this is over hyping corolla I haven't seen that condition that my car won't survive........I don enter water wey almost cover my Bonnet inside agungi and one day that is was raining at Tom ogboi along freedom way so forget it .....that Tom ogboi own self Na 2 Camry stop inside the water and one SUV........my car has make me to believe that there is no other kind of ruggedness you need in a car ...was it the day I was travelling that my gear seat brake while speeding, heard the sound and slow down but I press the motor and nothing do am Naso I continue to press am dey go not knowing that the gear oil don dey drip down in short sha all my oil was completely drained from my car and I didn't know Na when the car refuse to enter gear again that I found out ...after all that Na just fixing the gear seat and put another oil and the car was back to normal.. and for the fact that I don put almost 100k miles on the car and I have not open the engine or gear for once abeg give it to Honda jare

Which model of Honda are you using? I'm considering getting 2010/2011 Accord but some are saying honda too dey get other issues aside d engine and if d engine enter water, e don go be that

Naija used camry muscle too cost and beyond my budget of 4.5m but I dey see honda within that range

Serious o, Evil spirit conserves fuel more than Muscle. Its carries a 2.4 litre ivtec engine. Just like civic 03 saves fuel better than Corolla 03 same goes for 08-11 Honda vs 08-11 Camry

Pls on the matter of muscle vs evil spirit which one has d most rugged engine for this hustle and with lesser issues on other components of the car?

Find someone with an high end scanner to scan it thoroughly, ask for maintenance records (yeah, i keep mine), test drive for no less than 30 mins with AC running, check the fluids (trans and engine).
Check for leaks beneath the car, if the engine bay appears washed then there's a reason to be more careful, listen for sounds like power steering whine, check if it starts up immediately or needs two to three cranks, look at the mpg readings while test driving and see if its not far from manufacturer's values, check if car doesn't smoke, check the state of the tyres ( look for uneven wears).
Check for common abuse like radiator fan being connected directly, car starting in drive and so on, and lastly the documentation of the vehicle, before all i have stated, check the vin to have an idea what state it came in when it was imported.
These are the things to be done, may you find a good one 👍🏾

As you do, bear In mind that you have already collected the interest upfront except if you invested with the interest. There is also the likelyhood that it would be offered for sale @ lower rate than you got it to attract new buyers or the bank that is collecting it back.

Also, bear in mind that you might incurr a penal charge for liquidating before maturity.

Na normal thing. If d leak is not visible in d hood, then its from d evaporator. It might be the expansion valve sha, not the evaporator itself. So let him investigate well. Before coming to conclusion.
AC and overheating problem are my worst fears in a car.

Thanks for your input. I hope it will be something minor like the valve because he said he need to loose it to know exactly where d leakage is coming from. Since he has checked all visible parts. because if u put gas now, in less than an hour d gas go leak comot finish

Instead of patching compressor and evaporator, why not change AC technician, visit a competent technician, let him go thru the whole process again, replace defective parts and call it a day?

I think he didn’t do a thorough check initially to ascertain where d issue was coming from. He only use d sound from d compressor to chop money because what he changed was just a small rubber which he claimed was d seal. Na d fear of not tampering with other things if d dashboard is loose dey worry me

I'll suggest you share your location so people can recommend strong hands to you. If you must bring down the dashboard, better to have someone who knows what he's doing do it.

I've seen where someone opened dashboard to fix a leak and forgot to connect the evaporator thermostat. The dashboard had to be opened a second time.

And who knows, the issue may not even be coming from the evaporator.
