Politics / Lejja Youth Jubliate As First Telecom Mask Is About To Be Erected In Their Villa by Abadsheddy(m): 10:03pm On Nov 22, 2019
LEJJA, a community in Nsukka local government area, Enugu state, has, for years, suffering without good road and network services in their community.
Life doesn't seems to be easy with people living in the community especially during celebration time like Christmas. They have been calling on government to intervene on the situation but to no avail.
Currently, and luckly to them, different Telecom companies like MTN, GLO, Airtel decided to jointly erect Telecom mask in the community. As the time of writing this, work has started in the site allocated for the project.
Their youth are jubliating and celebrating as that is the first morden development that come to their community. They are happy because they will no longer be looking for where to make or answer call when such project is completed.
Politics / A Failed Nation by Abadsheddy(m): 9:43pm On Oct 25, 2019
A FAILED NATION.

So many years ago, when I was religious addict; when, as a Bible scholar, I chosed Nations in the scripture as examples of how Nigeria will rise to greatness, I have prayed uncountably that Nigeria should be a great nation.

That time, I don't even know what failure mean talkless of believing that Nation(s) can fail. During Charismatic night vigil, I prayed litany of rosary, I trecked a far distance on my knees, I went to mountains under the sun and in the rain praying for my dear country.

I was compatriot.

Praying, "Ekpere Maka Nigeria No n' Nukwu Nsogbu" by Catholic church was my daily obligation.
Upon all these, and with the prayers of concerned Nigerians, my dear Nation has become an epitome of failure not only to Africa but to the world. The God(s), instead of answering our prayers, seems to have turned against us. So many Nigerians are tired of waiting for the fulfilment of 2015
political prophetic message from an adoration ministry, some where in Enugu. I am tired too. Wether the message is divine or not is a question Nigerian progress should answer.

Why I write is not separable from why my nation failed. It is not far from why Nigeria is chosen globally as a topic of research on failed Nations.

On the 1st of these month (October), a nation endowed with enviable natural resources celebrated 59 years of failure. They celebrated blood shed by herdsmen, bandit and Boko Haram. They celebrated Joblessness of about 50 million graduate. They celebrated high rate of kidnapping. They celebrated bad roads in all states. They celebrated ASU strike. They celebrated hardship. They celebrated inflation without increasing workers salaries.
Undoubtedly, and bad enough, Nigeria celebrated age not achievements.

There is no hope!

Many talented youth are leaving the country. Economy has crumbled. Crime has become the choice of those who don't have opportunity to leave the country. Graduates have gone back to barrow pushing. Political class are embezzling in billion dollar! Few are getting richer and many can no longer afford one square meal a day. Prostitution and yahooing have become our normal and blessed venture. Indigens are no longer smiling. Suicide has become the easiest and shortest way to give our mind rest.

Nigeria has failed!

The worst is that the problem is no longer from leaders only. The followers are now more bad than the leaders. Everything has become contagious.

I can say that Nigeria is too big for Nigerians to handle. I wasn't aware when we are under colonial rule but I believe those days are better. I suggest that we should hand our nation back to our colonial Masters.

At this juncture, I don't know what I should chose as my prayer point. I don't even know if there is need for prayer again. I am not too sure if it makes sense to ask someone to pray for this nation. The nation has failed! Take it or leave it.
But whoever care to make it better should begin by him or herself.
Jobs/Vacancies / Npower: Fedral Government To Disengage Over 200,000 Npower Beneficiary. by Abadsheddy(m): 7:34pm On Oct 15, 2019
The Guardian Nigeria Newspaper –

FG to “disengage” over 200,000 N-power beneficiaries
By Timileyin Omilana
15 October 2019 | 10:42 am
Nigerian government is working on how to “disengage”
over 200,000 beneficiaries of the government social intervention programme dubbed N-Power, an official has said.

Maryam Uwais, senior special assistant to the President on social investment,
in an interview with Nigerian Television Authority (NTA)
said she in talks with the finance ministry on the next plan.

“We are trying to see how we can address some of these gaps through these N-power beneficiaries that are meant to be disengaged by end of the year,” Uwais said.

“We are looking out loans to be made available to them,
it has not be finalized yet with the finance ministry,” she added.

In 2017, former senior special assistant to the President on N-Power Scheme,
Afolabi Imoukhuede, said no fewer than 200,000 out of 500,000
youth-targeted had been empowered for the first batch of the scheme in 2016.

Although the 2016 beneficiaries were due to be released in 2018, the Nigerian government had since said it had a ‘big plan’ for the beneficiaries.

“The 2016 beneficiaries will proceed into an enhancement programme as you continue to give your service and earn your monthly stipend,” the government said in a statement in October 2018.

The federal government noted that “the details of the N-Power Enhance will gladden” and hinted that the enhancement plan is a “multi-sector, multilayered and multi-pronged” one.

The government plans however have remained unclear.

Last week, the 2016 N-power beneficiaries observed a message on their personal dashboard on the N-power portal.

Making of Champions a model for others to emulate, says Dare

The message outlined that the beneficiaries have options of transitioning to community police, teaching, farming and mobile agents and access to 100,000 naira loan to start a community business.

The mobile money agent tagged SANEF (Shared Agent Network Expansion Facility) is powered by Central Bank of Nigeria.

Curiously, no official statement about the transition yet.

However, some volunteers have expressed difficulties in activating their options, while some others beneficiaries have been able to activate their options.

The N-Power Volunteer Corps is part of the ruling All Progressives Congress’ Social Investment Programmes, SIP, under which 500,000 graduates had so far been recruited.

It is currently in operation in the 36 states of Nigeria. The main thrust of the N-Power scheme is to harness Nigeria’s young demography through appropriate skill development, providing a structure for large scale and relevant work skills acquisition and development, and linking outcomes to fixing inadequate public services and stimulating the larger economy.

Beneficiaries are engaged in different areas of public service, including education (N-Teach), health (N-Health), agriculture (N-Agro), building/construction (N-Build). Beneficiaries are paid a monthly stipend of N30,000 during their period of engagement.

Politics / There Was A President Called Atiku Abubakar. by Abadsheddy(m): 6:21pm On Sep 11, 2019
Like every other man born to achieve greatness, greatness has no option than to be his errand boy. Like every other living creature, he keeps aspiring to be more__ to say the least, Nigerian President.

If you ask me to mention a politician, so influential and so rich, that can buy his country and, even, everything in it, I will, just like nursery kids singing 36 states and their capitals, shout "Alhaji Atiku Abubakar___ The Waziri Of Adamawa".

If money is everything, of course it is, he could have bought Nigerian Presidency and, even, his former political boss __ Olusegun Obasanjo long time ago. If it is about being smart, President Mohammed Buhari could have be with his cow in Daura by now. You can ask Good Luck Jonathan how far.

If you ask, "how come he has not yet clinched Nigerian Presidential seat?" Na who I go ask? May be his former boss__OBJ.

If you insist in knowing who worn 2019 presidential election if not him, I will show you the road to presidential election tribunal for an answer.

If next question is, can he still achieve his presidential ambition? I can direct you to ask his age.

But, what next?

I think he has tried his best. It is time to rest. This should be his last wish. It is no longer his faults.

The fault is from the institution of Nigerian corruption of which he help to build. It is from the inconclusive system of doing things in his father land where he was vice president for 8 years amidst being a former governor of his state. It is from instability in his political realignment. The law of karma from Jonathan's fate is on revenge.

I don't think his vision to rebrand Nigeria should die with his political ambition today. If he really mean the business, he should try apolitical way of doing things. He should use his machinery of changes outside politics. It is obvious that becoming a president in a country some called "Zoo" has become one of his dreams unfulfilled.

Indeed There was a president called Atiku Abubakar.

Go and fast and pray o. Repercussions aren't often immediate. Originally it was meant for beautification. But now, it's a symbol of identity, used for protection, enchantment and transfer of virtue. You'd have to hope hers was for beautification.
I'm just surprised how you didn't see that thing before doing what you did.
They sell it now a lot, teaching ladies how to use it to enchant a man, draw virtue and ensure protection from ritualists.

Oga, go and pray o. No intention to scare you or to emphasize too much on holiness. But these things affect people on a long term basis...
Whatever I her intention I don't know.
But the girl though.
She fall too easily.
