In an interview with humanitarian worker Ukan P Kurugh, Blessing revealed that her journey into sex work was driven by hardship. After her mother’s death and an early attempt by her father to marry her off, she ran away and eventually got married. However, her marriage did not last, and with two children to care for, she turned to the streets to make ends meet.

Blessing’s story took a positive turn when philanthropist Adoo Eugenia Ter highlighted her situation. In response, concerned Nigerians donated N500,000 and provided her with a new sewing machine to help her start a business and leave the streets behind. The donations are expected to offer her a fresh start, enabling her to support her children and regain stability.

What began as a moment of desperation has now transformed into an opportunity for Blessing to rebuild her life.

It's not unexpected. The president of this country is a politician to the core and as such, he knows how to get what he wants politically without minding whose toe is stepped upon. I'm not against private schools being compelled to pay new minimum wage. What I was trying to say is that the financial burden would be brought upon parents who are already suffering Nigerians because the affected schools would be forced to increase school fees geometrically. In that wise, many parents would have no other option than withdrawing their children to the already moribund government schools which would eventually spell academic doom for the children of the less privileged.
God should just take out anyhow the crop of present Nigerian leaders who are hell bent on choking us to death 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

A young lady is left in a dilemma after being faced with terms and conditions to be met before having her HND course sponsored by a man.

A social media user identified as @boosayor333 took to TikTok to share a voice note from an individual who promised to sponsor her education.

According to the man, she will have a legal agreement to have a child for him in the presence of his lawyer and also attested by the police.

“I can sponsor you if you want me to but it’s going to be 50:50. The [HND] form is still ongoing, make up your mind fast. You will get pregnant and have my child before school. We will go to the police station and you will sign an agreement with my lawyer and you must not abort the baby,” the man said in a viral audio.

“Someone promised to sponsor my HND but listed his terms and conditions,” she captioned the video.

In the comments, she added that she was neither dating the man nor were they in any form of relationship.

“He is not my boyfriend o and I didn’t force him he asked me wat was my next move I told him then he said should he sponsor me dat was wat brought abt all dis tank God 4 my dad God go bless dat man 4me,” she added.

Not at all. Those schools have to choose between increasing the school fees to meet up with the payment standard or lay off workers to be able to cope with the trend. Mind you, laying off workers would be catastrophic because it would drastically reduce the already reduced standard of education for there would be "jack of all trades" for teachers in those schools and the laid off teachers would eventually become problems to the already problematic Nigeria.

This action is condemnable. They have displayed the very reason many Nigerians believe they were fighting political battles instead of the mandate to fight corruption.
👆 On the contrary, the action is commendable because if Bello is not guilty as accused, he shouldn't have been running from EFCC all this while. He should have made himself available long before he was declared wanted. EFCC is only trying to treat him as a wanted criminal that he has justified himself to be.
The only unfortunate situation in this is that the issue is just a case of thieves trailing another thief from another camp because they are both birds of a feather.
