I started sports betting when I was still in secondary school about 2 years ago , i staked 200 then. Fast forward to last year June a friend of mine said I should open an account with sporty I did and that ladies and gentlemen was the beginning of the great depression. I started with small money 100 naira 500 until I started 1k, 5k, 10k, 20k etc when I win I try to stop but I notice that if I stop for the day after winning my mind keeps on focusing on what if I continue I can make more money and even if I don't continue for the day I keep on thinking of betting thought-out the day. If I decide to go back I usually end up losing the money and going to depression. I entered university this year I wanted to quit because I found out that I have lost over 300k to basketball sports betting from June 2022-june 2023 . But at last I continued , when I win the same thing I mentioned above happens that I can't stop thinking about sports betting until I come back and eventually lose everything. I bet with the money my parents give me to feed weekly, so when I lose it I try to manage until the week is over . This has been going on for the past 3 months. When I don't intend on betting I feel at easy for the day. Today I lost the money I suggest to use 20th this month . Please I want advice on what I should do and I am not begging anyone for money. Any advice would be taking.i am 18 years of age

dont listen to whoever tell u that is working strategy in sports bet. the only strategy that works 100% is QUITTING boy quit it before it ruins u completely, quit before u run out of time. im 28years old i started that shit 2021 since that time my life has never been thesame. i thank god i dindnt discover bet untill i graduate. stop it will affect ur studies.

I am 23 and work in a production factory. I’m taking a monthly pay which helps me pay my bills and save some little but recently there have been changes in the company where the Operational manager surcharge worker for silly things.
I was affected this month, I got my pay and about 10% was deducted for unreasonable thing. This affects my mental health and utters my financial plan as the work isn’t easy.
I am certain the owner of the company is not aware, I have plan to meet the Tender my resignation letter but meet the owner and see what he has to say first.

What is your advice for me?
