Igbos are everywhere is a fact. But millions of imo indigenes live in Onitsha and Awka. Fact. There are more population of imo state indigenes that live in Onitsha than the population of imo state indigenes that live in Owerri. This is a shame lol

Based on credible census there are more from Anambra in Imo than Imo in Anambra because Imolites are mostly civil servants while their Anambra brothers are mostly traders. Northern part of Imo State mostly Orlu zone and partly Okigwe are also traders mostly dealing in medicine, very wealthy and own most of Awada and Headbridge. They are too few to compare with the Anambra selling spareparts and provisions in Imo.

So you want to be a baby because another person behaves like a baby. Common, be a man that you are control your emotions.

Chino, it's just nairaland, we cannot because of abagrowo now and be disgracing the Igbo race. You are over 45, at this age I expect you to be advising young people like us to always protect our heritage, no matter what.

I understand that you are uncontrollably attached to Anambra state but bare it in mind that if Nigeria divides today, Anambra cannot stand alone, you will most likely be in the same country with other Igbos. If Nigeria divides, a state called Anambra ceases to exist, you don't realize this.

I also want you to understand that before the late 1980s, Anambra didn't exist. Before 1960, Nigeria didn't exist but Igbos existed. This thing you are doing is fictional battle created by the Nigerian government.
I expect you to know all these, in the real sense, Anambra is really not a thing, it's a Nigerian contraption. What brings all of us together is that we are igbos, that is more important that the states created by Nigeria leader who's probably not a n Igbo person.

Let's be wise.

To him anybody not from Anambra State has no right to comment on Anambra State issue. He knows the truth but is just catching cruise

This looks like rustic desert. No wonder imo state is backward, useless, worthless and barren. That’s why imo state indigenes that live in SE prefer to live in Onitsha, Enugu, Awka and even Abakaliki. Imo state is a failed state

Igbos are everywhere but the most dispersed by States is Anambra followed by Imo because both States are over populated and have less land for farming.

The issue with you is that you hate the truth so much. Everyone knows that AWKA is London compare to the glorified village Owerri. Today , Aba is even better than Owerri . Let your glorified village Owerri have decent infrastructures like these while before you start talking in public

Compare Awka with Orlu. Soludo is the first Governor trying to build something albeit same old Nigerian style of open gutters without landscaping and environmental beautification. Owerri is better than Awka but still nonsense to me cause of the type of Nigerian roads.

Everywhere in Anambra State is practically becoming modern cities
Every small town in Europe is like city because the small towns have all the social amenities in bigger cities.

You may wish to build Owerri two to three deck cities, but let flood carry away rest of Imo state.
Onye oshi, Barawo, Ole. The thief logic that you people have used to make Imo state become a state with only one modern city - Owerri is state capital naaa. Stupid logic.
Onye oshi. Don't reply me again. I don't want to reply to primitive dimwits.

Even Awka is yet to be a modern city to scale of Abakaliki and you're saying modern. Please only Abuja has semblance of mordern city in Nigeria while the rest of our large cities are just cities by nomenclature.

This is just what Obidents are saying now that Obi would have put measures in place before removing subsidy when Obi said emphatically that he will remove subsidy "immediately without wasting time, it has to go".
They both said they will remove subsidy and float the naira.
Obi said, his own which I remember very well that "market forces will determine the value of the naira".
Why twisting narratives now?
Why??

All candidates unanimously suggested subsidy removal but none including Tinubu said they would float the Naira. Floating means allowing your currency value to be determined by speculators not devaluation

Look at the state teaching hospitals in Anambra and Imo state.

Imo state has a poultry farm as a teaching hospital. Imo state is a failed state.

1&2 Imo state university teaching hospital

3&4 Anambra university teaching hospital

Now be the judge lol

No difference between both. Mediocre at best

This is Anambra state university teaching hospital Awka. Imo state has almost non existent state university teaching hospital. Imo state students goes to Anambra for teaching practice .

Look at Absuth which is befitting not the glorified secondary school building with zinc we have in Anambra and Imo. Igbos should always go for the best and not praise nonsense.

Nnamdi Azikiwe university teaching hospital in Anambra state is the best , most equipped and most advanced teaching hospital in igboland. Most imo state indigenes seek good medical treatment in Anambra because there’s almost no good hospital in imo state .

Anambra is the most developed Igbo state. If you no longer ga gbuo onwe gi

Federal Government cheated you and you are praising a glorified secondary school just to feel good. Check other Teaching Hospitals

This is Abia State but I'm posting it to show the minimum standard every internal roads in Southeastern cities should look like. I praised Ikpeazu for doing this and I'm glad to see Otti has started doing it too. Gutters shouldn't be open except they are arterial canals for large volume of water linking the river while all pther smaller drainages link to them. Sidewalks are basic necessity for every populated settlement.

https://energydayng.com/2023/11/24/waltersmith-refinery-in-imo-achieves-record-production-of-nearly-600m-litres-of-petroleum-products-since-2020/

Isa said, “We have customers from as far as Sokoto and from all over the country. It is obvious to us that the current capacity is so limited. That is why we are working very hard to conclude the next phase and ramp up the capacity.

“We expect Phase Two to come onstream by June 2025. Our target is to achieve 40,000bpd capacity in the shortest possible time and that is where we are headed,” Isa said.

Oladapo Filani, CEO Waltersmith Petroman Oil said, “Between the Final Investment Decision (FID) and coming on stream of the Phase One project was between 18 – 24 months and we see ourselves reproducing that for Phase Two, which is a replica and an improvement on the learnings of what we achieved with Phase One”, said.

Sen. Lokpobiri, Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Oil), in his comment about the facility, expressed confidence in the operations of the Waltersmith Refinery and pledged his full support and that of the government for the expansion plans of their refinery project.

EnergyDay’s check showed that the refinery has been a stable source of all the various petroleum products for the domestic market since its commissioning in 2020.

I'm at a crossroad towards making a decision of either staying back or moving to PH.

I've jst been transferred, bt the truth is, where I'm currently at, my 60k salary is well manageable.

Though, I dont have problems adapting to most of the cities I've been to, and will also love to move down there. But owning to the present economic situation, is it worth I move ? Is it a trap ?.

Aside accommodation which my company has, Can I take care of myself in PH with my 60k allawee ?

PH based please, I need ur opinions, as I still have option to decline, as such, your views will be of much help at this time.

Yes you can as long as you are single, cook your own meal and do not pay for transportation and electricity bill.

If you put these solid road infrastructures in Aba or Onitsha they will become comparable to international cities but nature has a way of doing her thing. Uyo without multistorey houses and wealthy people is blessed with oil money enough to build roads, Stadia, highrise blocks, world class worship centers and flyovers where they are not needed.

This is what is called expansionism which all Nigerians unanimously ganged up to accuse Igbos of simply because they buy land and build home wherever their business is sited. Ironically Igbos have never forcefully claimed any territory that isn't Igbo and forcefully carried arms to subdue the indigenous people.

I don't know why some Southwesterners think Ibadan is developed because a large expanse of land was wasted on short houses with zinc not even aluminum. Even people in South Africa, Zimbabwe, Ghana and Kenya use Ibadan to make mockery of Nigeria. In Nigeria only Abuja and Lagos deserve to be addressed as cities. Southeastern cities are generally more modern with good housing than others but the problem has remained roads. If Government and the people put more efforts on roads and beautification Southeast will not look like Africa .
