The National Progressive councilors forum of Nigeria comprising of APC councilors only have expressed their sincere gratitude to the nomination of former Governor of Kano State HE Abdullahi Umar Ganduje (OFR)) by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR).

The chairman of the forum Hon Musiliu Yusuf Ali who coincidentally is also from Kano State led some of the Councilors' to HE A. Ganduje to present an endorsement letter and to reaffirm the forum assurance on his nominee based on political sagacity as a grassroot politician who understands the antics of party politics and efficiency in human resource management.

It was also noted that the forum is highly optimistic with leadership of PBAT in conjunction with the new party chairman coming on board and are willing to give all it takes to work in hand with the party (APC) principles and policies.

However, the party chairman H.E Mai Mala Buni Governor, yobe state adviced members of the forum to discharge their duties in accordance with the parties ethos/law. He also thanked all invitees for the support shown towards the party.

The acting chairman of the All progressives Congress (APC) in Oshodi Isolo local government, Hon Saheed Animashaun has described the write up on the internet of the death of a man during the just concluded primary election in the local government as the handiwork of a "failed chairmanship aspirant" who wants to discredit the process since he couldn't win the election.

Hon. Animashaun made this known on Saturday at the Akinniku Secretariat of the party while fielding questions from members of the first estate of the realm that visited the party office to verify the claim.

He said contrary to the claim of the failed aspirant, the election was peaceful in all the 7 wards of the local government, as party faithfuls trooped out en masse to elect their candidates for their respective wards as councillors as well as the chairmanship flag bearer in the forthcoming local government election in the state.

According to the astute politician "it's so sad that an aspirant who failed at the primary could be instigating falsehood to discredit the process. For the sake of clarity , there was no single incident of violence before, during and after the primary elections. Members freely chose their candidates without molestation from any quarter. Ours is a democratic party and all our actions are in tandem with democratic ethos."

Continuing " there are three police divisions in the local government where discerning members of public can verify the falsehood of this aspirant. For the umpteenth time, there was no incident or fracas as witnessed in some local government areas of the state, talk less of death. It's on this note that I want to sound a note of warning to desperate pseudo politician masquerading as true progressive to desist from running down the party all in his morbid attempt to discredit the process that has just been concluded peacefully."

The party chieftain also commended members of the party in the local government for conducting themselves peacefully and responsibly during the primary election, promising that the party will always be ready to avail them the platform to actualise their political dreams

Three aspirants in the race for the chairmanship of Oshodi Isolo local Government on Wednesday threw in the towel and collapsed their campaign structures into team Anularigba of Otunba Kehinde Adeola Almaroof Oloyede.

The trio who have agreed to work with the team Anularigba of Otunba Oloyede are, Hon. Biodun Ogundimi, Hon Murtala Williams and Hon Kayode salako who promised to ensure the emergence of Otunba Kehinde Oloyede on Saturday as candidate of the ruling party in the local government..

They all eulogised the symbol of team Anularigba for embarking on issue based campaign rather than personality attacks as being displayed by some of the aspirants, stressing that the progress and development of Oshodi is paramount to them , and that they see Otunba Oloyede being passionate about it and that they are ready to support him in realizing a better and greater Oshodi.

In his response, Otunba Oloyede popularly called kendoo thanked them for the confidence reposed in him and promised not to let them down when he mounts the saddle.

He stated that a better Oshodi will be realized under his watch as chairman and that those who have agreed to work with him to ensure success on Saturday won't be disappointed.

In his brief remark , the chairman of National Union of Road Transport workers, Alhaji Musiliu Ayinde Akinsanya ( mc oluomo) who brokered the meeting thanked all of them for their resolve and readiness to work together as a team to win the primary on Saturday.

He saluted the courage of the trio of Hons Ogundimu, Murtala and Salako.

Breaking: Badmus Olajide Ismail (BOI) Disqualified By Screening Committee For Failure To Present Voter's Card.

Badmus Olajide Ismail, who is an aspirant in the forthcoming Local Government election in Oshodi/Isolo has just been disqualified by the APC Screening Committee for failure to meet up with basic requirements. According to an impeccable source in ACME, the reasons for the disqualification are:

1. Inability to present his Voter's card during the screening exercise without cogent reason for this failure.

2. Failure to resigned his employment as a civil servant before picking the form as enshrined in the constitution.

3. Inability to present APC membership card of Oshodi-Isolo Local Government where he wants to contest.

At the start of this race, Kendoo and his team have broken the electionnering journey into 3 phases with the bus stopping at Oyetayo. First is the screening exercise ( which had be done and dusted), the second is the primaries and the third and the last being the election.

It was an atmosphere of fun and happiness as the incoming LG chairman:Otunba Kehinde Oloyede Almoroof (Kendoo) and Alhaji Musiliudeen Ayinde Akinsanya “Mc Oluomo Chairman NURTW Lagos state ”distributed the 2nd batch of the Ramadan package to Oshodi residents in preparation for the Eld-Fitri at Jalisco stadium, Oshodi.

The crowd was massive and mind blowing as usual, Notable leaders and elders of the party that attended the august occasion, both from the Justice and Mandate camps, were too much to mention including the market women also the Hausa and Odigboh are fully represented

It was an event like never before because the crowd was massive and the level of maturity, love, support and orderliness shown by the people was top-notch.

Otunba Kehinde Oloyede Almoroof (Kendoo) appreciated the people for their time and equally used the opportunity to roll out his lofty plans and manifestoes to the good people of Oshodi upon resuming offce. He urged the people to be steadfast because victory is in sight and it is just a matter of time.

There have been some rumours being peddled around that some elements are plotting to impose a political nonentity as L.G. chairman of Oshodi-Isolo Local Government in the forthcoming elections.

We have gathered that these elements are running from piller to post in order to actualize their wild goose-chase.

Seeing the present political calculations and political gladiators, they know they have lose out totally, hence, they want to follow the back door to actualize their nefarious motive by presenting one Mr Ibrahim Badmus, son to the late Alhaji Badmus, of blessed memories.

We have equally been informed that these people are so desperate and mischievous that they went through a great deal in order to pressurize Mr. Ibrahim simply because they know he's a political novice, and they will prey on his political ignorance and be controlling him.

This is a person that neither stays in Oshodi nor know anything about the political and economic topography of the area. This is also a person that could not afford to purchase the chairmanship form on his own or had ever embarked on any political journey/activities in his life. Even when his father was alive, he was nowhere to be found.

In order for them to have a firm grip of the L.G. council however, Hon. Shokunle (member, Lagos State House of Assembly) has made a pact with him and donated 1million in order for him to purchase his form. Hon. Obasa (out-going leader, Oshodi-Isolo Local Government) and Hon. Abiola Oladipupo .(Secretary to the L.G.) also contributed #500,000 each after signing a pact on how they will share the revenue of the L.G. should he emerge.

We however want to sound a strong note of warning to the concern persons to wake up from their slumber and stop living in fools paradise. Oshodi will never accepts imposition. Their plans have failed even before it hatched. We equally want to put the leadership of APC on notice that a political novice will never be accepted. A person that does not live in Oshodi, that does not know anything about Oshodi, that has no political history in Oshodi and has never contributed a penny to the success or activities of the party will never be accepted. He is yet to pay his dues.

The people that have shown interests before now and they have paid their dues to the party should be allowed to go to the primaries.

To Hon. Shokunle, Oshodi will never forget the 1M you gave with the aim of imposing on the people and controlling their resources through your political stooge. Hon. Obasa and Hon. Abiola Oladipupo, Oshodi will never forget the 500k each you both contributed to steal the mandate of the people.

We will equally have you remembered that 2023 is just around the corner, Oshodi will pay you back in your own coin. Nemesis will always be there.
