Please let's share our experience with Live Ans Study Europe, they offered Study and work. I am about to pay for their Serbia work permit €1350 but am concerned. Has anyone used this company before.
They are genuine but be sure that Serbia has embassy in Nigeria and their system is smooth for Nigerians, they will give you the work permit but they can't help you out with visa which is the main thing. They are genuine but be careful. If in any case you don't have your visa , money don go.

Go and tell that to the Nigerians who are waiting for the war to continue. The way they have even been dragging themselves about the issue that supposed not concern them is really disgusting
The thing is something else, yesterday I told my colleague that he should be happy that petrol is selling for over 1100 naira, they have been the one fueling this war with their mouth, the fact that the young man actually studied political science in the university is even more appalling, now look at the situation we have found ourselves now, petrol is selling above when subsidy was initially removed and yet people that have no business in the conflict between two foolish countries are cheering them on.

You're supporting the wrong people.

Did Iran go to the United States to kill their president?

Did Iran attack the US or Israel?

Imagine a richer and more powerful neighbor comes to your house to kill your father and you retaliate. Are you the bad guy?

The truth aptly said. As a Man who studied international relations and politics I have decided not to comment on this issue right from the day , the new wave of assault on Iran broke out. I wonder how some Nigerians even think. You take out a leader of a country and you expect the people to applaud your rubbish. American army is just over hyped, they have never fought a battle since 1945 that they won. Only proxy war and dominance has been their key to survival, but watch out, America will also fade away just like other greater empire did.

Do not support evil so that evil does not follow your everywhere you go.

Radioesannews:
Akoko-Edo and Owan: The Silent Citizens Who Refuse to Be Forgotten

BY Dr. Obamesoh Afede Omokudu

PART 5

The story of Akoko-Edo and Owan is not unique in the annals of human governance. Across the world, marginalized communities have endured the quiet weight of exclusion, watching their potential be deferred, their dreams sidelined, their voices left echoing in empty halls of power. Yet, in Edo State, the story carries a peculiar cruelty: these are not distant strangers, but citizens who have labored, bled, and believed in the promise of the state. And still, the doors of leadership remain tightly shut.

When the Senate podium is stepped upon by representatives from Etsako, when the deputy governorship is claimed again and again by sons of a single community, when ministerial appointments, ambassadorial posts, and strategic offices bypass capable hands from Akoko-Edo and Owan, it is not mere coincidence, it is a sustained denial of agency. It is a pattern that whispers to the excluded: “You may exist, but your presence does not matter here.”

Think of the children growing up in Akoko-Edo and Owan. Their textbooks may speak of democracy, their teachers may praise citizenship, yet they look around and see only one narrative reflected in the corridors of power. What lesson does this teach? That competence alone is insufficient. That loyalty, service, and sacrifice do not guarantee recognition. That hope, however patiently held, can be conditional.

And yet, these communities have not turned bitterness into rebellion. They have not allowed neglect to harden them into cynicism. Akoko-Edo and Owan have continued to vote. They have continued to build. They have continued to serve, often without acknowledgment, often without applause. In their patience lies an extraordinary resilience. In their silence lies an unspoken dignity.

But dignity cannot thrive in perpetual invisibility. A people unseen are a people at risk of vanishing in the story of their own land. What has been denied is not just offices, it is recognition. It is validation that their labor, their dreams, their intellect, and their commitment to society matter as much as anyone else’s. To withhold this is not governance, it is moral failure.

The imbalance is more than political; it is human. It fractures families, erodes trust, and corrodes the social fabric. It whispers that belonging is earned not by virtue of citizenship, but by the luck of birth or the convenience of politics. And yet, Akoko-Edo and Owan persist. Their farmers rise with the sun to feed the markets of the nation. Their youths serve in defense of the land that seems to have forgotten them. Their elders preserve culture, history, and memory for a state that often overlooks their contributions.

Edo State stands at a crossroads. It can continue to normalize exclusion, to inscribe inequity into its institutions, to allow resentment to fester silently beneath civility. Or it can choose courage, justice, and conscience. It can widen the circle. It can trust that leadership belongs not to geography, not to lineage, not to habit—but to those willing and able to serve.

Globally, the world watches communities rise, shine, and transform nations. It celebrates inclusivity as a benchmark of maturity and legitimacy. Edo State has the opportunity to show that it too belongs to this global standard, that its democracy is more than a ritual of elections, that its leadership is more than a repetition of patterns. It can demonstrate that fairness is not an abstract ideal, but a lived reality.

To the people of Akoko-Edo and Owan: your patience has been heroic, your hope unshakable. Let no one tell you that waiting is weakness. You have waited not in despair, but in steadfast faith in justice. And now, the time comes for recognition. The time comes for your communities to be seen, to be heard, to be counted, not as tokens, but as rightful participants in shaping the destiny of Edo State.

Let history remember that this was the moment when silence ended, when exclusion was questioned, when hope demanded action. Let it record that a state that once overlooked its own found the courage to correct itself.

Akoko-Edo and Owan are still here. They are still believing. They are still ready to serve. Let Edo State rise to meet them.
Because justice delayed is not justice denied—it is a debt owed. And debts owed to people like Akoko-Edo and Owan must be repaid with more than words—they must be repaid with trust, responsibility, and the fullness of inclusion.

Watch Out For Part Six…
As an owan Son , I agree with you on this but the major blame is on our leaders from Akoko Edo and Owan , the little time they tasted power, how did they handle it? The ones that are benefiting from government at the moment, how are the handling and ensuring that the people benefit.

No, this has nothing to do with same sex marriage. The Trump administration is homophobic so that couldn’t have been their priorities. Below are some of the issues.

1. Trade more with US than China.
2.Give US company more access to mining Nigeria’s resources such as Oil, Colbat and lithium.
3. Don’t join the proposed BRICS currency that aims to end US dollar domination.
4. Lift the ban placed on the importation of 25 items from America.
5. Reverse the 15% tax imposed on imported PMS.
6. Allow America build its much desired African military base in Nigeria.

Let me tell you what you people don't know.
In as much as I want all the Islamic terrorists and Fulani terrorists wiped out including there sponsors by the United State in the North, there would be a big humanitarian crisis in the South too and that's the fact.
There is no law stopping the movement of people from the North to the South in Nigeria including the disguised terrorists. They will move down south to find shelter. We are talking about 250 million Nigerians here.
Is the South ready for this infiltration and the consequences it will bring? Is the South ready to take care of the Northern immigrants because you cannot stop them from free movement.

***Most comments under my post are based on sentiments and emotions and not solid ground on fact. What you people don't understand is that the northerners may see the invasion as been triggered by the south (most especially the SE) to fight the North and may instruct there people to move down south in millions for shelter. In doing so, we may have more crisis that we may not be able to handle. Is the South ready for this? Such invasion goes beyond just going after the terrorists that have already been infiltrated into the society. It's not that easy as you people think. Once it starts, no one could ascertain its end. *It could be sabotaged from within and US wouldn't be able to help.
The truth is that there are already infiltrating the south, some terrorist attacked Malam fatori in Bornu , the captured terrorist happens to be a trader in the Market here in the south. It's really a sorry situation.

PoliticsAmerica’s Threat Against Nigeria: Beyond The Surface By Diplomat by abiolert(op): 11:57am On Nov 02, 2025
In recent days, Nigeria has faced a wave of criticism from the President of the United States, who accused the country of failing to address religious persecution and interfaith killings. The American leader went as far as threatening sanctions — or even military intervention — to stop what he described as “religious cleansing.”

While such statements appear to come from a place of concern for human rights, they reveal deeper political and diplomatic tensions that cannot be ignored. The truth is, there is more to America’s sudden aggression than humanitarian sympathy.

Nigeria’s recent foreign policy choices have not sat well with Washington. The federal government’s refusal to accept deportees from the U.S., citing internal policy reasons, was a bold but controversial move. This decision reportedly infuriated American officials, especially after countries like Ghana and Liberia, which initially resisted, later bowed to U.S. pressure.

Furthermore, although the United States remains one of Nigeria’s largest trading partners and arms suppliers, Nigeria has repeatedly declined requests to host an American military base on its soil. To Washington, this refusal represents a lack of reciprocity — enjoying aid and security support while rejecting strategic partnership.

Compounding this strain is Nigeria’s growing alignment with China and Russia. By joining the BRICS economic bloc, Nigeria has signaled its willingness to diversify global partnerships, a move that Washington views as a quiet challenge to U.S. dominance in Africa.

However, the talk of invasion is far-fetched. America may impose sanctions or apply diplomatic pressure, but it will not risk military confrontation with a sovereign African nation of Nigeria’s size and importance.

Still, Nigeria must do more to correct the global perception that religious violence in the country is one-sided. The government should present verified data showing that Muslims, Christians, and people of other faiths have all suffered from terrorism and banditry. Transparent reporting, supported by credible local and international observers, will go a long way in countering misleading narratives.

Nigeria’s foreign missions, especially in Washington and New York, must take a proactive role in defending the country’s image. Likewise, interfaith organizations such as the Nigerian Inter-Religious Council (NIREC) should be more visible in fostering unity and speaking against extremism in all its forms.

In moments like this, diplomacy — not defiance — is the wiser path. By demonstrating openness, balance, and accountability, Nigeria can not only neutralize external pressure but also reaffirm its sovereignty and commitment to peace.

TravelRe: Benin City Due To Have Flyovers by abiolert(m): 8:07am On Oct 14, 2025
Uglyjuly:
I am currently spending my Yuletide holiday in Benin City, capital of Edo state. Having grew up here in the late 90’s and early 2000’ it is more of a call to those in the helm of affairs to start the plan and bring to live FLYOVERS in the city metropolis.

The following are my reasons:
1. The population of Benin City have drastically increased within the past years. Flyovers will help to improve movement of populace.

2. The number of vehicles in the state capital have also increased to a large extent.

3. Roundabouts are now old fashioned in the look of things. The roundabout are no longer effective as before.

The areas where these flyovers should be situated (not limited to) are.
1. Adesuwa Road Junction off Sapele Road
2. Third East Circular Junction/bus stop
3. Akpakpava Road by Second junction
4. Ramat Part
5. Ring Road/King Square.

Please this should be an agenda or major project for the new elected government in 2024.

Please add and share your thoughts on this.

Just like you predicted two years ago, the governor has flagged off the projects for a fly over @ Ramat Park and a new one @ Sapele Road by adesuwa junctions. I hope they compensate you for this your foresight.
Thank you

How we go solve this one?

OP, is your wife by any chance an ibo woman? Precisely from Anambra, Imo, and the neighboring states. Those women are the most ungrateful human alien of all time.

The moment they notice you are not bending to their selfish whims and demands, they’ll run away from you. I have been with a few to notice this. Infact it feels like I have a magnet that draws them to me. The first one I started with approached me by herself. The Second one nearly use complains finish my life. Nothing was ever working for her. Then I saw a picture of her parents, her mother is very robust and glowing while her father is like dried fish. Meaning She inherited the complains and nagging from her mother, for the father to be looking that way.

Even when She ran to another relationship, She continued slandering her man despite all his efforts to make her happy because the guy housed her, feeding her and taking good care of her but the complains still persisted and even tried packing her bags and running back to me.

The third one is another story. But I hold da one for neck because I became familiar with their tactics. The only thing I like about them is if you really understand the nature of things, you’ll see their behavior as a means to really focus 97 percent of your time and resources on your job and yourself. While you dedicate the remaining 3 percent to to making them happy. Otherwise, you’ll dry up trying to understand a creation God created.

That being said, from your write up, it seems you already know what women/your wife is capable of. I don’t know why you are still ranting.

The day you accept her just the way She is, and jokingly bring to her notice your efforts and her ungrateful behavior, you will begin to see changes. Also refrain from family visits. Na their all the problems deh come from.
Brotherly you have spoke very well. I don't want to sound tribalistic or sentimental but you see women you quoted from this area, they are just like that, full of nagging and also self centered.
