No sir, like I said this is Uber because that's where I drive. The figures you see are after commissions. Uber only shows you your takings NET of commissions. 50k is AFTER commissions

I can only speak to my experience driving on Uber alone and driving in LAGOS.

My goal daily is 25k net.


I run . Bear in mind my gross target is 50k (fuel 20, feeding and misc. 5k, take home 25k)
With fuel at 1k however this will have to change but I've only driven a few days since the latest increase so I really can't say for now.
Bonuses also work for me and I try not to miss them. I typically get 80k to 120k in bonuses weekly. I use it to augment any shortfalls.
As long as there are riders and requests I think it'll pay. The margins may have shrunk but it'll even out in the end in my opinion.

My advice is find a routine that seems to work and exploit it to the max.
Chase those bonuses, it's like free money. Even if all you use it for is to offset you commission payments.

But if 12k commission is taken from the 50k, u will be left with 13k and not 25k or am I missing something

I got this camry hybrid 2007 Nigeria used with almost all d light shows which my engineer confirmed it's due to one or 2 cells of d hybrid battery being bad.
The check hybrid system and VSC system error keep popping up. The brake,ABS light were on and d braking system was not good enough.

After replacing d faulty single hybrid cell, the car started switching to hybrid normally and Car run smoothly.
All the ABS light went off and d braking system became so superb again but the lights comes up at intervals and when it does, d brake won't be sharp as it should.

The previous owner claimed to have been driving it like that since it's not giving him issues but I can't drive a car with intermittent failed braking system. My engineer said it will get better with time that i should just be driving it like that. My mind is always there whenever I'm driving because there's this loud and annoying alarm sound that comes up whenever d lights are On and d brake won't catch much but it will disappear on it's own after driving for sometimes only for it to come up again and d alarm will start making noise again

Pls what is d way forward?

Apologies for the late response and thank God, you were able to secure it with reduced price.
ABS should be around 250k and above mind you,you need to reach an agreement with supplier if it doesn't work you will return it back,also the installation is tricky,I believe your guy should be able to handle that.
Pls after installation don't change break pad anyhow if not.it will be damaged.I will advice you remove negative terminal whenever they want to do any break job if you are not sure of the mechanic.
In ladipo one battery should be around 15k I can you give less than that with warranty.
AC blower? Are you referring to running down 12v battery?,I believe you are referring to HV battery blower at the rear seat.it is mount on the HV battery,it is blowing cause of the bad battery.you can chat me up for more guidelines and spending necessarily.whatsapp 08052726390

Good decision depends on the price you are bargain
1.ABS light on the dashboard,check if they have blank it or showing constantly
2.I believe the person you are going with has a scanner to confirm the status of the battery via data stream. HV battery and ABS are the major issues on 2007 Camry hybrid.Mine is 7years and i never regret it. Battery is expensive around 700k I pray that one is ok.Run a comprehensive scan and send the codes.
3.confirm if the inverter pump is running

This message came a bit late and d car has the major issues u laid out but the hybrid guy I went with says we can get all fix if d guy can reduce the price.
We eventually reach a compromise and d car was paid for

1. ABS need to be replace and I'll like to know d cost if u have an idea so i won't be reaped off

2. One or 2 cells need to be replaced according to the scanner

3. Ac blower is working non stop which is running down the battery. It has been disconnected and to be replaced later


My guy that want to fix it says with 500k we can get it all sorted out

For durability of engine and gearbox, performance, quality interior/exterior build, availability of reliable parts (not rebuilt parts), nice aesthetic... Just go for the Honda Accord because it gives you great performance and better handling along with all that I mentioned earlier.

If you wanna follow the normal Naija talk then go for the Camry. But I can assure you that with today's exchange rate, the 13pin unreliable gearbox it carries costs nothing less than 1million (with high chances of buying a rebuilt transmission). The 4-cylinder variant is notorious for oil burns too which is a nightmare for the user in the long run. The shocks too are always a problem.

If you lack a good maintenance culture please stay away from Honda vehicles because it will mess you up. Honda Accord is known for suspension wear always, so you really need to be a detailed person to avoid it going out on you.

I believe this will help in your decision making.

my advise, the Honda accord evil spirit is a very very very rugged car, you wouldnt regret it if you choose it over the toyota. If you compare the i4 variant of both, the accord engine is far superior, it doesnt suffer from excessive oil burn that can potentially damage your engine and lead to expensive repair if not spotted spotted on time, some can need up to 1liter a week or less to top up. With the accord, the transmission is also more rugged and easier to find a replacement when needed. for the camry you will have to figure out or look for a suitable 13pins or whatever pin they call it, and the chances of being sold the wrong pin transmission types is possible, so you got to shine your eyes. The Honda engine and gear are cheaper to replace. The drive performance of the Honda is far far better.

But if you are deciding between the 6 cylinder variant, then I will pick the Camry. Homeboy was probably engineered by a god, and it is literally indestructible.

there is no other issue that the model you want to go for use to have just get the 2.4l engine and also increase the tire size to give the car some ground clearance...... I have come to realize that people complain about Honda hating water is because of the poor ground clearance of some of there sedan but if you can get a good ground clearance out of it that car will serve you ...watchout for where your intake manifold is and any water that will get there don't enter it

Provided the car has been properly inspected and not overused, u can buy anyone within ur budget.
