It's more prevalent in a particular area of Imo and Anambra bordering Orashi river and mother valley not because the people support them but because the terrain favours easy hiding and guerilla warfare. The canopy forest makes precision bombing difficult and the quake sand makes it inaccessible to armoured vehicles. Those who started the criminal attacks weren't indigenes of Imo and Anambra but later succeeded in recruiting jobless youths and societal misfits to increase their population. The new strategy by Governor Uzodinma of Imo State will push them away soon using the villagers that know the terrain very well to fish them out. 1 Like

Depends on your home size and standard of living. Do you buy ice-cream, Yoghurt, Suya, Shawarma and Pizza for your kids? Do you go out to playgrounds, Malls and launch out? I do 700k monthly and I know very well my wife adds close to half of that if not more for us to continue as we used to before inflation. This is without cost of fueling cars, paying domestic staffs, electricity and communication bills etc which could surpass another 500k. So we should be talking about 1.5 Million devalued Naira as against 300k we spent monthly as at 2022. |

Easier said than done. No leader imtends to fail but combined factors make success highly elusive. Tinubu would like to solve the insecurity in Nigeria and he is trying his best but right now he must have realized Buhari and Jonathan were no fools. The major reason I will take Obi over most politicians is not because he will perform magic but instead he will reduce flamboyancy and authoritarianism in leadership. Buhari is a decent and humble man but he is also not a good leader as he passed responsibility to others who stole and spoilt his government. However every statistics points to his Government performing far better that Tinubu despite being faced with worse global economic crisis. Imagine if Tinubu met COVID-19 how bad Nigeria would have been. |
