Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Urgent Job Opening For Agm, Accounts Mgr & Events Mgr by abimbolami(f): 4:39pm On Aug 12, 2007
hi dekemena,

Can you help? I just completed my profile on www.smsjobsearch.net, uploaded my CV and sent the text required to make an application as directed in your earlier post. Only problem is my CV does not seem to be uploaded. I have sent the application text twice and received two responses stating that my application cannot be processed 'cos my CV is yet to be submitted.

so is it the website or what?

Looking forward to your response.

Hi Tee Zero,

I am interested in the role of Project Assistant as advertised on this forum. I studied Journalism in Cardiff University but majored in Online journalism. I am highly competent in the use of various softwares including Microsoft office, Dreamweaver and photoshop. Prior to returning to Nigeria, I worked in communications and  demonstrated skills and abilities such  as being able to work with little or no supervision whilst still delivering excellent results; attentive to details, ability to communicate with people at all levels.

I will very much like to be given a shot at the role and can be contacted on 08023602861. My email address is abimbola202002@yahoo.com

A quick response will be much appreciated.

Hi Yusuf

Did you receive that email that said you might be called for a third assessment?
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Apm Terminals Xpecpt by abimbolami(f): 10:30am On Aug 01, 2007
Tinkin

I do not have another address apart from that used for invitation to the assessment centre but I've got a number though. It's 08039754387.

All the best.

Hi Kadr

I apologise for the late response. Right, with regards to your question, I really can't tell you the correct way in answering them. You will remember the time given was really short.

The only thing I can remember doing was leaving out the questions that required loads of numerical skills. Those ones take a lot of your time, the time you do not really have. So my advice is tackle the the ones you are sure of and work on the numerical questions if you've got time.

Hope that helps, all the best.

Hi Daniel
I received the same email. I think we happened to fall into the group that neither pass nor failed hence the third assessment. We just have to keep our fingers crossed and hope we are actually called for it.

Did you receive another email requesting for your CV? I did.

Cheers

Hi Tinkin

I wrote the assessment in abuja as well and I have since received 2 emails from them. The first requested for a copy of my CV and the other informed me that I might be called for another assessment. Also received a call today still requesting for my CV.

So that's it.

Family / Re: How Hard Is It To Remain In Marriage? by abimbolami(f): 9:20am On Jul 26, 2007
I think it takes the grace of God to remain in marriage. I mean when both parties aren't enjoying it, what 's the point in staying in?

I recently had the displeasure of being an active participant in a fight btw a couple. It was not pretty at all. I mean this guy beat his wife senseless, in the prescence of their children and the wife still chose to stay in the marriage. Why live together in mystery when one could have a chance at peace and happiness living seperate lives?

It is indeed a mystery.

Jobs/Vacancies / Help With Work by abimbolami(f): 8:40pm On May 23, 2007
Hi Guys, I am new member of this forum and wondered if you could be of help. I returned to the country recently after 5 years studying and working abroad. Now I am at a loss on how to go about getting work. I thought it would be a snap with a UK degree and all that but I'm not really certain on where to start. I am in PR/Communications. Any thoughts?

Cheers
