Politics › Re: NA Bombardment In SW,FACTS and the position of the igbos. by abacus(m): 11:12am On Jul 31, 2016 |
Thewrath: Firstly,as usual,I am responsible for how I write and not how you understand or interpret.
Why are there no pics yet? We all know the Nigerian army and pictures are like bread and butter, they have pictures of killed boko haram terrorists, the Shiite Muslims killed during during protest and more.so why are there no pictures yet of the 114 and over another 100 militants killed during the air strikes?
There is only one possible reason I can think of why there are no pictures yet: -it's obvious(in Emmanuella's voice)that Nigeria army have as usual gone to kill/displace innocent yorubas militants and other inhabitants of these communities, and are ashamed to upload pics.i know civilians always get caught in crossfires, but in a professional operation, the damage on innocent civilians are minimal, maybe a few deaths but certainly not the majority.but I can't say thesame for our NA.
Misconceptions of yoruba youths: I actually do not support the activities of the militants, but I read online how these set of people boast/beat their chest about how they will deal with the militants, maybe because there is a mere commissioner assisting buhari or that a yoruba general ordered the air strikes or that they voted for change....make no mistake, buhari will not bait an eyelid to turn Lagos into a war zone as long as oil is involved, not even even osibanjo,or your obas can or will be able to do anything about it.my advice is pray and hope the militants give up,stop beating your chest, your people are dying.
The position of the igbos This particular is just funny,I don't know about the opinion if my brothers in SE,but I will attempt speak for myself and others in SS. Firstly: -Whose land is the battlefield-yoruba's -Whose land is being polluted-yoruba's -Whose people are being killed/displaced-yorubas. -Who is going to suffer military presence/intimidation-yorubas. -Whose economic activities will be crumbled-yorubas. -Who would be used as target practice-yorubas. are the militants igbos-No are the helicopters,guns,pipelines,igbos?-No And many many more....
So why in the midst of crisis in your own land, you still find a way to drag the igbos in,they have absolutely nothing to loose...it's a win-win for the igbos, the average Igboman does not give a hoot what happens outside igboland,he may still not care even if it happens in igboland but doesn't affect his business. so why will the igbos be pained/worried that you are fighting militancy when they have a much bigger problem to deal with.
When you guyz were rejoicing during the killing of unarmed biafra protesters,I bet you did not know a day like this will come when your supposed peaceful land will be turned into a war zone.well you shouldn't be surprised when others return the favour. I advice you focus on getting rid of these militants and leave the igbos out of your miseries. |

chaloner: nd u didnt ask ur self y cnt OPC handle it. Tinubu nd odas hav sold yoruba land to north I don't use that logic, it's too petty. We are not on the same page. My logic is Militants are criminals and they are infiltrating into SW, sooner they cajole guys around that area to join hands with them, before you know it, it will turn to menace. Ati kekere la ti pa eka iroko... So let handle it before it become bigger problem. Thanks. |

Progressive01: Without much ado, the guy should simply decamp to AKPUGA.
We need a virile opposition and PDP just isn't cut out for that.
Events like this presents us with ample opportunity to understand what the agitation for Biafra stands for- it is nothing but a political tool with which to blackmail the government.
Why on sweet little earth should a people who clamour, even with the shedding of blood, for secession still show so much interest in who becomes the governor of any state within an entity out of which the desire to get??
How does one reconcile both ideologies which seem to run parallel to each other??
Such hideous hypocrisy is unheard of in human history honestly. Yoruba man will say 'wa se re' |

None, instead, government is dragging its feet in their own cases. You know why? Media trial and startling evidence can not convict any accused, hard evidence does. Tell those you mentioned not to fall sick again or ask for court jurisdiction in.another court etc.. Judiciary is another problem here.. God bless Nigeria. |

Now I know why Yoruba are called cowards, it's for reasons like this one.
Yoruba are just ha! It's taking everything in me to not "lose it". What exactly is our problem? What are we afraid of? Why do we like to suffer fools gladly? Pure definition of cowards. Who is going to catch us if we refuse to be A push over? We have to now stand behind order people in our land. What happened to us?
I'm thinking of doing a petition to either get him to rescind the appointment or we start campaigning against him from now for his re-election. How can we say we own Lagos with the way our leaders keep putting Yoruba interests at the back burner? What could be so difficult with "Yoruba's interest first"? Point of correction, Yorubas are not coward. Face your rant on whom you quoted, Your sin is your generalized your opinion? I know of two presently that are not coward, Ambode and I. |

Today, Nigerians are better informed and the IPAD youths are vindicated, from fuel scarcity to dollar scarcity to drop in electricity production etc Nigerians have suffered the worse form of economic deprivation.
The same America that supervised the fraud called election elsewhere don't want a Donald Trump what hypocrisy!

lamzybaby: US presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton has narrowly won the Nevada caucuses in the Democratic race for presidential nominee. She is leading with 52% of the vote over her rival Bernie Sanders’ 48%. She had been hoping for a big victory in Nevada where she is popular with Hispanic and minority voters. The Republican primary is also under way in South Carolina, where frontrunner Donald Trump is trying to fend off Texas Senator Ted Cruz. The votes could be key ahead of the “Super Tuesday” round on 1 March. On that day, about a dozen states will choose their Republican and Democratic contenders for the 8 November presidential election, with about a quarter of all nominating delegates up for grabs.
