Have you ever had this good feelings after you have helped someone who can never repay you back? That is what we do in Slum Achievers Foundation(SAF). We are a volunteers oriented organisation focused on child education in the Slum areas of Africa. As Mandela said, " Education is the only way we can change the world" SAF took her humanitarian service to Ijora Badia in Lagos state on the 27th May 2016 (Children's day) to mark the children's day celebration with the indigents. The kids were awesome and friendly, they have been longing for this kind of love and care but they have been neglected for so long, these kids do not have the opportunity the children in VI, Ikoyi, Lekki, or Ikeja have, therefore, we all have to be involved in making sure they are not totally neglected . The schools we visited and distributed educational materials to were Badia primary school, Olojowon Primary school and Ireti Primary school respectively all in Ijora Badia community. Kudos to our volunteers who made the occasion possible by relentlessly making sure we achieved our objectives. we love to have more volunteers who are passionate to see illiteracy eradicated from our land. Great SAF... join our growing volunteers at slumachieversfoundation.org . We want to do more, join us to move Africa to the next level see some of our pictures below...

The truth is, for you to know how successful you are, you 've got to count the number of people that are happy through you. And also, Nelson Mandela once said ' Education is the only weapon we can use to change the world'. these and many more are the drivers of the brains behind this Non Governmental Organisation (NGO) called SLUM ACHIEVERS FOUNDATION (www.slumachieversfoundation.org) . It's an organisation that is primarily focused on improving the educational standard of the indigents living in the slum areas of Africa. It's a new NGO run by a Nairalander who is passionate about these children leaving in the slum areas and always looking forward to making them happy. We have a very wonderful teams too. The Organisation runs a project called "Educate a child Project". The school we went to distribute these books and writing pens is located in Ojo area of Lagos state across the river where the parents are predominantly fishermen. The children in the school didn't have enough materials to make education interesting to them. our government alone can not do it, Let us come together to raise the bar of education in Africa. I will appreciate it if this can make front page. CC: Seun

The poverty in the area is on the high side. Parents can not even afford to send their children to school. I leave in the area, i understand what people are passing tru, the mosquitoes in the area are second to none. Govt alone can not do it people. That is why there is an NGO in the area called Slum Achievers Foundation that is contributing its quota to the Slum areas in the society by giving free education to the indigent children who are ready and able. contact them on slumachieversfoundation at gmail.com |

) Then I carry my bag and go home. The next day, the circle starts again. At the end of the month, my account is credited. I spend it and wait again for another one to enter. The monotonous routine is killing me. I keep asking myself: "How long can I keep this up?"
