Don't just like all these Toyota carton, reason I am not really looking at Camry.... Have used several of them, especially the 2013 Camry, the moment you get to 120km the car becomes very light

Yeah I just checked only the 08 and 09 accord is 4m plus the 10 to 12 are very expensive upto 5m sef for tokunbo.

Just settle for the camry 10 or 11, it's still good too.

Does the speedometer work when it starts behaving like that? If it does not work. Does the gear select properly when it starts fluctuating? Does the BRAKE light on the dashboard come on when it starts?

Speedometer works fine and gear select normal and no brake light on dashboard

Sure,agbede dey obalende.. Go to underbridge,ask the danfos there to recommend agbede.
on the other hand,you can do it tomorrow at Ikeja. Take a destination trip to ikeja, there's a guy who cleaned readadream's radiator @ agindingbi first gate. He knows his stuff.

Don't let anybody poke into your car unnecessarily, cleaning of radiator fins is your first trouble shooting before anything else.

Go to agbede ( blacksmith),they specialise in cleaning your radiator fins. Your radiator internal fins are blocked .Car wash steam on radiator is doing nada,you are just wasting money.

Our engines are water- cooled and not air -cooled,

Pls do u have any blacksmith that washes radiator within Lagos? Blacksmith I know in my area only washes gold chain

Perform one quick check.
Find a convenient place to park
1. Start the engine.
2. Turn ON the A/C
3. Pop the bonnet
4. Check if the two radiator fans are working and spinning fast.

If you find that one is not rolling, it could be any of these 4 things

A. The relay
B. The fuse
C. The fan motor(usually the carbon brushes)
4. The bearing of the motor may have melted to the shaft of the amarture and cause the rotor to seize.

In most cases, the problem is usually C but ensure you give feedback to the thread so your experience can be useful to someone else.

Dirty radiator. Enough Air is not getting to the Condenser. Get the radiator and Condenser steamed wash. Check the fans too

How is d steam wash done because I just had d radiator blown with pressure water at the car wash few days ago

Ask your mechanic to check the oil and throttle position sensor (tps). If it’s fine replace gear.

It regulate back when d road is free and I’m firing but immediately there’s little traffic , d temperature will start going up and I will have to put off the AC until d road is free again. How do u I get d number of d new one because it has been fixed to d car?

The old one was taken to d market to get the exact number. Though I didn’t check before it was replaced but I have d old one with me

Did you scan the car and carry other diagnosis/tests before changing ALL these parts?
What if it was air that was leaking from some vacuum lines or the intake?

Note: these are possible scenarios and not from actual tests carried out on your car.

It was scanned severally and we follow d result of d scan until it stop showing any error from d scanner but d problem persist. I took it to 4 different mechanic workshops and none could fix it until Rewire suggested we change brainbox. It was removing a very thick black smoke at one stage and won’t drive. Once u start d car and put it in drive it will go off. But we changed d brainbox d smoke has stopped

The only code I could remember was P2196

I drive 2003 Toyota Camry

The issue was that my RPM usually goes up and down on its own even when d car is on P(Park). It will just be fluctuating on its own. I changed all coil and plug, clean throttle mouth and fuel injector, changed fuel pump but nothing work until when d brainbox was changed yesterday
I drove it today and it seems d car is moving normal until this evening when I noticed the rpm is rising again. Pls what could be the cause and permanent solution?
