I disagree with you, depending on the engine, ringing is a much better option if done well.

Americans call it engine reconditioning, its a detailed process involving cylinder re boring, to get the right size of rings ,pistons, the crankshaft can be cut if it is found wanting.

Buying a used engine is a gamble, you dont know the condition of an engine until you mount in on a car and start it.

Its becos we no longer have skilled mechanics as we used to that people resort to buying used engines, just playing Russian roulette cos the engine you bought could be a worn engine.

1. P0976 Shift Solenoid B Control Circuit Low

2. P0141 Heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) 2, bank 1 heater control circuit malfunction

3. P0161, Heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) 2, bank 2, heater control -circuit malfunction


For 2 and 3 above, you MAY need to change your O2 sensors.

For 1 above, you need a good mechanic to either fix or replace your tranny. I hope you are using the recommended Honda ATF? When last did you change your tranny oil?

Thanks bro, but my mechanic said I will need to change my gear box completely. After the scanning. How true it is?

The D light is blinking on the dashboard and the speedometer doesn't move while driving, even driving for like 5minutes it would stop driving and refused to enter gear until parking it for like 1hour and start it again. That's the problem I'm facing. Thanks all

Menn , my 2003 model V6 na winch, I really love the car, driving on highway na superb especially on Lagos/Ibadan expressway, I can't use any other products than Honda, my next target is Evil spirit V6.

Anyway, have rectified the problem by changing the complete fuel pump engine with fuel gauge. It's working fine now. Thanks all, God bless.

Why my Honda EOD 2004 V6 fuel always dropped from fuel gauge after parking and start it for some hours. I noticed it when it's on(e.g) half or full tank and start it after few hours the fuel gauge would drop. Gurus in the house, pls I need ur advice on how to rectify the problem.
