FangYuan: Hello House, I am 33 years old and I did NPower(N Teach) from January 2017 to December 2019. I was receiving the 30,000 monthly stipend and I have bank statement to prove payment, since Npower is a volunteer work and 2019 is a long time will it count.
My question is can I use this N power work experience to apply for Canada Express Entry under federal skilled worker? The duties I did were prepare lesson notes, teach and Mark scripts. Has anyone successfully used npower to claim foreign work experience points for Express Entry? What documents did IRCC ask for?
Thanks in advance. Tell yourself the truth, did you even attend the Ntech program fully for you to add it as part of your work experience, well probably those that have used it should tell you. |

Politics › Re: The Gbaja That I Know by abiolert(m): 5:23pm On Jul 05*. Modified: 8:55pm On Jul 06 |
IsaacAdetunji1: In recent days, a lot has been said about the controversy surrounding the alleged PFIPC appointment letters, with attempts to drag the name of the Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, into the matter. While it is right that every issue of public concern should be investigated, it is equally important that such discussions are guided by facts and not assumptions.
Those who have worked within the Federal Government understand that the Office of the Chief of Staff is primarily a coordinating office. Its responsibility is to support the President by coordinating schedules, policy implementation, and communication across government. It is not the office that ordinarily establishes ministries, departments, agencies, or councils, nor is it the office that typically issues formal appointment letters for statutory public offices.
Under Nigeria’s system of government, the creation of a federal agency or council follows a structured and well defined process. A policy proposal is developed and considered by the appropriate authorities. Where necessary, legal approval is obtained through legislation or executive action. Administrative responsibility is then assigned to the relevant ministry or supervising authority. Once approvals are completed, the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation SGF, working with the appropriate institutions, coordinates the formal administrative documentation.
Given this established process, it would be unusual to conclude that the Office of the Chief of Staff could independently create an agency or issue official appointments without the involvement of the institutions responsible for government administration.
The current controversy should therefore be approached with caution. If individuals forged documents, misrepresented government authority, or obtained documents through deception, those actions must be thoroughly investigated by the appropriate law enforcement agencies. If there were lapses within any government office, such investigations should clearly establish where responsibility lies.
However, beyond these institutional explanations, I feel compelled to speak from personal experience. I have worked directly with the chief of staff for over fifteen uninterrupted years, and I can confidently say that he is a very brilliant lawyer who approaches every matter with the discipline and precision of the law. He is extremely careful in his dealings and has consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to due process. He is not a man who would knowingly engage in any unlawful act or questionable arrangement.
It is important not to replace investigation with speculation. Allegations remain allegations until proven by credible evidence or determined by a court of law.
Those who truly know Femi Gbajabiamila understand that he is a public servant who has built his career on legal discipline, integrity, and respect for the rule of law. Like every public official, he is accountable, but that accountability must be grounded in evidence, not assumptions or guilt by association.
If innocent individuals have been unfairly drawn into the matter, they deserve to have their names cleared.
That is the Gbaja that I know, a careful, principled, and law abiding professional whose actions are guided by legal reasoning and integrity, not speculation or misconduct.
‘*Seun ODOFIN Esq* That's the gbaja that you know, but the one we and other sensible Nigerians know, is very much capable of fraud and in fact not new to allegations like this. So keep your sermon to yourself. See Gbaja see That Akwa Ibom man Akpabio, God will save them. |

AMINDA: The onus is on the president to make him do so, otherwise, it raises serious questions as to how deep the conspiracy is and inadvertently suggests that Gbajabiamila may not be acting alone. This is not even the second time similar accusations will be arising involving the Tchief of Staff. Very early in the administration, several persons have alleged that monies were paid to secure appointments. No previous administration or COS was embroiled in similar scandal of this nature. Buhari’s SGF, Babachir Lawal, was immediately suspended by Osinbajo who was then Acting President, when the grasscutting scandal came to limelight. Nigerians are watching. Gbaja should just resign. Let him go and rest. |

Former President Obasanjo's warning reinforces a point I made in my undergraduate research: many of the structural issues that contributed to the Nigerian Civil War were never fully resolved. While Nigeria has made progress since then, lasting peace and unity depend on addressing governance, inclusion, justice, and economic challenges through dialogue rather than allowing old grievances to fester. |

SportConn: For the first time in many years, there doesn't seem to be one overwhelming favorite.
Argentina are defending champions, but can they do it again? France remain a powerhouse despite squad changes.
Spain have emerged as one of the strongest young teams. Brazil always have world-class talent but have struggled to convert it into World Cup success.
England have one of the deepest squads on paper, yet expectations are always high.
Dark horses like Morocco, Portugal, Germany, and Netherlands are all capable of making deep runs.
With 48 teams, a new tournament format, and several rising football nations, surprises seem more likely than ever.
Do you think this is the most difficult World Cup to predict?
Who are your Top 4 favorites, and who do you think will lift the trophy? ⚽🏆 If your write up included Netherlands and Germany that have all been knocked out, then you did a poor job. |

Putting Nigerian on a list that contravenes forced labor law is laughable. In Nigeria there's no forced labor but people are force to do hazardous jobs because of the high poverty rate and very low profitable jobs.
Any increase on tax tariff on Nigerian businesses Will increase the poverty rate and swell the number of people forced to do hazardous jobs because of hunger That's the forced labour, without proper work conditions and laws backing the workers, I think the Nigerian government should regularizes Nigeria labour laws, if you don't have what it takes to pay your staff don't Open a business. |

Incognito403: There are many terrible civil servants. In fact the good ones are the minority.
Yet, that doesn't mean our government isn't equally or even more terrible.
In fact, our governshould be blamed for these crimes in civil service because the do not punish offenders except they're political opponents. And they prefer to spend fortunes on inflated projects instead of paying liveable wages.
Therefore, the terrible government lowered the barrier of entry to crime and weakened the desire for honesty. I totally support you on this. |

Namaster: Saying a First Class in Sociology is SUPERIOR to a 2.1 in Law is DELUSIONAL.
The courses listed by the OP are some of the MOST USELESS courses anybody can study in Nigeria TODAY. Regardless of what they graduate with.
IF you have kids, mentees or siblings looking for admission; this is a perfect list of courses to AVOID.
Unless their main target is POVERTY and UNEMPLOYMENT.
Also, getting a First Class Degree in English is almost IMPOSSIBLE.
I attended a School that's nearly 40 years old and they'd NEVER had a First Class Graduate in their English Department. You nailed it, you see the courses he listed, are the most useless courses in Nigeria, it's a total waste of time and resources, in fact the time spent to study them should be used judiciously to rear chicken and you will make huge profit. I studied one of the listed useless course, and it's a huge regret for me, I haven't used it for once except to parade it like a newspaper document. I graduated with a 2.1 though but na better waste of resources. |

If you think Nigerian politicians including Obi will come and change anything, you have to have a rethink. We need our country back from politicians. |

Hull City were promoted to the Premier League in dramatic fashion as Oli McBurnie’s last-gasp strike sealed a 1-0 win over Middlesbrough in the Championship play-off final on Saturday.
McBurnie punished a mistake from Middlesbrough goalkeeper Sol Brynn to bag the lucrative winner in the final moments of the second half at Wembley.
