Dear justwise, good evening and thank you for the wonderful thing you’re doing here. Please I have a question. I had applied for the UK visit visa with my wife in October 2018 and we were giving 6 months visas each as first timers. We travelled to the UK in November and came back to Nigeria after 15 days. First question is, can I reapply in March before the expiration of the visa which is 25th April? because I plan to travel in May. Secondly, my wife has just put to birth our first child and she is 3 weeks old now, do I need to get a passport for her and apply for her visa too when I’m putting a new application for me and my wife?
Thank you in advance

Even a day old child, you can get passport for him/her according to immigration officer whom I call when am about to get for 2 months old child.

Bros this your spending on feeding is just out of place and cannot fly for a visa application.

Pls tell us the hotel or restaurant you eat...and is it African dishes or continental?
Thinking the restaurant/meals are meant for celebs.

Let me clarify that the question is how much will all cost to travel to and from UK. The answer is not for visa processing as am not an expert in that area.

As for your question, the amount is not for food only including ijekukuje (lol). I stay in the north wella and our mouth no dey stay one place, so we eat anything mouth see. No insult to anyone ooo I beg.

You seems to be criticizing this when you don't know where and how I spent it. Am talking from my own perspective.

Take naija as a case study, you can spend #1000 on a coca cola and 2,000 on food in places like Abuja while you will eat to satisfaction in restaurant at ibadan with just #300.

Some places in London, I even spent more in a day. It depends on the restaurant. For example, hotel restaurant cost much than outside one.

So the £100 here depends on where you eat and the type of food you eat couple with drinks.

justwise:

You spent £100 daily on food?

It's not a joke, that's why I said on average. It depends on you and how longer throat you are.
For me I spend like £20 - £25 at a sitting and do this three to four times daily. grin

justwise:

Is that a joke?
Travel / Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by ab4m: 5:33am On Jan 25, 2019
To be on a safer side, don't apply till after your interview.
Though the standard time for UK processing is 3 weeks, who knows anything can happen and it got extended.
Except you are ready to pay for priority service, you can get your visa process in 24 hours.
All the best.

Good evening sir / ma

I have USA interview in February 19th....and I also plan to sumit my UK visa 30th of January........Please is it possible to apply to uk and my passport ready before February 19th
Travel / Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by ab4m: 5:30am On Jan 25, 2019
From experience, it's depends on when you are traveling and the type of accommodation you need including shopping.

Am in London for 4 days December/January
Ethiopia airways return ticket #308,000
Accommodation £50/day on average
Feeding £100/day average
Transport £250 Buy oyster bus card for cheaper transport, taxi suck. Though depends on your route.

Advise: Book for flight ahead like 3 weeks, you can even get cheaper flights on British airways. Looking for hostel or Airbnb for accommodating if you are on low budget. Shopping depends on your pocket size.

Safe trip.

good afternoon justwise, i sent an email to you but you didn't reply yet.

Why did you guys like giving Nigerians bad name? How on Earth will you ask them not to come back again and you expect to join them easily.

They have database and no way you can go through other airports without getting caught, unless you go disappear enter.

Abeg think twice, no leave your family because of better life there.

I feel I have cause a lot of arguments regarding account issue and thought it's better to share the outcome of my application.
Just collect my passport back now and Visa issue.
Below are my submission.

All my CAC document
TCC with nil payment for three years assessment
Three different share certificate
One building plan and two landed property
Wife and daughter birth certificate
Personal Bank account with 1.7m balance though account run well, 11m transaction in 6 months
Plan to spend 700k for the trip
Virgin passport

A friend of mine who is an agent help with the application and suggest I leave minimum of 1m balance in the account till decision made.

My experience, what matter most is the turnover on your account.

I will advise you to forget this and focus on future. If you do anything stupid to her site, she will report you to Fiverr and Fiverr are stupid enough not to listen to your side and your account will be disabled forever.

Moreso, Fiverr advise you collect money upfront, so you blame yourself for trusting her.

Am talking from experience, I just got blocked on Fiverr with similar issue, the account that made me #300k minimum a month got disabled because if a stupid buyer.

Head to my advice bro and focus on future work.

For those trying to book quick appointment.

Lagos is full till May and hardly change, I kept on checking Abuja appointment yesterday and got Tuesday 11 Dec, unfortunately not ready. I tried later in the evening and got January 10.

Don't rush to book appointment if you need a closer date, just keep on checking, you might be lucky.

What you should do? Okay, worry less, decision on your application will come soon, most likely within the week. Meanwhile, I’m wondering though, who asked you not to spend money from the account? Please do, and stop punishing yourself further! Their business with that account ended - at least temporarily - on the very last transaction as shown on the bank statement submitted....

It’s only in the case of a REFUSAL and there’s an urgent need to reapply that you then should worry about to spend the money/from the money or not. In essence, spend from it, but with sense, putting into consideration the calculation that your account needs to remain healthy for reapplication purposes just in case. Keep your account running as normal, spend from it, deposit to it, etc.

Thanks for your suggestions, really appreciate.

About the account, I was told that the money I will spend during the trip should remain in the account till decision made. That they use to call bank to confirm balance on the account.

Did you mean I can empty the account without having any negative impact on their decision?

Thanks

Hello,
I apply at TLC Ikeja, I got mail that the processing will take 15 days and this has lapse.

When I track my application, it still at the stage "Received by UKVI". What should I do because I want to spend money in the bank account submitted for application.

Thanks

The infamous and insightful Page 1 has all the info you need.

Good one. But bro, while it's good to be confident, do not underestimate the test. Even overly experienced English speakers have been humbled by Mr. IELTS.

Right now, I already picked out your "gbagaun!" in the bolded. No pun intended bro. Chin up! You will scale through. Cheers!

Thanks for the correction, anyway the forum is not formal and can also figure out more grammatical error myself.

I don't underestimate the test, I just love to have confidence in myself. Will try it out.

Thanks, @smslive2 the links help.

Hello guru in the house.
Just aware of this forum, am about to pay a lawyer in Canada for the Express entry program before I search on Google and found out that I can do it myself.

I got BSc in Accounting and HND in Business administration. My wife got HND in Office Technology Management. I have more than 10 years working experience and my wife got two. English is not a problem to me as I speak on phone with all these white men almost everyday and have ever write the British council employment test with pass mark in the past.

Base of this profile, I need honest assessment from experience guru in the house. Should I give it a trial with my Accounting skill?

I will also appreciate a link to read to guide me through profile submission.

Sorry if this questions sounds somehow, am a newbie here.
Thanks

Issokay bro, I will advice that you tell the VO that your wife is pregnant, possibly you can mention the months old for clarity, then make him/her understand that you don't intend to have your child in the US.. .shikena

Thanks bro.
Any other contribution please?

Oga sir oh, the Bible says you shall know the truth and the truth will set you free, this contradicts your first question above oh.. .whats your intent gangan bikonu
Bros,i know say madam go born there when you get the visa, so abeg admit she's pregnant.... ..you should have asked before the application, there's a lie that will tarnish someone's credibility and will take you years to have a clean shit..

I read your response above, am not a liar and will never be.
I didn't know the process and didn't know about this thread not after I submitted my application.

The truth is that, if granted the VISA, I will be going alone becuse I can't afford her delivery fee there (hustling level). I was just told that its better I apply with her since we just got married.
In a nutshell, I was misguided during the application not to declare much info about my wife and can't question the person that guide me throughout the application because I knew he knows better than me.
Hope I clear everything now.
Thanks for your support.

Your question is basically: should we misrepresent or not? What do you think? I suggest you ponder on it and answer Sir.
Stuff like this it's the reason why young couples are often denied visas.... VOs finish reading these questions and just assume every body is lying.

I intend saying things like this before the VO ask, "We are going for honeymoon, though my wife is pregnant but we don't intend having our baby in US"
Does this make sense?
Thanks

Hello room,
I started reading this thread after submitting my application with my wife.
My intended visit is honeymoon, my wife is pregnant but did not disclose in the application.
Should she disclose this during interview or not? Interview is next month.
Though planning to have the baby there if things work out.
Your suggestions is highly appreciated.
