SonofLincoln: I disagree with you. I am a Progressive and I have known about Trump for over 30 years growing up on the Northside of Chicago. Trump is a Con Man who scammed his way to the presidency and now that people have realized his con game, hes going to lose on Nov 3rd. Tell me one addition he adds to his coalition of 2016 since we all know politics is an act of addition not substraction. He's the worst President in American history and he's even a worse human being. I indirectly called Trump a corrupt criminal in my comment and so, I dont see what you are disagreeing with. Trump could win the election. The truth is that evil people usually last long in power. |

Honestly, no one can truly predict the outcome of the usa elections in November.
Both presidential candidates are very mentally unbalanced and old.
The only difference is that one is much more of a corrupt criminal than the other.
I'm a liberal and I would have preferred Bernie Sanders for president. |

pryme: So in summary the Republicans did not condemn the killing of George Floyd? Initially, some didnt until public condemnation was strong. They were focusing on his criminal past. To be honest though, many republicans were disgusted by the kneeling on the kneck |

pryme: So there was no nationwide condemnation of the killing of George Floyd? Were your conservative/republican brethren not looking for any excuse to cover George Floyd's death up? Candace Owens spending one hour to focus on George Floyd's criminal past as if it absolves the police of their criminally negligent behaviour of kneeling on someone's neck for 8 minutes? |

sexylassie2: to the person who uploaded the picture of Trump here.
The hyprocrisy is very alarming
Imagine Liberals believeing in Women rights, a woman can do whatever she likes with her body and all sort of ideas but they cant stand a picture of a former model.
Imagine having Cardi B has a role model, it seems Cardi B is now the liberal political spokewoman coming from a woman who herself sang some dirty and disgusting song recently. The hypocrisy. Melania was also selling some WAP as a model. |

Mintum: You are the one arguing that you don't support BLM violence and it's still the same you that is defending them with all your might now that somebody has shot some of them in self defence. If they didn't attack the boy, he won't shoot them Simple! I dont support their violence of course. However, I also dont support innocent BLM being shot. Is it hard to understand? You can never see me crying for the BLM members that were shot/arrested for looting. I will only advocate for the peaceful/innocent ones. |
Foreign Affairs › Re: American Politics Thread: Trump Is The 47th President! by AbdulSleeky: 4:14am On Aug 27, 2020 |
salford1: I do not understand too. Probably some sort of inferiority complex or just simply cooning.
Even the stupid NewYork Post could not twist the story. Can you imagine? They like people who shoot blacks and BLM. That is how one conservative fool here was defending the shooters of Armaud Arbery |
Foreign Affairs › Re: American Politics Thread: Trump Is The 47th President! by AbdulSleeky: 4:12am On Aug 27, 2020 |
Bluebyrd: It doesn't create any problem for the defence if the charge is first degree murder. FYI, the person he shot was not black and I have never defended the killing of any of the black people you listed above so your accusation is baseless. Wait, from what I read, he shot at least 3 people- and they were chasing him because he shot someone at first. If these are the facts, his self defence argument may not hold up. |
Foreign Affairs › Re: American Politics Thread: Trump Is The 47th President! by AbdulSleeky: 3:49am On Aug 27, 2020 |
Bluebyrd: Whoever charged him with first degree murder is a fool. Now in addition to proving he killed them not acting in self defense (Which will be difficult giving the video evidence), the prosecutor will now also have to prove that it was premeditated. This will be impossible on the face of it unless they have other evidence that is not available to the public. If it's the same information we have now then forget all the outrage you are seeing from the media, that guy will be freed on bail in his first appearance in court then he will be acquitted and discharged. Wisconsin is an open carry state so he didn't commit any offence carrying his weapons in open. From what I have read, the shooter travelled in from another state with a gun he should not be legally holding. This creates a problem for his defence. Also, why do conservatives/republicans take joy in defending people who murder blacks? Killer of Trayvon Martin Killer of Breonna Taylor Killer of George Floyd At some point, you have to realise that you enjoy black people being killed. |

basilico: There, fixed it for you. Keep shifting goalposts. John Bellinger, the top State Department lawyer under former Republican Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, said the agency had long barred senior political appointees from partisan activity, including attending party conventions, even if they might be permitted under the 1939 Hatch Act limiting the political activities of federal employees. Pompeo's address also appeared to violate his own instructions restating the department's prohibition on political activities - which applies to official and private time - sent to personnel in a July 24 cable reviewed on Monday by Reuters. Bluebyrd: It's not a lie, Democrats and their friends in the media have been the ones defending the rioters. When president Trump sent in the national guards to get them off the streets of Portland, they came out to defend them and accuse him of abusing his powers. Can you show me one single example of a democrat politician condemning the violence? https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.usatoday.com/amp/3317862001

Its President Trump. Trump gave rise to the division in this country. He should enjoy the consequences of his actions. What did he think would happen when he emboldened white nationalists and racists? He didnt consider the reactions. |

Bluebyrd: It's Strange how the media-Democrat Party outrage machine works. Nightly violence, looting, and arson don’t move them, but Pompeo speaking from Israel in support of the President does. Frauds. Why do you like lying? I dont know why you like repeating falsehoods that Democrats like the looting/violence that some BLM engage in. Stop using other issues to cover up the fact that Pompeo has brought disgrace to his office by breaking policy. He should not have given that speech. What a clown |

Foreign Affairs › Re: American Politics Thread: Trump Is The 47th President! by AbdulSleeky: 5:56pm On Aug 26, 2020 |
pryme: The argument was on "views" not Tv Ratings Sir. Even Cable news like Fox that are conservative did not air the whole thing without interrupting, viewers had to go to live-streams over the internet to watch the convention. And why did they interrupt? I read that they interrupted because the lies were too much and they had to fact check. Even your conservative news is not feeling republican propaganda |

pryme: I said "62% of Americans are afraid of expressing their political views except the far Left"
Then you posted this article that proves my exact point, or are the left not the liberals? is this where you dont understand? Far left? A far left person is not a liberal. A far left person is an anarchist |
Foreign Affairs › Re: American Politics Thread: Trump Is The 47th President! by AbdulSleeky: 5:36pm On Aug 26, 2020 |
pryme: So are you saying live streams and Tv ratings are the same thing? just asking They are not. The difference in TV numbers between the GOP and the Dems are in millions. Thus, the Democrats are winning in numbers by far. |

pryme: Did i say twitter? Thats a mistake on my side.
However this is a spinet from this very link you posted, confirming exactly what I just said about the far left, you only succeeded in fact checking your self. Hardcore racists are very closeted about their views, or have you not noticed? The fact that liberals are more open about their views is not necessarily a bad thing. |

basilico: Funny how some are not seeing the irony and impracticabilty of the procedure I outlined for police to arrest an entitled possibly violent suspect. Even shrinks can't tell the next move. Just like Clinton could not tell Benghazi was a planned attack despite all warnings before. She said the situation was so fluid, that she thought the attack was spontaneous. The video was clear the man was walking away from the police who were following him at a close distance at the right side of the car. They walked with him around the car to the left side of the car and shot him after he entered the car. Why didnt they subdue him when he was not answering at the beginning? Why did they act like escorts? |

basilico: Its always said the best n perfect footballers are spectators. They are also the best coaches.
The police should have waited for him to open his car door, get his gun or guns out, waited for him to point the gun at them, actually pull the trigger to confirm the gun had ammo before shooting him. The victim and the police officers went around the car before he entered the car and got shot. Now, why wasnt the victim subdued before they went round the car? What happened to tasers? Why are American cops and gun owners just so silly when it comes to common sense. In the uk, even if you are with a knife, the police wont shoot. |
