OP sir, oro sunukun, oju sunukun la fi wo.. simply the whole process requires deep thought.
Selecting VP requires patience. Look at what Late UMYA put us into now, given us a clueless VP..the rest is history. God forbid GMB fate won't be like Late UMYA. He will finish his tenure(s) insha Allah IJN, a good VP is like a good president.

LeOstrich: OFFCOURSE IT MAKES SENSE.
The airforce would have been mobilized to a mission in the northeast or an emergency landing may have been declared.
Is the airport owned by Buhari? Besides every flight plan must include an alternative aerodrome.
Aircrafts are routinely diverted where safety of security concerns arise All ended on your speculations. No fight, Buhari has moved on.. After all GEJ's title does not end as "life president" of FRN. |
Politics › Re: Buhari’s Aircraft Barred From Landing At Makurdi Airport by abacus(m): 10:37am On Nov 27, 2014 |
LeOstrich: The Makurdi airfield is a military air field and permision to use the runway is at the discretion of the Commandant.
The airfield is used by the airforce in staging missions in the NE.
what if there was a mission on going or an emergency declared by one of the airforce jets and the runway was cleared for emergency landing?
Is ayatollah General Monkey Blood's life and his politricking more important than a pilot's life?
By the way, who give am money to charter jet?
yeye dey smell. Let him hit the roads like the millions of Nigerians that cant afford to charter a jet.
useless noise maker Does this make any sense to you? According to him, “the flight was earlier granted landing permission but we were all surprised when half an hour to his arrival a counter directive was issued mid-flight thereby forcing the aircraft to head to Abuja. |

What are the existing laws and what are our law makers doing to update the laws we have.....I find it nauseating when there is an issue and the next name we hear or see is GEJ. What we should understand is that Nigeria is like a team....u have the attackers, midfielders ,the goal keepers and the defenders....GEJ cannot be the executive, judiciary, and legislative arm @ the same time........if the legislature doesn't produce laws, what do u expect the judiciary to prosecute with? And if the judiciary is presented with an ill presented case do you expect the judge to perform magic.?? The same thing when keyamo and the EFCC wanted to prosecute a corrupt individual they weren't prepared and their case was thrown out.....please let's direct our anger to who it should be directed to..... Point of correction.. GEJ can be executive, legislature and judiciary. 1. Salami case 2. And recently Tambuwal case. And many others I submit here. Thanks. |

atlwireles: How many defenders came before Justice Ademola in last 5 years, most still sitting in jail awaiting a court date. Yet Justice Ademola has not struck out the cases for want of diligent prosecution. Somehow, he has the temerity to dump this case within 4 months. A mass murderer, brought back to Nigeria, after he fled the country.
We joke with ourselves in this country, pretending to stand for something, when most of us truly stand for nothing. Only in Nigeria will a judge allow such a defendant walk, without hearing a single evidence about his crime. In such a high profile case.
At every level of government, this fake Nation will remain a joke.
For want of diligent prosecution You expect him to kill or jail an 'innocent' man? Look at yourself, can you stand being lied on? |

Marvin67: I will never commend an act of indiscipline. What is wrong is wrong. Two wrongs can't make one right. Those reps showed a great deal of indiscipline to the world, and I wonder why people commend them. The police was also wrong in their act and I feel the IG of police should be questioned (David Mark has already summoned him). Howcome no one is considering that the senate president was also delayed by the police for about an hour before he was eventually allowed in? Howcome some people fail to realise that the reps shut out were both from the pdp and apc? Will the pdp shut out it's own members if it had plans to impeach Tambuwal on that day? Is it right for members of the house of reps to shout at, abuse, and even assault the Senate president ? My fellow nairalanders, don't allow party affiliation cloud our sense of judgement. Let's judge based on facts. The police was wrong, the lawmakers were wrong, and we can't say it was an order from the presidency because there are no facts backing that. You need a lesson will rather transport you to a state in South west. Any where u are be it Lagos, London, US, Kano, Owerri,Jos etc get your acts to Lagos first. Proceed to Ibadan through Lagos Ibadan Expressway. Then to Ikire then Ife bye-pass then Ilesha then Iloko ijesha then to Ijebu-Ijesha then to Esa-oke then to Efon Alaye all to Ado Ekiti. Go ask how 7 HOR members impeached a sitting speaker. The same was deterred by that action you watched in that clip. Cheers Nigeria will flourish again. |
