will add to his current career and this also will show career progression and advancement. It is convincing this way that he is a genuine student.

So it's either he goes for a program in his role in the bank or show other achievements(research, journals, conferences etc

Untill he really shows he needs the master of chemical engineering, i'm afraid, he may likely still get refused for purpose of visit if he apply with the master of chemical engineering admission. [/quote]

Nice one baba. You have said it all.

But I won't advise him to go for masters in banking cos its not related to his undergraduate. He might still be denied for purpose of visit.

The best is to engage in a professional certifications, research or any other evidence to show that he has focus in chemical engineering.

Purpose of visit is no longer the way it used to be. If u have wide study gap, then you have the task to prove related activities to your undergraduate studies and not just your employment. They don't care if you work for the top bank in the world.

If its more than the average processing time of 8 weeks i'll suggest you send a case specific inquiry. It is very much possible they have e mailed you asking for something in particular and mail got lost in transit.
Be wise

Hmm bro average processing time is still 13 wks o

@ Osemigho, your application is getting to 15wk now and its passed processing time already. Bro, you have nothing to lose by sending them a mail or case equiry now.

Please give accurate info please.... Yes they say on the websites majorly 2:1 but most schools also state that if you have a b in the last 60 credits of your undergrad which is almost similar to the last 2 years of your academic pursuit.

He may have a 2:2 and his last 2 years will be good enough... Please if you have a high 2:2 a minimum of a 3.3 / 5 please you may try and be lucky...

Good luck to all applicants.

You can ask the grad cord of your programme to help u assess your credentials and also tell if you should apply. With your credentials.

Oga, please give your accurate opinion here and don't make reference to my post. I said 'majority' of schools. On average, you still need a 2.1 to have a good chance.

please can someone put me through...trying to apply for masters in canada but dont know if the english test is required for everyone noting that I obtained my degree from India... please anyone to help me on this journey, I will be absolutely glad

Please follow the steps below:

1. Google www.university study.ca to filter your a list of schools that offer your intended programs. Please note that majority of Canadian university accept minimum of 2.1 CGPA equivalent.

2. If you don't meet the CGPA requirement, you can choose to go for a post graduate diploma course offered in the universities or colleges

3. For the English requirement, you don't need any form of english test for admission into most schools so far your course was taught in English language.

4. Read through the pages on this thread to get more information about seeking admission and applying for visa.

All the best

HELLO NOBLE HOUSE!!!!!!!
PLEASE I NEED YOUR ADVICE ON WHAT TO DO. I APPLIED FOR CANADIAN STUDY PERMIT THIS YEAR JANUARY, I GOT A MESSAGE FINALLY FROM CIC THAT I WAS REFUSED DUE TO THE FOLLOWING REASONS You have not satisfied me that you would leave Canada at the end of your stay. In reaching this decision, I considered several factors, including:purpose of visit and secondly Section 40(1)(a): For directly or indirectly misrepresenting or withholding material facts relating to a relevant matter that induces or could induce an error in the administration of this Act; BUT am welcome to reapply if you feel that you can respond to these concerns and can demonstrate that your situation meets the requirements. All new applications must be accompanied by a new processing fee.

PLEASE WHWT DO I DOOOOOO!!!!!!
I NEED YOUR HELP!!!!!!!!

Hello. This is a fair report considering the fact that you got a mail initially for misrepresentation. Its good to know you are not ban or inadmissible. If its ban, the VO would have ticked the box for ban or inadmissible.

All you would do now is to order for a GCMS note to have a good idea on the VO's perception about your application, reapply and hope for the best.

Cheers!

It was last year. I see things have changed this year. Sometime last year there was a period when a lot of people with PGD applications were denied. Some people still got approved regardless.

Bros how far. Am sure you are aware not more than 5 PGD/C got TRV on this thread last year. Bro, Its so difficult now. What Michv is just saying is to have a plan B. The plan B is not just PGD/C alone but even masters+PhD+funding cos these VOs are not predictable anymore.

Just saw an application refused for "insufficient funds to pay for tuition" only.

Reason? Applicant was careless to print the tuition reciept from the school without noticing that the reciept number was not included in his printout. It was his fault and he acknowledged it.

I guess CIC tried to verify the payment and didn't also request a new proof of payment from him (it's possible they thought it was a smart move). Every aspect of the application was solid. Funds available and waiting in his account in canada for living expenses is $C20, 000. First year tuition fully paid but that little carelessness will cost him a new processing fee.

Abeg, make we dey check every details! Even if you took first in sightseeing, allow another person go through your application. It could save you something!

A riduculous reason of refusal. This one dey pain!

Hmmm. Bro, this is unbelievable. Wait, is the above reason from the GCMS note? Insufficient funds could mean something else but not the above reason. CIC can easily confirm payment of fees via any means including simple phone call to the contacts on the offer letter.

Who told you that everyone that wants to go to Canada is doing so for the sake of "hustling"? Fallacy of hasty and ignorant generalisation. It's fine that you want to come back to develop your country. That is what you want to do, allow other forum members do what they want to do without making them feel like they are doing something wrong. Lots of people will rather live in a country like Canada with clean air, peaceful environment, constant power supply, sane political system to the reasons you pointed out for wanting to return to Nigeria. I know lots of people here who have gotten well paying jobs in Canada. Live and let live. Don't choke us with your own ideas.

i have slightly higher than the socalled perfect scores in ielts but even then the express entry is too dicey for me and dont have the patience. someone who has worked in canny is far advantaged when applying, someone who has canadian education is also advantaged, then those with job in canada are like automatic cheats in the EE pool. the whole system requires too much patience and is too dicey for us in naija.

My brother, the best is still to have dual intent. Never rely on a single route. A friend of mine got PR like six months after starting school in Canada. Even as a student, you should be looking for ways to get your PR before concluding your studies. Am even aware that you can change to paying domestic student fees after getting your PR in Canada.

I would believe for the embassy to send they email requesting assurances to export funds, the have no doubt whatsoever that funds are available. Where the main issue lie is, will the required funds be available in canada with the forex policy??

I also believe that this email will not be sent to all applicants. Only applicants whose application is at the verge of being approved but have not shown financial availability either in canada or exportable assurances /evidence will get the email.

Dats true bro. All CBN circulars and correspondences can be included to prove that the funds can be exported.

3. Then write a well structured letter stating the funds in your account is for your living expenses.
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 12 by AAOL: 4:14pm On May 05, 2017
Newman1010:
I think the embassy is trying to ensure that every applicant has sufficient funds to survive in Canada for one year. I just took time to read their request and I noticed they requested for only two documents.

1) proof of tuition payment for the first year
and
2) a letter from your school acknowledging receipt of living expense OR bank draft OR guarantee from a bank(hard to get).

To tackle this, pay your tuition for the first year and cut a dollar draft as proof of living expense or transfer your living expense fund to your school. Shikina.

To school in Canada henceforth, you need to have MONEY or FUNDING. This is now the reality.

Well said bro.

Another suggestion:

1. Pay you Tuition fees

2. Request for a letter called Banker's confirmation letter from the bank. In this letter, the bank will state amount in deposit with the bank. Banker's confirmation letter is very easy to get from the bank.
