Lol that’s all? Do you have collateral? And even banks will not give you 2m for 3m back after 18 months, average interest is 6%,.

I can loan you 2m if you have collateral worth (secondhand value of 5m), I’m a licensed money lender... If you have such collateral, PM me. And I can’t do 18 months, max 12 months

Please ,I want to ask a question.

I bought 100k worht of eith this January and I have the intention of holding for like 8-9 months . And I noticed it has been increasing like its up to 120k now. My question is..

1. Is it advisable I sell the 20k profit and keep in my wallet because I don't have the intention of using the money now and allow the capital to grow again which I can collect the profit also later on and keep or I should leave the 20k profit with the capital for it to grow together for this duration(8-9) months....which is advisable

2. Anothe question is ,should I sell the 120k worth and wait till dip then use 100k to buy another worth of eith?
Waiting for response.
@jedisco,@abu@enlightened

In a situation like this, what I usually do is sell my profit, and wait for a dip to renter with my profits. Cuz if you dump all, and wait for a dip with eithy, you’d most likely not be able to buy at the 600k you bought in at initially. But by withdrawing only your profit, and seeking a lower entry, you’d actually gain slightly more in qoin value which is great for a qoin like eithy cuz you can’t lose

I hate to see stories like this cry
Newbies have been advised couple times not to chase market. People have been making money from crypt0 and will keep making money till thy kingdom comes so stop thinking you’ve come late to the party. There will always be opportunities to buy moreover there are also a lot of other good coins to buy.

Instead of jumping in and hoping to get lucky use that opportunity to study about a coin( technically and fundamentally).... read, read and read you’ll benefit from doing so in the long run. Cheers!

I think Dogtails selectively read about rip & made the common decision a lot of newbies made in the beginning, chased dogtails by jumping in when crunch time was already over. As Jerry59 said and a lot of us have always said here; always study the previous weeks on the chart, makes no sense getting in a market where a qoin that hasn’t done 20% in three weeks suddenly does 100% and we want to get in when it’s already at 90% if it’s potential. If it’s previous price was 150, why get it at 300. It’s like seeing betece at 36k and waiting till it begins an uprising till 42 & cuz it’s past 42, believing it will hit 50 jumping in and then it crashes, except with betece one can gaurantee it will at least rise again to and past that level eventually.

Before you take your next step, weigh your options, are you in for long term or short term, if long term, just wait a bit let rip prices rise above 200, dump it or if you have the mind, count your losses and get eithy when it has rested, not now, cuz it would still do its thing today, I already liquidated mine and I’m waiting for another entry but I most likely won’t find one till tonight

Don't know so much about soft wallets. @abduljabber1 could be of help. They are good but obviously not as secure as hardware ones

@jerry59
For soft wallets I’d suggest B-it Pay. But you’d have to make sure you store your keys well, in case your device gets lost or formatted. You’d be able to just download the app on another device and restore it. It’s been a life saver. I however prefer the offline hardware wallets cuz it helps me save my qoins better. If I Dey see am inside B it pay e go dey show me balance in real-time... I no wan see balance in real time; na wetin dey cause panic sales be that & because the app is always there you’d always check. But the hardware ones be like kolo; but one might deem them expensive, but b it pay is free

Comeandcollect:
Majority of individuals who trade BT.C or Et.h can stake $500 to $1000 globally per day, this is only a fraction of the profit you will get when the crypto goes up. The major beneficiaries of these coins are companies like MicroStrategy, exchange sites like Luno, Coindesk, Binance, High networth individuals.
They can trigger the market anytime at the mercy of average individuals.

To me, to play in the game there is need to take whole profit unfortunately the coins are unreachable to buy in whole even if you can afford it, bit.c.oin started selling at $1, to pay $36k for it for someone worth $36k is ridiculous.

From my understanding of what you’re trying to say, you seem to be saying only major Corps would profit off its price rises? I beg to differ... Even if I purchase 100 $ worth of betece at 36k and the price rises to 40k which is just over 10%, I gain 10% on my 100. The more my portfolio the more I gain.

I know individuals with over 100 qoins personally I know how many qoins I hold and trust me the revenue I gained this year alone off the recent hike is way beyond what most major businesses in Nigeria declare as profits yearly. But thats not even the bone of contention here, even the man that had just 100 in made a very good flip on his money.

Individuals hold more qoins than corporations chief... Individuals... there’s a group on Reddit that you can’t be a member of except you have at least 100 qoins & there’s over 1,392 people in there at last count; none of them corporations

These xchanges only trade qoins that belong to other individuals and customers, they have a company cap and qoins being traded, it’s why they feel it when people move qoins offline. These xchanges make their revenue off the fees, That there’s 1000 qoins being traded on bundle doesn’t mean bundle owns 1000 qoins

So I only fancy it when its over 5% profits and I don’t mind paying up to the 2% in fees to get rid of it at the market price not even the market sell price

But today liquidity has been high perhaps cuz it’s on the rise

I focus on the big guns for my long term objectives... I always hold as much Eithy and B as I can...
I have a soft spot for Rip too but it’s proli my biggest gamble yet, but it’s done well, at least it’s doubled with its last run and I’m optimistic of their sec settlement.

As for the smaller qoins, I hardly touch em, except I understand them, only ones I’ve touched recently were Polkadot & Doge during its last major run, I’m looking into Ren now though. When I trade those small qoins it’s only if there’s an impending pnd & I make sure I get in either the night before or very early in the morning and dump before noon when the whales would begin to shock everyone.

You couldn’t have said it no better...

I’m favouriting Eith & LTC for this week, I still haven’t gotten much of a full understanding on Link...

It’s always best to split your portfolio across various xchanges as you said and also if you have long term plans; I suggest this, keep your long term qoins in an offline wallet; that way you don’t see your funds on ur app everytime you sign in & panic, just observe for your targets or wait till the next major pump, trust me you’d know cuz EVERYONE will be talking about it, and reconnect ur offline wall, move your qoins to ur x change and sell, think of it as a piggy bank kolo or what we used to call it as kids. The stress of connecting the offline wall to ur computer & then using the bridge before sending your qoins to sell alone will discourage u from panic sales...

Long term favs for me remain Betece & Eithy, I personally have a soft spot for rip but only cuz I think of it as a stock; however none of this is financial advise and operate at your own risk... And as Sailor Saïd always look at the charts dating back months, if possible as far back as 18 months. If I’m ever jumping on a bandwagon, I set a small profit margin once I hit my target I dump cuz I know from being burnt in the past that these one day wonder qoins would hurt you on the way down. If you see you made a good 10-20% already in the same day on a random qoin, why not take what you already have and go? You’re already 20% richer than you were before...

Eithy and LTC doing as expected! Weird how I woke up at the right time... My sell order just got filled, quickly too so the whales are up... I’m gonna sit it out today, if it dips under 700, I’d hop back in. Or if i have nothing to do all day, I’d day trade it a bit, I like the chances of 1-3% rises and falls a number of times today... looks like it’s been hovering around 719-730, one or two trades in that region if it holds would fetch an extra 1.5% each time, fair enough if you ask me... I’d monitor what’s guaning till mid day anyway.

Woke up to a nice 10% profit off the LTC I bought yesterday & My Beloved Eithy crossed it’s third Ath in 30 days... wild! My problem now is the unintentional greed that comes with... Got my last set of eithy at 640, had quite a bunch from the 580 region, abeg let me not be greedy, already set a sell order for 729,800 (11-12% isn’t bad for a 3 day wait)

I just want to share testimony this morning. I bought xrp at N210 yesterday evening hoping that it would do a second surge before midnight. Thankfully, my eyes was on the market and I quickly exited at N199. I was offline from that time till this morning; only to see my dear xrp at 178. I'd have lost much more if I hadn't exited that time. Like our bosses here always say, timing your entry and exit is very important in this unforgiving market. As a newbie, one thing I've understood is you are bound to loss and gain but make sure you cut your losses quickly. Don't allow the heavy bags be dumped on you when the big whales decide to leave the party.

I noticed some are looking towards coins to buy and hold for sometime.... Obviously, once eith moves, another run starts...

I'd mention certain things.

1. Before you buy a coin, at least look at the chart. You dont want to be buying a coin that has done x4 in the past month. Like it or not, smart folks took position before it ran and are distributing theire bags to you. Always look at the chart of a coyn for at least the last month before getting into it

2. People get excited when a coyn pumps well and the mentions increase. That's when smart folks leave. Some will now buy for high prices and after it's not pumped for sometime, they leave and jump to another top. Case in point is DOT. Few weeks ago, most folks were asking about DOT because it's done x4 in a month. I said it here I was selling my dot bags into other coyns. I'm sure alot bought it and have been disappointed for the past weeks. I believe it's consolidating for the next move, either way, it may also be distributing...

3. Try and avoid buying anything that has done over 20% in a day... You should laern to snipe entries before they move. Before you buy a coin that has moved 25% in a day, ask yourself why didn't you buy it yesterday

4. When you buy and hold, you know when to exit the market. When my coin has done x4 in a month, nobody needs to tell me to look elsewhere. If I was jumping in and out, I wouldn't even know.

5. If you're buying a coin that everyone is talking about on social media, then youre simply doing adashe wey u no go pack. Use market sentiment to your profit and don't be the sentiment others are profiting from. A coin would usually get attention after it's moved heavily and folks are looking on who to distribute. Exceptions may be some obvious big names.

6. Timing is everything... Coyns move in tandem. I said over the weekend that since microcaps have pumped, focus is shifting to the large guns. I sold my uni which I bought for 5 early January at 19.5 and used it to add more eith and link. Same also for aave.. which had gone from 100 to 300... Though I still have some left. Understand how the market cycles and try and move b4 it does

Coins I believe would rest for a while after a very strong run. They may still run, but better opportunities exist elsewhere.

Aave
Uni

Coyns I believe would do well over the coming weeks. They have settled after a previous move up.

ETH
Link
Ada
Vet
Ltc
Algo
Zil
Atom
Xlm

That should do well but not typically strong coyns
YFI
Ren
Sxp

Can't say for now
DOT- may move up or down. Up seems more likely
Theta- it's moves are explosive and it runs for a very long time. Seems to be consolidating or distributing. Not in it

Each of those coins could easily give x2 and some x3 from here if you're patient. And I'm talking about the next few weeks. Needless to say, those coyns were at the bus station over the weekend...they have began to leave
Tip.. In these conditions, smaller caps usually perform better than large caps

Tip: even if you want to day trade, split your portfolio in two ir have another account on a different exchange. Use one to day trade and the other to keep sensible projects. Over time, look at which is doing better and which works for you.

I'm sad about certain things.
I've said it over snd over again. This bullrun wouldn't last forever. If you're losing money now, then you're doing alot of things very very wrong

Crypt0 is not the way you see it. There are some weeks you don't even get 10%. It's the long run that always matters.

I said it a few weeks back, day trading sounds sweet but it's very difficult. Learn the market first. What you're doing is practically giving your money to traders who bought low.

Just a quick one. Check all the new guys here who have tried day trading these past weeks. How many of them have not made losses? To make money here, you have to try and outsmart the usual trader.

In a bull market, even for an expert trader, the best strategy is to HOLD.

I'd list some coins again in a post below

Even me that’s been day trading for a couple years now, I took a couple hits this month, you have to always keep it in mind that you would take such hits if you mistime an entry or exit, and it’s a volatile market; even the xchanges warn us bout this same way cigarette makers warn users, yet we believe with great risk comes great reward forgetting there’s so many other factors that need to also come in play and be applied

Very true... This run in particular has actually lasted longer than I thought it would, I guess cuz there’s a lot more awareness and positive reception for crypt0 unlike in 2017... But very soon it would hit a hard reset and when it does, it’s best not to be caught slipping except you have long term plans and can deal with the emotional and financial torture that would come with it... I get that it can be extremely scary for the new guys especially to see their crypt0 lose so much value, but if they stick to the major players, they will not only recoup their cap or losses, but also some profit as well in the next few months

The truth is that Bt.c will become a VINTAGE coin owned by companies n industries in a few months from now, how many Americans will buy a coin valued at $33k? When their disposable monthly income is $2k? Then think abt other less developed countries with much less disposable income.

Bt.c has so many lags e.g it takes time to process transactions, high fees. Competition is here and only a matter of time before it becomes the Rolls Royce Phantom of crypto (good to drive but expensive to own).

You have been misinformed! No one needs to buy a whole qoin, if na 50 dollar ur money reach, you can equally profit off any rise whatsoever, if it gains 10% you gain 10% of whatever your worth in it is... Even if it becOmes 100k per qoin people that will buy will buy...
