The romance and the emotional parts were the biggest strengths of the movie alongside Pascal's incredible MVP acting...there is no gripe here..the part where she met Steve's body double wasn't fake as it was already established during the movie that they lived close actually

This part (especially the action) is where il agree with you, the pacing wasn't all that bad but when you're expecting action scenes here and there and you don't get it you tend to feel like the pacing is wrong a d I understand that but it's not enough to call the movie trash

This is a comic book adaption FFS, you take what you see.
In a movie where the protagonist can make a jet invisible, use a rope to ride thunderstorm and the antagonist can grant wishes, you are analysing consistency as if this is real life.
If you want realistic plots, go and watch drama.


And about majority of other movie reviewers thrashing the movie, this is 2020, where herd mentality is the rule of the day.
Nobody wants to have a differing opinion from the crowd so as not to get panned.

First off, I see absolutely nothing wrong with this movie.


People just have this prejudiced notion that a comic book adaption should be an action scenes fest all through which explains why a lot of people have issues with Joaquin Phoenix "Joker".





3.3/4 for me.

Saw wonder woman today, the fight scenes were the only underwhelming part of the movie..

It was quite emotional and touching tho, Patty was clearly aiming for that part...I wonder how the part 3 would be

Nonetheless, please watch the series. It's a sci-fi horror tv series that has themes on racism, civil rights,blackness and african American culture.
