J think its the mate 30 pro that's making me biased. The battery is so good i often forget it needs to be charged so i don't want to go from that to something that'll easily frustrate me. 4xl may be better than 4a but opinions I've seen so far is that it's not great compared to other flagships.

I'll just jejely try a pixel only when i can afford the 6 or have spare cash to just quickly play with the 4xl without making it my daily phone

Thanks. The thing is... I've sworn off midrange chips. Once i see any snapdragon 7** I'm immediately pissed off. I'll just keep chewing my thumbs till I make a decision. I'll be mad at myself if i buy it and the battery is just as bad as everyone says it is but there's a demon that's also whispering that maybe it's not so bad.

I swear I feel like there's a demon that was created specifically for making people misunderstand each other on the Internet. How did "blowing grammar" in that context become interpreted as an attack. You guys have been saying overly complicated things and I wonder if you'll be able to focus and address my simple issue. Where's the controversy?

Anyway, apparently I have nerves of steel so I'm directing you, again, to my question. Any thoughts?

All this grammar that you pipu are blowing here... I hope I'll get a useful answer.

I'm finally going to stick my neck out and try a pixel device even though Google is basically blacklisted as "evil corp" in my mind.

Pixel 5 appears to be crap and pixel 6 is not something I can afford RN so I'm going to pull the trigger on the 4xl. So far it looks like it's a good enough device and I'm sold on the access to software updates but I need user opinions on the battery life. Is it that bad?
