AlBaqir:Al-‘Allaamah al-Mu‘allimi (may Allah have mercy on him) said: There is nothing in this hadith to indicate that Allah created anything on the seventh day except Adam, and there is nothing in the Qur’an to indicate that He created Adam in the first six days; rather this is known to be incorrect. In the verses at the beginning of al-Baqarah which speak of the creation of Adam, and in some reports, there is that which may be understood to mean that there were creatures that lived on the earth before Adam, and that lived for a long time. This may support the view that the creation of Adam came much later than the creation of the heavens and the earth. Think about the verses and the hadith in the light of this explanation, and it will become clear to you, if Allah wills, that the claim that this hadith contradicts the apparent meaning of the Qur’an will be resolved, praise be to Allah. Al-Anwaar al-Kaashifah (p. 187, 188) Shaykh al-Albaani (may Allah have mercy on him) said: It is not contrary to the Qur’an in any way whatsoever, in contrast to what some people may think. The hadith explains how things were created on the face of the earth, and that that happened in seven days. The statement of the Qur’an, that the creation of the heavens and the earth occurred in six days, is not contrary to that, because it is possible that these six days were something other than the seven days mentioned in the hadith. It – I mean the hadith – is speaking of one stage in the development of creation on the face of the earth, until it became fit for habitation. This is supported by the fact that the Qur’an states that some days with Allah, may He be exalted, are as a thousand years, and some are as fifty thousand. So why shouldn’t these six days be like that? And the seven days could be like the days that we know, as the hadith clearly states. In that case there is no contradiction between this hadith and the Qur’an. Mishkaat al-Masaabeeh (3/1597) According to either view, there is no contradiction between the number of days in which Allah created the heavens and the earth, which is six days, and the creation of Adam on Friday. According to the first view, Friday is included in the six days. This is clear and there is no problem in understanding it. But according to the second view, the creation of Adam is not included in the heavens or the earth, as is also the case with regard to the creation of the angels, Iblees and the devils. Rather the apparent meaning of the Qur’an is that the creation of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them occurred before the creation of all of these creatures. |
AlBaqir:There is no contradiction between this hadith and the Qur’an. |
AlBaqir:Did you type all those hadith you sent How does all those hadith you copy and paste affect you?? |
AlBaqir:Have you not read what I typed above |
AlBaqir:You must be a Shia for arriving at a completely misinformed conclusion It was narrated that ‘Aa’ishah (may Allaah be pleased with her) said: A spell was put on the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) until he imagined that he had done a thing when he had not done it. One day he made du’aa’ then he said: “Do you know that Allaah has shown me in what lies my cure? Two men came to me and one of them sat at my head and the other at my feet. One of them said to the other, ‘What is ailing the man?’ He said: ‘He has been bewitched.’ He said: “Who has bewitched him?’ He said: ‘Labeed ibn al-A’sam.’ He said, ‘With what?’ He said: ‘With a comb, the hair that is stuck to it, and the skin of pollen of a male date palm. He said: ‘Where is it?’ He said, ‘In the well of Dharwaan.’” The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) went out to the well, then he came back and said to ‘Aa’ishah when he came back: “Its date palms are like the heads of devils.” I said: “Did you take it out?” He said: “No. Allaah has healed me, and I feared that that might bring evil upon the people.” Then the well was filled in. Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 3268; Muslim, 2189. This has been denied by some people who said that this could not have happened to him, and they thought that it was a shortcoming and a fault. But it is not as they think, rather it comes under the heading of sickness and pain that befell him; it is a kind of illness which befell him just as he was also affected by poison – there is no difference between the two. It is proven in al-Saheehayn that ‘Aa’ishah (may Allaah be pleased with her) said: “The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) was bewitched until he thought that he had had intercourse with his wives when he had not done so, and that is the worst kind of witchcraft.” Al-Qaadi ‘Iyaad said: Witchcraft is a kind of sickness which happened to him like other kinds of sickness. That cannot be denied and it does not detract from his Prophethood. With regard to his imagining that he had done something when he had not done it, that does not have any impact on his truthfulness, because of the evidence to that effect and the scholarly consensus that he was protected from that. Rather it was one of the matters of this world which are not the reason for which he was sent, and which are not the basis of his virtue and in which he was like all other human beings. It is not far-fetched to say that he might imagine some things that were not real, then things became clear to him later on, as indeed happened. End quote. Zaad al-Ma’aad, 4/124 So it is clear that the hadeeth is saheeh, and that it does not detract from the status of Prophethood. Allaah, may He be glorified and exalted, protected His Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and made him infallible before this spell was cast, during it and afterwards. The spell did no more than make the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) think that he had had intercourse with his wives when he had not done so; it had to do with a purely worldly matter, and had nothing to do with his conveying of the message at all. The words of the scholars quoted above are sufficient, and whoever wants to know more may refer to Fath al-Baari and Zaad al-Ma’aad. |
2014?? during PDP regime ![]() |
ABUJA – Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has said President Muhammadu Buhari knows a thing or two about bringing looted funds into the country. The former President stated this while reacting to an earlier statement credited to Buhari Support Groups, BSG, accusing him of plotting to ferry looted funds into the country ahead of the 2019 elections. Atiku who reacted in a statement issued by his media adviser, Paul Ibe, tasked President Buhari and his supporters to take a trip down memory lane before making allegations they could not substantiate. The statement read in part: “Our attention has been drawn to a statement by President Muhammadu Buhari accusing the Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic part PDP, Atiku Abubakar of planning to smuggle in looted funds into the country just before the February 2019 elections. “This new accusation, like their previous allegations, is another infantile outburst that tells more about the accuser than Atiku Abubakar. “For the avoidance of doubt, history shows that rather than smuggle in looted cash, Waziri Atiku Abubakar has a record of preventing looted funds from being smuggled into Nigeria. “In 1984, it was Atiku Abubakar, as head of the Murtala Mohammed International Airport Command of the Nigerian Customs and Excise Department, that stopped the ADC of the then Military Head of State, Muhammadu Buhari, from smuggling in 53 suitcases of looted money into the country. “Young Nigerians and Millennials who may not be aware of this incident, will do well to Google it. Only the guilty are afraid. It is President Muhammadu Buhari who has a history of smuggling in looted funds and not Waziri Atiku Abubakar.” Atiku further backed up his position with a claim that a prominent APC governor said the same thing of the President eight years ago. “In fact, Nasir El-Rufai (Kaduna state governor), a favourite of the President and a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, said as follows on October 4, 2010: “In 1984, Buhari allowed 53 suitcases belonging to his ADC’s father to enter Nigeria unchecked at a time the country was exchanging old currency for new.” The statement added that “only recently, Mr. Abubakar’s plane was searched, his accounts have been perused and his businesses have been thoroughly investigated with a fine tooth and nothing remotely corrupt or illegal has been found. “In desperation, the Buhari administration released this statement to cover their shame on a day that the US based International Strategic Studies Association reported that it is the unprecedented corruption around President Buhari that has led to the recent setbacks in the war on terrorism in the Northeast and the heavy loss of lives amongst the military rank and file. May God save Nigeria from a government that values money over lives. “We therefore urge Nigerians to note that it is Muhammadu Buhari who has a history and a record of smuggling in looted funds and it is Waziri Atiku Abubakar who has a history of preventing such from happening. “And while they are at it, we urge them to tell Nigerians those behind Etisalat, now 9Mobile and Keystone Bank, now Polaris and how they suddenly possessed such wealth overnight.” https://www.vanguardngr.com/2018/12/2019-buhari-has-history-of-bringing-looted-funds-to-nigeria-atiku/

“Nor does he speak of (his own) desire.
It is but a revelation revealed”
[an-Najm 53:3-4]. Allah, may He be exalted, has enjoined upon the believers complete submission to the words of the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) and his hadith and rulings, to the extent that He, may He be glorified, swore by His divine self that whoever hears the words of the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), then rejects them and does not accept them, has nothing to do with faith at all. He, may He be glorified and exalted, said (interpretation of the meaning) “But no, by your Lord, they can have no Faith, until they make you (O Muhammad (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)) judge in all disputes between them, and find in themselves no resistance against your decisions, and accept (them) with full submission” [an-Nisa’ 4:65]. Al-Hasan ibn ‘Ali al-Barbahaari said: If you hear a man casting aspersions upon a hadith or denying a hadith, or giving precedence to something else over a hadith, then suspect his commitment to Islam, for he is undoubtedly following whims and desires and innovation. If you hear a man, when you quote a hadith, showing no interest in it on the basis that he only wants to hear quotations from the Qur’an, you should not doubt that he is a man who is following the path of the heretics, so get up and leave him, and bid him farewell. End quote. Sharh as-Sunnah (113-119) |
