Education / How You Can Gain Admission With Low JAMB Score – 2020/21 by Abimbola2525(m): 3:16pm On Oct 04, 2020
It’s a natural thing to feel disappointed and frustrated when we do not get the intended results after putting in a lot of hard work. This is exactly the feeling of some candidates who took part in the recently-concluded 2020 JAMB’s UTME Examinations.

A lot of them, for one reason or the other, performed below their own expectations. The essence of this post is to rekindle hope and show you some other possible ways to turn your admission dreams to reality even with your low score.

Of course, we know that neither JAMB cut-off marks nor departmental cut-off marks have been released by any school. But you can judge from previous years and make decisions that will end up in your favour. So keep reading if you think

Career / Reasons Why Candidates Lose Admission From JAMB Online Application To Post-utme by Abimbola2525(m): 2:51pm On Oct 04, 2020
It is said and has been proven that admission success/failure starts from the application. Many prospective students fumble their way through application for JAMB without considering the factors that contribute to success in admission.

For instance, in the choice of universities, there are several factors to consider. These factors, when put into consideration, are supposed to affect the candidate’s mode of preparation. But because most candidates do not consider them, they lose the admission even before writing the JAMB examination.

These factors include cut-off marks, NUC admission policies, state of origin and catchment area, university/departmental carrying capacity, ELDS, and so on.

Besides the choice of university, choice of course is another factor that has denied millions of candidates admission over the years. From experience, I noticed that candidates make the same mistakes every year with respect to the choice of course when applying for JAMB UTME and post-UTME.
