There is problem....and I mean big problem...

There is no way he alone could have tried to snatch a rifle from a police man on search operation (Unless he is mad). This is because the police men must have been in a team and not alone, so even if he succeeded in dispossessing the police man of his gun, the colleagues will gun him down.

My brother....The appetite that dogs generally have for slippers and other foot wear baffles me. After spending 28k on a bag of food and 550 naira per tin of the can food, both the Caucasian and the local dog still destroy foot wear......surely, they do it because of a penchant for destroying shoes not hunger!!
