@initialise u must be a small boy for that kind of rubish u just said. who r u to mk assumptions on where am skling? and what the hell is wrong with guys in tho polytechnic? by the way am in uni am about graduating in 2 months time and i definately know what am talking about! i did a freaking course on this shit by a lecturer that is a Dr in Data communications and networking. he was thought by those who invented the so called GSM, CDMA and all other mutple access schemes. if u hv been duped, just accept the fact. Moreover 3G signal isn't just used for Data channels, it is a general upgrade on the network cos it affects the voice channel also. the main thng needed for an internet connection is just an access to the accesspoint. its the configuration on the acespoint that shld determine what signal type to connet to and as we r all experiancing, presently normal lines can only connect to the wap access point. i feel zain is just trying to hv a more organised administration by not integrating all there lines with the same packages cos of congestion and maintainance sakes. i guess u just got educated bro! so pls try not to just open ur mouth thinking u know too much cos all ur recent post hv been on accusing someone of not knowing what he is saying and all that. be a lil bit more matured pls

hey guys !!! abeg enough of this aguements now! we r suppose to help ourselves and not argue over things like this. the fact still remins that there is no such thing as 3G sim cos all sims can conect to any network in that area provided the phone in use allows connection to such networks as 3g and if the 3g network is in ur area. the only restriction possible is that of allowing only somespecific sims to connect to specific accesspoints as we can see with the wa and internet access points. who ever buys a sim that was called 3g sims for some ridiculous price just got maga-ed. end of discussion my brothers

more over , there is nothing like 3G sim when zain no be cdma network. this one na GSM and there is no restriction on the kind of signal the sim connects to. wake up my guy! 've just be maga-ed. well sorry bro, it's meant to happen at least once in a life time

Guys, u ppl in areas where there is edge and 3g, how is the network stability there. i just wan know to clearify my mind say no be the area i dey cos na just grs dey here and na by God's favour the network stays stable.

na ota i dey o!!! but signal is poor for all signals. na only zain dey manageable in this area for now. MTN no dey even work for my room here
