Politics / Re: Why Can't Every State In Nigeria Have A Geometric Power Plant??? by Abagworo(m): 8:28am On Mar 11 |
Many States already have power plants but the national distribution method is what stands Geometric out. Geometric is the only one allowed to distribute its own generated power directly to consumers instead of feeding the National grid. |

PointZerom: If they were paid 100% then what Umahi is doing would have made sense but what Government does is mobilize you phase by phase and mind you the first so called mobilization is where the contractor pays kickbacks from after which he has to source funds from bank at certain interest rate. If there's delay in payment after completion of one phase then his debt will continue to pile up. |

People profiting from the war will never allow its end. As Africans we should also be aware that an end to the war means the start of another war in Africa to enrich the weapons manufacturers. 1 Like |

Mkst laymen don't know what contractors go through. Umahi himself knows cause he was a contractor until he became Governor and ironically most of the roads he built with cement are nothing to write home about while he condemns the job of others who are owed after being mobilized with Dollar at 400 Naira. |

Owerri is more beautiful than most Nigerian cities but falls short of international standard. At least no tricycle or Okada in the city makes it sane to drive in. 2 Likes

Once insecurity is fully tackled Owerri will be back as the fastest growing city in Nigeria. The hospitality industry suffered serious setback since 2021 after the prison break. |

gidgiddy: That your community wasn't displaced doesn't mean all communities are at peace. The entire areas of Orsu in Imo and Anambra were displaced with most of the people taking refuge in cities and deserting their villages. Why was this operation successful? It was successful because the Government for the first time involved the villagers and local vigilante in the planning and execution of the raids. The glory should as well be extended to the communal efforts of the Orsu people who have been victims of unnecessary violence and also to Governor of Imo State and Anambra State who finally agreed to let the villagers handle the security challenge in conjunction with security agents 1 Like |

Adamawa as a whole was made beautiful by nature but seem somehow off the happening parts of Nigeria. Plateau is more recognized in Nigeria for her natural beautiful landscape but in reality whatever beauty you find in Plateau is 10 times more in Adamawa. 6 Likes |

Sometimes I wonder if people think from their behind. Does he expect everyone of 230 million to be registered and have a meter? Majority of our population is under 18 and likely living with parents or under someone . Households in Nigeria are estimated to be 43 million with majority in rural areas. 4 Likes |

Economic problems persist across the world but the most important thing is to manage it in such a way that the impact won't create more poverty in your country. What Tinubu suggested in that interview is what he should have done but he chose to do the opposite when he assumed power. 1 Like |

These pictures are doctored to look different from reality. The only part of Owerri with rusted roof is just Ama Hausa which appears in 2 of the pictures but not as large as it looks. The road was under construction when the picture was taken hence showing laterite at the edges. 4 Likes |

Politics / Re: Wale Edun: 8 Years Of Printing Money Without Productivity Caused Inflation by Abagworo(m): 11:57pm On Mar 06 |
So why was Tinubu team against Emefiele withdrawing the printed money and sabotaged his attempts to control it through cashless policy? The reason for inflation is because the present Government removed subsidy and floated Naira which devalued Naira and brought back even more subsidy. |
