WISDOM DIGEST FOR TODAY 17/2/2025 TOPIC: THE ROLE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT IN HEALING Bible Verse: "...But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you." — Romans 8:11 The Holy Spirit is the divine presence of God actively working in your life, including in the area of healing. He is the breath of life, the power behind miracles, and the comforter who brings peace in times of sickness and distress. When Jesus ministered on earth, He healed through the power of the Holy Spirit. Acts 10:38 says, "...God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power, who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with Him..." Just as Jesus healed through the Holy Spirit, that same Spirit dwells in you as a believer. He is the power that quickens your body, renews your strength, and brings supernatural restoration. MEDICAL INSIGHT: The Connection Between Peace and Healing The Holy Spirit brings peace, which has a direct impact on your health. Medical research shows that stress and anxiety weaken the immune system, slow down recovery, and increase the risk of disease. On the other hand, experiencing peace—especially through faith—can: 1 - Lower blood pressure and improve heart health. 2 - Reduce inflammation and promote faster healing. 3 - Strengthen mental well-being and emotional stability. When you allow the Holy Spirit to work in you, He brings a peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), which in turn promotes healing in your body. APPLICATION: Inviting the Holy Spirit’s Healing Presence 1. Pray for the Holy Spirit’s Healing Touch – Ask Him to fill you with His presence and bring restoration. Example: “...Holy Spirit, breathe life into my body. Fill me with Your power and heal every area of my life that needs restoration...” 2. Worship and Soak in God’s Presence – Healing flows in an atmosphere of worship. Spend time praising God, allowing the Holy Spirit to minister to you. 3. Speak in Faith and Declare Life Over Your Body – Declare Romans 8:11 over yourself: “...The same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead lives in me, and He gives life to my mortal body...” 4. Listen to the Holy Spirit’s Guidance – Sometimes, He may lead you to take practical steps like adjusting your diet, resting, or seeking medical care. Be sensitive to His voice. SELF - EXAMINATION: Are you allowing the Holy Spirit to work in your healing process? Do you create an atmosphere where His presence can dwell—through prayer, worship, and faith? How can you deepen your connection with the Holy Spirit for greater healing and restoration? The Holy Spirit is not just a force—He is your healer, your guide, and your comforter. Will you invite Him to bring wholeness into your life today? Welcome to a beautiful new week. God will continue to do good to you in all your endeavours. Yours Pastor Olanrewaju G L. |
WISDOM DIGEST FOR TODAY 16/2/2025 TOPIC: HEALING THROUGH PRAYER Bible Verse: "...Is any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he has committed sins, they shall be forgiven him..." James 5:14-15 Prayer is one of the most powerful tools God has given you for healing. In James 5:14-15, we see a clear instruction: if you are sick, pray. If necessary, involve spiritual leaders to stand with you in faith. Prayer is not just about asking—it’s about believing, receiving, and trusting in God’s healing power. Jesus often healed through prayer. He prayed for the sick, laid hands on them, and they recovered (Mark 1:40-42). Even when Lazarus had been dead for four days, Jesus prayed, thanking the Father in advance, and then called Lazarus back to life (John 11:41-44). Prayer is not a ritual; it is a divine connection that releases God’s power into your situation. MEDICAL INSIGHT: The Benefits of Prayer and Meditation on Health Scientific research has proven that prayer and meditation have significant health benefits. Studies show that regular prayer: 1 -- Reduces stress and anxiety by lowering cortisol levels. 2 -- Strengthens the immune system and enhances overall well-being. 3 -- Lowers blood pressure and improves heart health. 4 -- Promotes emotional healing by increasing feelings of peace and hope. Just as worry and fear can weaken your body, prayer and meditation can strengthen it. When you pray, your mind shifts from anxiety to trust, from fear to faith, activating the body's natural healing processes. APPLICATION: Daily Prayers for Healing and Restoration Healing prayer is not just for crisis moments—it should be a daily practice. Here’s how you can integrate healing prayers into your life: 1. Start Your Day with a Healing Prayer – Thank God for His healing power and declare His promises over your life. Example: “Lord, I trust You as my healer. Thank You for restoring my health and strengthening my body. I receive Your healing today in Jesus' name.” 2. Pray for Others Who Are Sick – Healing is not just for you; it’s also for those around you. Jesus healed many because of the faith of others (Matthew 8:5-13). 3. Use Scripture in Your Prayers – Speak healing verses over your life. Example: “...Father, Your Word says that the prayer of faith shall save the sick. I stand on James 5:14-15 and believe for complete healing in my body...” 4. Practice Meditative Prayer – Spend time in God’s presence, focusing on His peace and love. Breathe deeply, release stress, and allow His presence to refresh your soul. SELF - EXAMINATION: Are you making prayer your first response or your last resort? Do you truly believe that God hears and answers your prayers for healing? How can you strengthen your daily prayer life for greater restoration? God’s healing power is available to you through prayer. Will you take hold of it today? Happy Sunday to you. Make sure you worship God today in the beauty of His holiness and faith. You shall be highly blessed Your Pastor Olanrewaju G L. |
WISDOM DIGEST FOR TODAY 15/2/2025. TOPIC: THE POWER OF FAITH IN HEALING Bible Verse: "...And he said to her, Daughter, your faith has made you whole; go in peace, and be whole of your plague..." Mark 5:34 Faith is a powerful force in healing. In Mark 5, a woman who had suffered from a bleeding condition for twelve years believed that if she could just touch the hem of Jesus' garment, she would be healed. Despite years of failed treatments and disappointments, her faith was unwavering. The moment she acted on her belief, Jesus recognized her faith and declared her whole. This account shows that faith is not passive—it requires action. Faith pushes past fear, doubt, and obstacles. It reaches out to Jesus, believing that He has the power to restore. Just as this woman’s faith brought her healing, your faith can activate God’s power in your life. MEDICAL INSIGHT: The Placebo Effect and the Mind-Body Connection Science confirms that belief can play a significant role in healing. The placebo effect is a well-documented phenomenon where patients experience real improvements in their health simply because they believe they are receiving treatment, even if they are given a harmless substance. Studies have shown that faith and positive expectation can trigger the brain to release healing chemicals like endorphins and dopamine, reduce stress, and boost the immune system. This proves that what you believe influences your physical health. Just as fear and doubt can weaken you, faith and hope can strengthen your body’s ability to heal. APPLICATION: Strengthen Faith Through Prayer and Meditation Healing is not just about what you do—it’s about what you believe. Strengthening your faith through spiritual disciplines helps align your heart with God’s healing power. Doing these exercises regularly will strengthen your faith: 1. Pray with Expectation: Jesus said, "...Whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours..." (Mark 11:24). Approach God with confidence, knowing that He hears you. 2. Meditate on God’s Promises: Fill your mind with Scriptures about healing, such as Isaiah 53:5 ("...By His stripes, we are healed..." and Psalm 103:2-3 ("...He heals all your diseases..." .3. Speak Life Over Your Situation: Proverbs 18:21 says, "...Death and life are in the power of the tongue..." Speak faith-filled words over your health rather than fear or doubt. 4. Surround Yourself with Faith: Be around those who encourage and strengthen your faith rather than people who feed negativity and unbelief. SELF - EXAMINATION: Are you believing in God’s healing power, or are you letting doubt hold you back? How can you actively grow your faith today? What negative thoughts or words do you need to replace with faith-filled declarations? Jesus said, "...Your faith has made you whole..." Will you choose to believe in His power today? Do have a wonderful weekend full of success and happiness. Yours Pastor Olanrewaju G L. |
WISDOM DIGEST FOR TODAY 14/2/2025. TOPIC: GOD AS THE ULTIMATE HEALER Bible Verse: "...I am the Lord who heals you..." Exodus 15:26 From the very beginning, God revealed Himself as Jehovah Rapha—the Lord who heals. This declaration was made to the Israelites after He miraculously turned the bitter waters of Marah into sweet, drinkable water. Just as God provided healing and sustenance in the wilderness, He remains the ultimate healer in your life today. Whether you face physical sickness, emotional wounds, or spiritual struggles, God desires to restore you completely. JESUS CHRIST: The Healer Who Walked Among Us When Jesus came to earth, He demonstrated the healing nature of God. Everywhere He went, He healed the sick, restored the broken, and brought life to those who had lost hope. He healed the leper with a touch (Matthew 8:2-3), gave sight to the blind (John 9:1-7), and even raised the dead (John 11:43-44). His power to heal was not just a demonstration of divine authority—it was an expression of God’s deep love and mercy. The greatest healing Christ offers is not just physical but spiritual. Through His sacrifice on the cross, He provided healing for your soul, breaking the power of sin and death. Isaiah 53:5 declares, "By His stripes, we are healed." This healing is not only about diseases but about restoring your entire being—body, mind, and spirit—into wholeness. MEDICAL INSIGHT: The Body’s Natural Healing Ability God designed your body with an incredible ability to heal itself. When you get a cut, your blood clots to stop the bleeding, and new cells begin to regenerate. Your immune system fights off harmful invaders and repairs damaged tissues. Science confirms what Scripture has already declared—healing is built into creation. Just as God commanded the earth to bring forth life, He has also designed your body to recover and renew itself. APPLICATION: -- Trust in God and Honour Your Body as His Temple --- Healing requires both faith and action. You must trust God as your healer while also taking responsibility for your body, which is His temple. ---- Pray for Healing: Bring your concerns before God in faith, knowing that He cares for you (James 5:14-15). ----Take Care of Your Body: Eat nourishing foods, rest well, and exercise—your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). ---- Guard Your Heart and Mind: Emotional and spiritual health are just as important as physical health. Forgiveness, peace, and faith play a vital role in your overall well-being (Proverbs 17:22). SELF EXAMINATION: Do you trust God as your healer in all areas of your life—physically, emotionally, and spiritually? Are you taking care of your body in a way that honours Him? How can you align your faith and actions to walk in divine health? God is still the healer today, and He desires for you to experience His restoration. Whether through miraculous intervention, medical treatment, or the body's natural healing process, all healing comes from Him. Will you place your trust in the One who made you and knows exactly how to restore you? Welcome to a beautiful day and weekend. God will restore your health and grant you peace of mind. WISDOM DIGEST FOR TODAY 13/2/2025 TOPIC: INTEGRITY IN MISSION – Christ’s Resurrection BIBLE VERSE: "...It is finished..." John 19:30 These were some of the last words Jesus spoke before His death on the cross. They were not words of defeat but of victory and fulfillment. Jesus had completed His mission exactly as God intended—without compromise, without shortcuts, and with full obedience. From His birth to His resurrection, Jesus lived with unwavering integrity. He remained faithful to His divine purpose, enduring rejection, persecution, and suffering without deviating from God’s plan. Even when He was tempted in the wilderness (Matthew 4:1-11) and when He prayed in Gethsemane (Luke 22:42), He stayed true to His mission. The resurrection of Christ is the ultimate proof that integrity in mission leads to victory. If Jesus had abandoned His mission or compromised, there would be no salvation. But because He remained faithful, we have eternal life. This teaches you that God calls you to complete your own mission with integrity. Whether in ministry, business, relationships, or personal growth, you must avoid shortcuts, dishonesty, or selfish ambitions. True success comes from staying faithful to God’s purpose, even when it is difficult. LESSON: Jesus finished His mission with integrity—He did not quit or compromise. God honours those who remain faithful to their purpose despite challenges. Shortcuts may seem appealing, but true success comes through perseverance. The resurrection proves that integrity in mission leads to ultimate victory. SELF-ANALYSIS: Am I fully committed to fulfilling God’s purpose for my life? Do I take shortcuts or compromise when faced with difficulties? Am I staying true to my calling, even when it requires sacrifice? How can I ensure that I finish my mission with the same integrity that Christ demonstrated? PRAYER: Lord Jesus, thank You for remaining faithful to Your mission and finished the work God gave You with integrity. Help me to follow Your example. Give me the strength to stay committed to my purpose, even when faced with challenges. Keep me from seeking shortcuts or compromising my values. May I fulfill my calling with the same dedication, obedience, and perseverance that You showed. In Jesus’ name, Amen. Welcome to a beautiful day with peace of mind and prosperity. Yours Pastor Olanrewaju G L |
WISDOM DIGEST FOR TODAY 12/2/2025 TOPIC: INTEGRITY IN SUFFERING – Christ on the Cross BIBLE VERSE: "...Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do...". Luke 23:34 As Jesus hung on the cross, enduring excruciating pain and humiliation, He had every reason—by human standards—to be angry, bitter, or seek revenge. He was falsely accused, betrayed by His own people, abandoned by His disciples, and subjected to brutal torture. Yet, in His suffering, He demonstrated the highest form of integrity: He forgave. Instead of cursing His persecutors or calling down divine judgment, Jesus prayed for them. He did not allow suffering to change His character. His integrity remained intact even in the face of injustice, pain, and death. This moment on the cross teaches you that true integrity is not just about doing what is right when life is easy—it is about holding on to righteousness even in suffering. Many people compromise their values when they are mistreated. They respond to injustice with bitterness, revenge, or dishonesty. But Jesus showed that integrity means staying true to God’s standard, no matter how difficult the circumstances. Forgiveness is a test of integrity. It is easy to hold grudges, seek revenge, or justify bitterness when we are wronged. But Christ’s example challenges you: Can you forgive those who hurt you? Can you remain righteous when facing injustice? LESSON: Integrity is tested in suffering—will you hold on to righteousness or compromise? Jesus chose forgiveness over retaliation, showing the ultimate example of godly integrity. Bitterness and revenge may feel justified, but they destroy character and faith. True integrity means remaining faithful to God’s ways, even in the worst trials. SELF-ANALYSIS: Do I hold on to my integrity when facing injustice, or do I retaliate? Am I willing to forgive those who have wronged me, as Christ forgave on the cross? Does suffering change my character, or do I stay committed to righteousness? How can I respond to trials in a way that reflects Christ’s integrity? PRAYER: Lord Jesus, thank You for showing perfect integrity even in suffering. When You were betrayed, beaten, and crucified, You chose to forgive instead of retaliate. Help me to follow Your example. Give me the strength to hold on to righteousness when I face injustice. Fill my heart with love and forgiveness, even when I am wronged. Let my life reflect Your character in all situations. In Jesus’ name, Amen. Welcome to another beautiful day. God will specially bless you and give you peace of mind. Your Pastor Olanrewaju G L. |
WISDOM DIGEST FOR TODAY 11/2/2025. TOPIC: INTEGRITY IN SPEECH – Christ Before Pilate "...For this cause I was born, and for this cause I have come into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice..."John 18:37 When Jesus stood before Pilate, facing the possibility of being released or condemned to crucifixion, He did not change His message to gain favour or escape suffering. He boldly declared the truth of His mission: He came to bear witness to the truth. Even when Pilate asked, “What is truth?” (John 18:38), Jesus did not waver. At that moment, Jesus could have defended Himself, twisted His words, or remained silent to avoid the cross. Instead, He chose to speak the truth without compromise, knowing that truth was more important than public approval or personal safety. This moment teaches you a powerful lesson: Integrity in speech means standing by the truth, even when it is difficult. Many people alter their words to fit in, gain favour, or avoid conflict. But Jesus showed that true character is revealed when you refuse to compromise, even under pressure. Your words should always reflect honesty, righteousness, and courage. Lies, exaggeration, or deceptive speech may bring temporary relief, but they ultimately lead to a loss of credibility and spiritual compromise. Jesus calls you to be people of truth, just as He was. LESSON: Integrity in speech means standing by the truth, no matter the consequences. Jesus did not manipulate His words for approval or self-preservation. Speaking the truth requires courage, especially when it is unpopular. True integrity is revealed when you refuse to compromise under pressure. SELF-ANALYSIS: Do I change my words to fit in or gain favour? Am I willing to stand for the truth, even when it costs me? Do I exaggerate or manipulate my speech for personal gain? How can I ensure that my words always reflect honesty and integrity? PRAYER: Lord Jesus, Thank you for demonstrating integrity in speech. You stood for truth even when it led to the cross. Help me to have the same courage and integrity in my speech. Keep me from lying, exaggerating, or compromising to gain approval. Let my words always reflect honesty and righteousness. Fill my heart with truth so that my speech will honour You in all situations. In Jesus’ name, Amen. Welcome to a beautiful day with peace of mind and prosperity in all aspects of your life. Yours Pastor Olanrewaju G L. |
WISDOM DIGEST FOR TODAY 10/2/2025 TOPIC : INTEGRITY IN COMPASSION – Christ’s Care for the Marginalized BIBLE VERSE: "...When the Lord saw her, He had compassion on her and said to her, ‘Do not weep...’" Luke 7:13 Lord Jesus’ integrity was not only seen in His words and actions but also in His compassion. In Luke 7, Lord Jesus encountered a grieving widow who had lost her only son. In that time, widows had little social or financial support, making her situation even more devastating. When Jesus saw her, He did not walk away or ignore her pain. Instead, He was moved with compassion and acted—He raised her son from the dead. Throughout His ministry, Lord Jesus consistently showed care for the weak, the poor, the sick, and the outcasts: He healed the lepers (Luke 17:11-19)—those whom society had rejected. He defended the woman caught in adultery (John 8:3-11)—showing mercy instead of condemnation. He ate with sinners and tax collectors (Luke 5:30-32)—breaking social norms to bring love and restoration. Jesus never showed favouritism. Whether it was a wealthy ruler like Nicodemus (John 3:1-21) or a despised tax collector like Zacchaeus (Luke 19:1-10), His love was consistent. True integrity means treating people with fairness and kindness, not based on their status, wealth, or popularity. Many people act kindly when they are being watched, but Jesus’ compassion was not a performance—it was a reflection of His heart. His love and justice did not change based on circumstances, and He calls us to live with the same consistency. LESSON: Integrity means showing compassion to all, regardless of their background or status. True love is not selective; it is consistent and just. Lord Jesus’ care for the marginalized teaches you to love without bias or favouritism. Integrity is tested when no one is watching—do you still uphold righteousness? SELF-ANALYSIS: Do I treat people with fairness, or do I show favouritism? Am I compassionate toward the weak, or do I only help when I will benefit? Do I uphold righteousness in private, even when no one is watching? How can I reflect Christ’s compassion in my daily interactions? PRAYER: Lord Jesus, thank You for showing love and compassion to those whom society rejected. Help me to love others with the same integrity and sincerity. Teach me to treat all people with fairness, without favoritism or personal gain. Give me a heart that reflects Your compassion, especially when no one is watching. May my actions be a true reflection of Your love and justice. In Jesus’ name, Amen. You are welcome to a bright new week full of success and peace of mind. Yours Pastor Olanrewaju G L. |
WISDOM DIGEST FOR TODAY 9/2/2025. TOPIC: INTEGRITY IN SERVICE – Christ Washing the Disciples’ Feet BIBLE VERSE "...When He had washed their feet and put on His outer garments and resumed His place, He said to them, ‘Do you understand what I have done for you? You call Me Teacher and Lord, and you are right, for so I am. If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet. I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you...’" John 13:12-15. In biblical times, washing feet was a task reserved for the lowest servants. Yet, on the night before His crucifixion, Jesus—the Son of God—knelt before His disciples and washed their feet. This act was more than a simple gesture of kindness; it was a lesson in integrity and humility. Jesus did not serve for recognition, applause, or reward. He served because true leadership is about serving others with a sincere heart. His integrity in service was rooted in love, not self-interest. Even Judas, who would betray Him, had his feet washed by Christ, showing that integrity in service does not discriminate—it serves all, even those who may not appreciate it. Many people serve when there is something to gain—whether it’s status, praise, or influence. But Jesus showed that the highest form of integrity is serving with a pure heart, expecting nothing in return. LESSON: Integrity in service means putting others before yourself, just as Jesus did. True leadership is about humility, not self-promotion. Serving with integrity means doing good even when no one is watching. Christ’s example challenges you to serve with love, even when it is inconvenient. SELF ANALYSIS: Do I serve others with a sincere heart, or do I seek self-promotion? Am I willing to do humble tasks, or do I only serve when I receive recognition? Do I show love and kindness to those who cannot repay me? How can I develop a servant’s heart like Jesus? PRAYER: Lord Jesus, I thank You for showing me the greatest example of humble service when You washed the feet of Your disciples. Teach me to serve with a pure heart, not for recognition but out of love. Remove pride and selfish ambition from my heart, and help me to embrace humility in all I do. Give me the grace to serve even when it is difficult, knowing that I am following in Your footsteps. May my service reflect Your love and bring glory to Your name. In Jesus’ name, Amen. Welcome to the day of the Lord. Worship God in the beauty of His holiness and He will bless you Yours Pastor Olanrewaju G L. |
WISDOM DIGEST FOR TODAY 8/2/2025 TOPIC: INTEGRITY IN TRUTH – Christ’s Honesty BIBLE VERSE: "...I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me..." John 14:6 Jesus did not just speak the truth—He was the truth. Every word He spoke and every action He took reflected the pure and unchanging nature of God. He never deceived, manipulated, or misled anyone, even when the truth was unpopular or dangerous. Throughout His ministry: He boldly proclaimed truth to religious leaders, calling out hypocrisy (Matthew 23:27-28). He spoke truth to sinners, offering them a path to redemption (John 8:3-11). He told His disciples difficult truths about His suffering, death, and resurrection, even when they struggled to accept it (Matthew 16:21-23). Jesus’ commitment to truth cost Him everything. He was arrested, falsely accused, and crucified, yet He did not waver. Even when standing before Pilate, He did not twist His words to escape suffering (John 18:37). His integrity in truth remained unshaken. In a world where lying, exaggeration, and deception are often used for personal gain, Jesus calls you to uphold truth, no matter the cost. Speaking the truth is not always easy—it can make you unpopular or lead to hardship—but integrity demands honesty in both words and actions. LESSON: Integrity means standing for truth, even when it is inconvenient or costly. Jesus never manipulated or twisted facts—His words and actions were always aligned. Honesty builds trust and reflects the character of Christ. Truth is not just what you say but how you live—your life should be a reflection of Christ’s truth. SELF EXAMINATION: Do my words and actions align with truth, or do I alter facts for personal gain? Am I honest in my dealings with others, or do I manipulate situations for my advantage? When faced with pressure, do I remain truthful, or do I compromise to fit in or avoid consequences? How can I cultivate a deeper commitment to truth in my daily life? PRAYER: Lord Jesus, You are the way, the truth, and the life. Help me to walk in Your truth and to speak with honesty and integrity. Remove any fear that tempts me to compromise or twist the truth for personal gain. Strengthen me to stand firm in righteousness, even when it is difficult. Let my words and actions reflect Your character so that others may see You in me. Fill my heart with truth and guide my steps in integrity. In Jesus' name, Amen. Welcome to a beautiful weekend full of joy and happiness with peace of mind. Yours Pastor Olanrewaju G L. |
WISDOM DIGEST FOR TODAY 7/2/2025. TOPIC: INTEGRITY IN TEMPTATION – Christ in the Wilderness BIBLE PASSAGE: In Matthew 4:1-11 – Jesus was tempted but refused to compromise His integrity. After fasting for forty days and nights, Jesus faced one of the most intense trials of His earthly life. Satan came to Him with three powerful temptations, each designed to make Him compromise His integrity and divine mission: 1. TEMPTATION OF PHYSICAL NEEDS: (Matthew 4:3-4) – Satan urged Jesus to turn stones into bread, exploiting His physical hunger. But Jesus refused, choosing to rely on God's provision rather than misuse His power. LESSON: Integrity means trusting God's timing and provision rather than taking shortcuts to satisfy immediate desires. 2. TEMPTATION OF FAME AND VALIDATION: (Matthew 4:5-7) – Satan took Jesus to the pinnacle of the temple, suggesting that He should throw Himself down to prove His identity as the Son of God. But Jesus rejected the need for human validation, refusing to test God. LESSON: True integrity does not seek to prove itself through reckless actions or prideful displays. 3. TEMPTATION OF POWER AND WEALTH: (Matthew 4:8-10) – Satan offered Jesus all the kingdoms of the world if He would bow down and worship him. Jesus refused, declaring that only God is worthy of worship. LESSON: Integrity means rejecting ungodly means to gain power, influence, or success. At every stage, Jesus resisted by relying on God’s Word rather than emotions or personal desires. His example teaches you that temptation often appears as an easy way out, but integrity means standing firm in righteousness. LESSON: Integrity means resisting temptations, even when they seem beneficial. Satan’s tactics often involve shortcuts that compromise your values—be vigilant! Using God's Word as a defense against temptation is the key to maintaining integrity. Real power comes from obedience to God, not from the world’s offers of success. SELF-ANALYSIS: Am I allowing my desires to lead me into compromises? Do I use Scripture to combat temptation, as Jesus did? Am I willing to turn down opportunities that may bring success but require me to compromise my values? What are the temptations in my life that challenge my integrity, and how can I overcome them? PRAYER: Heavenly Father, thank You for the example of Jesus, who stood firm against temptation. Strengthen me to resist the allure of shortcuts, easy gains, and compromises that pull me away from Your will. Fill my heart with discernment to recognize the enemy’s traps and the courage to say no to anything that dishonour You. Help me to rely on Your Word as my source of strength. May my life reflect the integrity of Christ in all that I do. In Jesus’ name, Amen. Happy weekend with full of God's favour in all aspects of your life. Yours Pastor Olanrewaju G L. |
WISDOM DIGEST FOR TODAY 6/2/2025. TOPIC: INTEGRITY IN OBEDIENCE – Christ’s Submission to God BIBLE VERSE: "...For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me..." John 6:38. Jesus’ life was a perfect example of unwavering obedience to God’s will. From the moment He entered the world, His mission was not self-driven but God-directed. Even when obedience led Him to suffering, rejection, and ultimately the cross, He remained steadfast. His submission was not selective or dependent on circumstances—it was a lifelong commitment. True integrity is revealed in obedience, especially when it is inconvenient or painful. Many people obey when it benefits them, but Christ obeyed even when it cost Him everything. His entire life—His teachings, miracles, humility, and sacrifice—demonstrated a heart that was fully aligned with the Father’s purpose. When faced with temptations in the wilderness (Matthew 4:1-11), Jesus chose God's word over personal gain. In the Garden of Gethsemane (Luke 22:42), He submitted to the Father’s will, even though He knew it meant suffering. On the cross, He fulfilled His mission, showing that integrity in obedience means following through to the very end. LESSON Obedience is not about convenience but about commitment. God’s will often challenges personal desires, but true integrity means surrendering to His purpose. Like Jesus, your obedience must be unwavering, even when the path is difficult. SELF-ANALYSIS: Do I obey God only when it aligns with my personal desires? How do I respond when obedience to God requires sacrifice? Am I willing to trust God's plan, even when I do not fully understand it? Are there areas in my life where I struggle to submit to God's will? PRAYER: Heavenly Father, I acknowledge that Your ways are higher than mine. Just as Jesus submitted completely to Your will, help me to walk in obedience, even when it is difficult. Strengthen me to remain steadfast in my faith and not waver when faced with trials. Give me the grace to trust You fully, knowing that Your plans for me are perfect. Remove any fear, doubt, or selfish desires that may hinder my obedience. Let my life reflect the integrity of Christ, and may my actions glorify You in all things.Thank you for answering my prayers in Jesus' name, Amen. Share this message to your family and friends. Yours Pastor Olanrewaju G L. |
WISDOM DIGEST FOR TODAY 5/2/2025 TOPIC: - DEFEND THE OPPRESSED BIBLE VERSE: "...Let the one who has never sinned throw the first stone!..." John 8:7. Have you ever seen someone being unfairly treated and felt the urge to step in? Jesus was never silent in the face of injustice. When the religious leaders dragged a woman before Him, ready to stone her for adultery, they expected Him to approve of their judgment. Instead, Jesus challenged them, exposing their own sinfulness and calling for mercy rather than condemnation. You, too, are surrounded by people who face unfair treatment—whether due to their mistakes, their background, or circumstances beyond their control. Jesus didn’t ignore injustice, and neither should you. He calls you to be a voice for the voiceless, to show mercy instead of judgment, and to stand up for those who are weak or oppressed. Sometimes, defending others means speaking out; other times, it means offering quiet support and encouragement. Either way, your actions should reflect the heart of Christ. SELF - EXAMINATON: Jesus didn’t excuse sin, but He also didn’t allow the self-righteous to destroy someone who needed grace. He reminded the accusers that none of them were without fault. How often do you judge others while forgetting your own shortcomings? Do you take time to understand the struggles of those around you, or do you stand by as they are mistreated? Look at your surroundings. Is there someone in your family, workplace, church, or community facing unfair criticism, rejection, or mistreatment? Jesus calls you to stand for truth and mercy, just as He did. ACTION STEPS: Find a way to stand up for someone today. It could be defending a person who is being judged harshly, speaking out against unfair treatment, or offering encouragement to someone feeling condemned. Show kindness, advocate for justice, and remind others of God’s mercy. PRAYER Lord Jesus, You stood up for the weak, the outcast, and the broken. You defended those whom others condemned. WISDOM DIGEST FOR TODAY 4/2/2025. TOPIC: - TEACH AND GUIDE OTHERS BIBLE REFERENCE:: "...Then He opened their minds to understand the Scriptures..." Luke 24:45 Have you ever had a moment when a truth finally made sense to you? A time when something that seemed confusing suddenly became clear because someone explained it to you? That’s what Jesus did for His disciples. He didn’t just teach them facts; He opened their minds so they could truly understand. He guided them into wisdom, showing them how to live in alignment with God’s truth. You have the ability to do the same. There are people in your life who need guidance—spiritually, emotionally, or even practically. Whether it's teaching someone about faith, sharing financial wisdom, or offering advice on personal growth, your knowledge can be a blessing to others. Jesus didn’t keep wisdom to Himself; He shared it freely so that others could grow. He calls you to do the same. SELF - EXAMINATION: Jesus knew that true transformation comes through understanding. That’s why He patiently taught His followers, answering their questions and guiding them toward truth. He wasn’t just concerned with meeting temporary needs—He wanted to equip people for a lifetime of wisdom. What about you? Are you intentional about sharing what you’ve learned with others? Do you take time to help people grow in their faith, in their decisions, and in their journey of life? God has placed wisdom within you—not just for your benefit, but so that you can uplift and guide others. ACTION STEPS: Share something valuable you’ve learned with someone today. It could be a Bible truth, a financial principle, or personal growth advice. You might mentor a young believer, help a friend make a wise decision, or even post an encouraging message on social media. However you do it, let your words be a source of guidance and light. PRAYER: Lord Jesus, You are the greatest teacher. You opened the minds of Your disciples and led them into truth. Help me to follow Your example. Give me the wisdom to understand and the willingness to share what I have learned. Let my words and actions guide others closer to You. May I be a light to those seeking direction. Thank You for giving me the opportunity to grow and to help others grow as well. In Jesus' name, Amen. . Welcome to a beautiful day with peace of mind and prosperity Yours Pastor Olanrewaju G L. |
WISDOM DIGEST FOR TODAY 3/2/2025. TOPIC: ENCOURAGE THE BROKENHEARTED BIBLE VERSE: "...Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest..." Matthew 11:28 Have you ever felt so burdened that you didn’t know how to move forward? Life can be overwhelming, and there are moments when you feel exhausted—physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Jesus understands that pain. That’s why He didn’t just teach about endurance; He invited the weary to come to Him for rest. You don’t have to carry your burdens alone. Jesus is always ready to give you peace in the midst of chaos. But He also calls you to be His hands and feet—to encourage others who feel brokenhearted. There are people around you who are struggling, some in ways you may not even realize. A kind word, a listening ear, or a reminder of God’s promises can bring hope to someone who feels lost. SELF - EXAMINATION: Jesus never ignored those who were struggling. He comforted the brokenhearted, lifted the weary, and gave hope to those who had none. His words weren’t empty—they carried power, life, and healing. What about you? Do you notice when people around you are hurting? Are you willing to be a source of encouragement, even if it requires stepping out of your comfort zone? Sometimes, a simple conversation, a reassuring message, or a heartfelt prayer can make a difference in someone’s life. Jesus calls you to be a light in the darkness. ACTION STEPS: Today, reach out to someone who is struggling. It could be a friend who is discouraged, a family member going through a hard time, or even a stranger who looks like they need a kind word. Send a message, make a phone call, or meet them in person. Offer them encouragement, remind them that they are not alone, and, if possible, pray for them. PRAYER Lord Jesus, thank You for being my strength. You are the source of true rest and peace. When I am weary, You lift me up. When I feel broken, You heal me. Help me to extend that same love to others. Open my eyes to see those who are struggling. Give me the right words to encourage them and the wisdom to know how to help. May my life be a reflection of Your compassion and grace. Thank You for answering my prayers in Jesus’ name, Amen. WISDOM DIGEST FOR TODAY 2/2/2025. TOPIC: YOU CAN HEAL THE SICK LIKE JESUS BIBLE REFERENCE: "...He took our infirmities and bore our diseases..." – Matthew 8:17 Have you ever seen someone suffering from sickness and felt helpless? Jesus never turned away from the sick—He touched them, spoke life into them, and healed them. He did not just offer words of comfort; He took action. His healings were a demonstration of God's power and love, restoring people physically, emotionally, and spiritually. You have been called to follow in His footsteps. While you may not have the power to heal in the same way Jesus did, you can still bring healing to those around you. Your prayers, your presence, and your love can bring hope to the sick. Whether through encouragement, a helping hand, or simply being there for someone, you have the ability to reflect Christ’s healing touch in the lives of others. SELF- EXAMINATION Jesus didn’t ignore sickness—He confronted it. He showed that illness is not just a physical issue but also a burden that weighs on the heart and mind. When He healed people, He gave them more than just health; He restored their hope, dignity, and faith. What about you? Are there people in your life who are struggling with illness? Maybe a family member, a friend, or a neighbour? Sometimes, all they need is someone who cares, someone who will pray for them, encourage them, or even just sit with them in their time of need. Jesus calls you to be that person. ACTION STEPS: Visit someone who is sick, whether at home or in the hospital. Pray for their healing and encourage them with words of faith. If you know a caregiver, offer them support—they, too, carry a heavy burden. If you cannot visit in person, send a message, make a call, or provide assistance in any way you can. PRAYER: Lord Jesus, Thank You for being our ultimate source of health and strength. You are the Great Healer. You bore our sickness and took our infirmities so that we could be free. Help me to see those who are suffering and respond with love and compassion in Jesus' name, Amen. Happy first Sunday of the month of February. Worship God today in the beauty of His holiness. Jesus Christ will give you rest from all the battles of life. Yours Pastor Olanrewaju G L |
WISDOM DIGEST FOR TODAY 1/2/2025. FEED THE HUNGRY BIBLE REFERENCE: "...They all ate and were satisfied, and the disciples picked up twelve basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over..." – Matthew 14:20 Have you ever been so hungry that you couldn’t focus on anything else? Hunger is a powerful need, and Jesus understood that. When He saw the large crowd following Him, He didn’t just teach them—He fed them. He knew that people don’t only need spiritual nourishment; they also need food to sustain them physically. You may not have the ability to perform miracles like multiplying bread and fish, but you do have something to offer. There are people around you who are struggling to put food on their tables, who go to bed hungry, or who simply need a small gesture of kindness. Jesus calls you to meet both spiritual and physical needs. True love is not just about words—it is about action. SELF - EXAMINATION: Jesus didn’t ignore the hunger of the people. He took what little was available, blessed it, and made it more than enough. He showed that even a small offering can have a big impact when placed in God’s hands. What about you? Are you sensitive to the needs of those around you? Sometimes, people suffer in silence, unsure of where their next meal will come from. God has blessed you so that you can be a blessing to others. Instead of thinking, “I don’t have much to give,” ask yourself, “What do I have that I can share?” ACTION STEPS: Provide food for someone in need today. This could mean preparing a meal for a struggling neighbour, donating to a food bank, supporting a charity that feeds the hungry, or even paying for someone’s meal. Whatever you do, do it with a heart like Jesus—giving without expecting anything in return. PRAYER: Lord Jesus, You showed us that love is more than words—it is action. You saw the hunger of the people and fed them abundantly. Open my eyes to the needs around me. Give me a heart that is willing to give, even when I feel like I don’t have much. Help me trust that You can multiply whatever I offer. Thank You for providing for me daily. Use me as an instrument of Your love, so that no one in my presence goes hungry, physically or spiritually. In Jesus’ name, Amen. Happy new month full of success, peace of mind, wellness, abundance of God's favour and protection. Share this message to your family and friends. Yours Pastor Olanrewaju G L. |
WISDOM DIGEST FOR TODAY 31/1/2025. TOPIC : SERVE OTHERS WITH COMPASSION BIBLE VERSE: "...When He saw the crowds, He had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd..." Matthew 9:36 Have you ever looked at someone and truly seen their pain? Jesus did. He didn’t just glance at the crowds—He saw them. He noticed their struggles, their burdens, their exhaustion. He understood that they were lost, like sheep without a shepherd. But He didn’t stop at feeling sorry for them—He acted. He healed, He taught, and He provided for their needs. You are called to do the same. Compassion is not just a feeling; it is an action. It is seeing someone’s struggles and stepping in to help. In a world filled with people weighed down by stress, grief, and hardship, you have the opportunity to reflect Christ’s love through your kindness. SELF - EXAMINATION: Jesus’ ministry was built on compassion. He didn’t wait for people to come to Him; He went to them. He noticed the ones society ignored. He took time to listen, to heal, and to restore hope. What about you? Do you truly see the people around you? Do you take time to care, or are you too busy with your own life? Today, Jesus invites you to pause and open your heart to others. Someone needs your kindness today—will you respond? ACTION STEPS: Look around you today. Find someone in need of kindness or encouragement and offer it freely. It could be a co-worker who feels overwhelmed, a family member who needs a listening ear, or a stranger who could use a smile. A small act of compassion can change someone’s day—and even their life. PRAYER: Lord Jesus, You are the perfect example of compassion. You saw the crowds, felt their pain, and took action. Open my eyes to truly see those around me who are struggling. Soften my heart to care for them as You do. Help me to be an instrument of Your love today. Let my words bring encouragement and my actions bring hope. Give me the wisdom to know how to serve and the courage to step forward in kindness. Thank You for showing me what true compassion looks like. May I reflect Your love in all that I do. Amen. Welcome to a beautiful end of the month of January with peace of mind and prosperity. You will flourish through the grace of God. Share the message to your family and friends. Yours Pastor Olanrewaju G L. |
WISDOM DIGEST FOR TODAY 30/1/2025. TOPIC:- THE JOY OF RESURRECTION AND VICTORY The joy of resurrection and victory is the profound celebration of Jesus’ triumph over sin, death, and the grave. It brings hope, assurance, and unshakable peace, knowing that His victory secures eternal life for believers. This joy empowers you to overcome challenges, live boldly, and rejoice in God’s redeeming love. JESUS' LIFE EXAMPLE: In Matthew 28:6, the angel proclaimed the joyous news: “...He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay...” Jesus' resurrection is the foundation of our faith as believers and the ultimate display of His victory over sin, death, and the grave. Through His resurrection, He secured eternal life for all who believe in Him, and this brings unshakable joy to His followers. Jesus' triumph ensures that no challenge, trial, or hardship can defeat you because He has already overcome the world (John 16:33). His resurrection transforms sorrow into joy, fear into hope, and defeat into victory. SELF - EXAMINATION: The resurrection of Jesus reminds you that no matter how dark the situation may seem, victory is assured in Christ. Every trial, setback, or failure you face has been conquered by His power. Joy comes from the confidence that nothing—neither sin, death, nor circumstances—can separate us from the love of God (Romans 8:37–39). Consider: Are you living in the joy of resurrection victory, or are you weighed down by life’s challenges? What steps can you take to remind yourself of the victory you have in Christ? ACTION STEP: 1. Celebrate your victory in Christ through an act of worship today: -- Sing a song of praise that declares Jesus’ victory. -- Meditate on God’s promises in Scripture, such as John 11:25–26 or 1 Corinthians 15:55–57. -- Share your testimony with someone, encouraging them with how Christ’s resurrection power has worked in your life. 2. Thank God for His faithfulness and the assurance of victory in all areas of your life. PRAYER: Heavenly Father, thank You for the joy of resurrection and the victory we have in Jesus Christ. Because He lives, I have hope, peace, and the assurance that no challenge I face is greater than Your power. Help me to walk in the joy of this victory daily, trusting in Your promises and sharing the good news with others. Thank You for conquering sin and death so I can live in freedom and joy. In Jesus’ name, Amen. Welcome to a bright new day full of success and happiness with peace of mind. Share this message to your family and friends. Yours Pastor Olanrewaju G L. |
WISDOM DIGEST FOR TODAY 29/1/2025. TOPIC: THE JOY OF TRUSTING GOD'S PLAN The Joy of Trusting God's Plan is the peace, assurance, and fulfillment that come from surrendering to God’s divine purpose. It’s the confidence that His ways are perfect, even amid uncertainty, bringing inner contentment, resilience, and unwavering hope as His promises unfold in ways far greater than imagined. JESUS' LIFE EXAMPLE: Hebrews 12:2 reminds us of Jesus' unwavering trust in God’s plan: “...For the joy set before Him, He endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God...” Even as He faced the agony of the cross, Jesus looked beyond the immediate pain to the joy of fulfilling His mission—redeeming humanity and glorifying the Father through the cross. His trust in God’s plan gave Him the strength to endure suffering and the assurance of ultimate victory. Jesus’ example teaches you that trusting God’s plan doesn’t mean the journey will be easy, but it assures you of a joyful outcome. When you align yourself with His purpose, you can face challenges with peace, knowing His plan is perfect and His promises are true. SELF - EXAMINATION: Trusting God’s plan can be difficult, especially when His ways are unclear or the path is filled with challenges. However, surrendering to His will brings joy and freedom, as you rely on His wisdom rather than your own understanding. Trusting God means believing that His plans are for your good (Jeremiah 29:11), even when circumstances seem uncertain. Consider: Is there an area in your life where you are struggling to trust God? What is keeping you from surrendering it fully to Him? ACTION STEPS: 1. Reflect on one specific area in your life where you need to trust God more—this could be related to your health, relationships, career, or a personal challenge. 2. Write it down as an act of acknowledgment. 3. Pray and surrender that area to God, trusting Him to work according to His perfect plan. 4. Thank Him in advance for what He will do, even if the outcome isn’t yet visible. PRAYER: Heavenly Father, thank You for Your perfect plan for my life. I confess that it’s not always easy to trust when the path is uncertain or challenging. Help me to place my faith fully in You, knowing that You work all things together for good. I surrender [mention the area you wrote down] to You and choose to trust in Your wisdom, timing, and provision. Fill my heart with the joy and peace that come from walking in alignment with Your will. In Jesus’ name, Amen. Welcome to a beautiful day with peace of mind and prosperity in all aspects of your life. God bless you as you share the message to your family and friends. Yours Pastor Olanrewaju G L |
WISDOM DIGEST FOR TODAY 28/1/2025 TOPIC: THE JOY OF PRAYER AND COMMUNION The joy of prayer and communion is the profound peace and delight experienced in connecting with God through intimate fellowship. It refreshes the soul, aligns your heart with His will, and fills you with His presence. In prayer, burdens are lifted, faith is strengthened, and His joy becomes your strength. JESUS' LIFE EXAMPLE: Luke 5:16 says, “...But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed...” Despite the demands of His ministry, Jesus made time for prayer and communion with the Father. In these moments, He found strength, clarity, and joy. Whether before significant events or after long days of serving others, Jesus prioritized this sacred connection. Prayer wasn’t just a routine for Him—it was His source of renewal and alignment with God’s will. Through prayer, Jesus modelled dependence on the Father, showing us the importance of staying connected to God to navigate life’s challenges and fulfill our purpose with joy. SELF - EXAMINATION: Prayer is more than speaking to God; it is a divine exchange where you pour out your heart and receive His peace, wisdom, and joy in return. Spending time in prayer aligns your heart with God, helping you trust in His plan and experience the fullness of His presence. When you draw near to God in prayer, He fills you with His peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:6–7). In these sacred moments, you find rest for your soul and joy that sustains you even in the midst of life’s trials. Consider: Are you making prayer a priority in your daily life? How can you deepen your communion with God today? ACTION STEPS: 1. Set aside extra time today to pray and commune with God. 2. Share your burdens, fears, and desires with Him, trusting that He hears and cares for you. 3. Spend time thanking Him for His faithfulness, reflecting on the blessings He has provided. 4. Rest quietly in His presence, allowing Him to fill your heart with joy and peace. PRAYER: Heavenly Father, thank You for the privilege of prayer and the joy of communion with You. Help me to prioritize time in Your presence, knowing that it is the source of my strength and peace. I bring my burdens before You, trusting in Your faithfulness and love. Fill my heart with joy as I align myself with Your will. Thank You for hearing me and for being my constant refuge. In Jesus’ name, Amen. WISDOM DIGEST FOR TODAY 27/1/2025 TOPIC: THE JOY OF TEACHING TRUTH The joy of teaching truth is the deep fulfillment of guiding others toward enlightenment, wisdom, and transformation through God’s Word. It brings satisfaction in seeing lives changed, hearts opened, and minds renewed. Sharing truth uplifts both teacher and learner, reflecting God’s purpose and spreading His light in a world of darkness. JESUS' LIFE EXAMPLE: In the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5–7), Jesus taught profound truths about God’s kingdom, covering topics like the Beatitudes, love for enemies, prayer, and trust in God. He brought clarity to the law and revealed God’s heart for humanity. Teaching these truths was not just a duty for Jesus—it was His joy to reveal the path to abundant life and eternal hope. By teaching, Jesus illuminated minds and transformed hearts, leaving a legacy of wisdom for generations SELF - EXAMINATION: Teaching truth is an act of love. When you share God’s truth, you bring light to those in darkness, clarity to confusion, and hope to despair. The joy comes not just from the act of teaching but from seeing others grow in their understanding of God’s love and purpose. As you share what you’ve learned, you grow deeper in your own faith and experience the joy of being a vessel for God’s truth. WISDOM DIGEST FOR TODAY 26/1/2025. TOPIC: THE JOY OF HEALING AND RESTORATION: The joy of healing and restoration is the profound sense of renewal and hope that comes from mending brokenness—physically, emotionally, or spiritually. It brings peace, freedom, and gratitude, reflecting God’s transformative power. Whether experienced personally or through helping others, it’s a celebration of wholeness, reconciliation, and the triumph of love. JESUS' LIFE EXAMPLE: In Mark 5:25–34, a woman suffering from an issue of blood for twelve years reached out to touch the hem of Jesus’ garment in faith, believing she would be healed. Despite being in a large crowd, Jesus felt power leave Him and turned to address the woman. Instead of rebuking her for interrupting Him, He affirmed her faith, saying, “...Daughter, your faith has made you well; go in peace, and be healed of your affliction...” (Mark 5:34). Jesus’ actions demonstrate the transformative joy that comes with healing and restoration. He didn’t just restore her health; He restored her dignity and peace, calling her "daughter," a term of deep affection. Jesus always took time to care for the hurting, and through His compassion, He brought joy not only to those He healed but also to Himself as He fulfilled His mission to reveal God’s love. SELF - EXAMINATION: Helping others heal—whether physically, emotionally, or spiritually—creates a ripple effect of joy. As followers of Christ, you are called to be agents of healing in a broken world. When you show compassion, listen to someone’s pain, or pray for their needs, you reflect the heart of Christ and extend His healing touch. Healing isn’t always instantaneous or miraculous; it may involve patience, encouragement, or simply being present for someone. Regardless of the outcome, the act of seeking someone’s restoration brings joy to the person being helped and to the one offering help, because it fulfills God’s purpose of love and care. Consider: Are there people in your life who are hurting? How can you be a source of healing and restoration to them? ACTION STEPS: Identify someone who is struggling—physically, emotionally, or spiritually—and take one step to support his healing which can be one of these: 1. Offer a word of encouragement to someone going through a tough time. 2. Pray with or for someone who needs God’s intervention in his life. 3. Be present and lend a listening ear to someone who feels alone or overwhelmed. Your act of compassion can be a channel through which God’s joy flows into his life and yours. PRAYER: Heavenly Father, thank You for being the ultimate source of healing and restoration. Just as Jesus healed and restored lives, help me to bring healing and hope to those around me. Give me a heart of compassion, the wisdom to discern how I can help, and the courage to reach out. Let my actions reflect Your love and bring joy to those in need. May Your healing power flow through me, touching lives for Your glory. In Jesus’ name, Amen. Welcome to The Lord's Day. God will give your rest from all the storms of life. Don't forget to worship God in the beauty of His holiness today. You are blessed as you share this message to others Happy Sunday Yours Pastor Olanrewaju G L.

WISDOM DIGEST FOR TODAY 25/1/2025. TOPIC: THE JOY OF SERVING OTHERS The joy of serving others is the profound happiness found in selflessly meeting the needs of others which is a reflecting of God’s love. It brings fulfillment, strengthens relationships, and fosters gratitude as you make a positive impact. Serving with a humble heart enriches your spirit, revealing the beauty of giving and receiving kindness. JESUS' LIFE EXAMPLE: In John 13:12–17, Jesus, the Son of God and Teacher, humbled Himself to wash His disciples' feet—a task usually reserved for the lowest servant. By this act, He demonstrated that leadership and greatness in God’s kingdom come through service. Jesus said, "...If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet. For I have given you an example, that you should do as I have done to you..." (John 13:14–15). He found joy in fulfilling God’s will by serving others, showing love and humility in action. His joy was rooted in knowing He was glorifying God and setting an example for His followers to emulate. When you serve others selflessly, you reflect Christ’s heart and participate in the blessings that flow from obedience and love. SELF - EXAMINATION: True joy does not come from seeking self-gratification or personal success but from serving others with a humble and willing heart. Serving opens the door to deeper connections, a sense of purpose, and the satisfaction of being God’s instrument in someone else's life. Humility is key, as pride often obstructs your ability to serve joyfully. When you serve others, you mirror Jesus’ heart, and in doing so, you experience His joy. Consider: How do I approach service? Is it done with reluctance or with a cheerful heart? The joy of serving is found not in recognition but in knowing you are fulfilling God’s purpose and expressing His love to others. ACTION STEPS: Choose one intentional act of service today. This could be: 1. Offering encouragement to someone in need. 2. Performing an act of kindness for a family member, friend, or stranger. 3. Meeting a specific need in your community, workplace, or church. Let your action be a reflection of God’s love and grace, carried out with humility and sincerity. WISDOM DIGEST FOR TODAY 24/1/2024 Topic : THE JOY OF OBEDIENCE The joy of obedience is the deep, fulfilling delight that comes from aligning your will with God’s commands and purposes. It flows from trusting His wisdom, knowing that obedience leads to blessings, peace, and a closer relationship with Him. True joy arises as you experience the fruit of living in His will. JESUS' LIFE EXAMPLE The life of Jesus Christ is the ultimate model of obedience. In Luke 2:51, we see a profound glimpse of His submission: "...Then He went down to Nazareth with them and was obedient to them. But His mother treasured all these things in her heart..." Despite being fully God and fully man, Jesus willingly subjected Himself to the authority of His earthly parents, Mary and Joseph. This act of obedience wasn’t out of obligation but a reflection of His character and alignment with God’s divine order. This pattern of obedience extended into every aspect of Jesus' life. As He grew in wisdom and stature, His obedience prepared Him for the greater mission of salvation. Ultimately, His submission to God culminated in the Garden of Gethsemane, where He prayed, "...Not My will, but Yours be done.." (Luke 22:42). Through His life, Jesus showed that obedience is a source of joy, not a burden, because it reflects love, trust, and reverence for God. SELF EXAMINATION: Joy can be found in obedience to God’s will, even in the small, daily tasks. Sometimes, obedience feels mundane or even difficult, but it is in these moments that you experience the peace and joy that come from aligning with God’s purpose. Obedience is not about blind rule-following; it is a relationship of trust and surrender to the One who knows what is best for you. Consider how small acts of obedience—choosing kindness, being patient, forgiving someone, or even taking time to pray—can lead to a deep sense of joy and fulfillment. Obedience removes the burden of self-reliance and replaces it with the peace that comes from trusting God. ACTION STEPS: 1. REFLECT: Take a moment to think about how obedience to God’s guidance has brought joy and peace in your life before. 2. IDENTIFY: Choose one specific area in your life where you might be resisting God’s will—perhaps in your relationships, habits, or decisions. 3. REALIGN: Commit to surrendering this area to God today. Seek His guidance through prayer, and take a practical step toward obedience, whether it’s forgiving someone, changing your priorities, or letting go of control. By focusing on this aspect of Jesus' life, you can find strength and joy in the process, no matter your circumstances. PRAYER Heavenly Father, thank You for showing me the joy of obedience through the life of Jesus. Help me to trust Your wisdom and guidance, even in the small things. Lord, I surrender my heart to You today. Reveal any area of my life where I need to realign with Your will. Give me the strength to obey and the joy that comes with walking in Your path. May my obedience bring glory to Your name and draw me closer to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen. Welcome to a beautiful day with peace of mind and prosperity in all aspects of your life. WISDOM DIGEST FOR TODAY 23/1/2025. Topic: CELEBRATE GOD'S FAITHFULNESS Bible Verse: "...The Lord is good to those whose hope is in Him, to the one who seeks Him..." – Lamentations 3:25 Throughout His life, Jesus modeiled unwavering trust in the Father’s faithfulness, even when faced with tremendous trials. He knew that God’s plans were always good, and He continually relied on the Father’s promises. Let's look at how this was demonstrated in His life: I . IN HIS BIRTH: Jesus’ birth was the fulfillment of God’s promise to send a Saviour. Despite the humble circumstances, Jesus’ arrival was a testament to God’s faithfulness to His people (Luke 2:11-12). 2. DURING HIS MINISTRY: Jesus consistently demonstrated how God’s faithfulness could be trusted. He knew that the Father would provide for His needs, such as when He fed the 5,000 with five loaves and two fish (John 6:11-13), and He knew that God would sustain Him through His ministry, even when faced with opposition. 3. ON THE CROSS: At the cross, Jesus trusted in God’s ultimate faithfulness to His promise of salvation. His suffering was not in vain, for He knew that God would bring about the resurrection and victory over sin and death (Matthew 27:46, John 19:30). Jesus’ life was a testament to God’s goodness and faithfulness. No matter the circumstances, He continually acknowledged that the Father was trustworthy and that God’s timing and plans were always perfect. As followers of Christ, you are called to celebrate God’s faithfulness in your life, knowing that His promises to you are just as sure. APPLICATION TO YOUR LIFE: 1. Celebrate how God has been faithful in your life. What blessings can you thank Him for? 2. Take a moment to reflect on all the ways God has shown His faithfulness to you. Think about the big moments and the small victories. Have you seen His provision in your finances, His healing in your body, or His peace in times of turmoil? Reflecting on His goodness strengthens your faith and reminds you of His perfect timing. 3. Just as Jesus celebrated God’s faithfulness throughout His life, you too are called to acknowledge and rejoice in all that God has done for you. You can trust that the same God who has been faithful in the past will continue to be faithful in the future. ACTION STEPS: 1. Write a gratitude list of how God has worked in your life, thanking Him for His perfect timing. 2. Take a few moments today to write down specific ways God has been faithful to you. 3. Reflect on times when God answered prayers, provided for you, protected you, or showed His love in a tangible way. 4. As you write your list, praise God for each blessing and thank Him for His perfect timing in your life. PRAYER: Lord Jesus, I thank You for showing me the ultimate example of faithfulness. Throughout Your life and ministry, You trusted in the Father’s perfect timing and His good plans. Thank You for being faithful to Your promises, and for the many ways You have been faithful in my life. Forgive me for the times I’ve doubted Your timing or Your plans. I praise You for Your goodness, Your provision, and Your love. Help me to trust You fully and celebrate Your faithfulness every day. In Your name, I pray. Amen. Welcome to a beautiful day with peace of mind and wellness. Yours Pastor Olanrewaju G L. |
WISDOM DIGEST FOR TODAY 22/1/2025. Topic: SERVE WHILE YOU WAIT Bible verse: "...Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord..." Colossians 3:23 Jesus teaches us that waiting does not mean inactivity but purposeful service. During His earthly ministry, Jesus modeled how to serve while trusting in God’s timing. Even though He knew His ultimate mission was the cross, He spent His waiting years healing the sick, feeding the hungry, teaching the crowds, and discipling His followers. 1. IN HIS EARLY LIFE: Jesus waited 30 years to begin His public ministry, but during that time, He was obedient to His earthly parents, worked as a carpenter, and lived faithfully before God (Luke 2:51-52). He demonstrated this trait in the following ways: 2. DURING HIS MINISTRY: Even when the journey to the cross was set before Him, Jesus served tirelessly, putting the needs of others above His own. He washed the feet of His disciples (John 13:14-15), healed multitudes (Matthew 14:14), and showed compassion to those who were marginalized (Matthew 9:36). 3. ON THE CROSS: Even in His greatest moment of suffering, Jesus served. He forgave His executioners (Luke 23:34), provided for His mother (John 19:26-27), and offered salvation to the thief beside Him (Luke 23:43). Jesus’ example reminds us that waiting is not wasted when it’s spent in service to others. By focusing on glorifying God and helping those around you, you can make your waiting seasons fruitful and meaningful. APPLICATION TO YOUR LIFE: Use your waiting season to serve others and glorify God. How can you make your waiting productive? 1. Reflect on areas in your life where you feel stuck or impatient. Instead of dwelling on the delay, shift your focus outward. Ask yourself: -- Who around me needs encouragement, support, or help today? -- What can I do to reflect Christ’s love while I wait for God’s plans to unfold? By serving others, you grow in patience, humility, and faith. You also draw closer to Christ, who came not to be served but to serve (Mark 10:45). Waiting becomes a time of growth and ministry when you choose to focus on others instead of your own frustrations. ACTION STEPS: 1. Identify one way to help someone else today, focusing on their needs over your own impatience. 2. Look for small acts of kindness, such as helping a neighbour, encouraging a coworker, or supporting a family member. 3. Volunteer your time to a ministry, charity, or someone in need. 4. Spend time in prayer for others, asking God to bless and strengthen them. As you serve, remind yourself that you are working for the Lord, not just for people. Let your service be an act of worship, reflecting the heart of Christ. PRAYER: Lord Jesus thank You for Showing us how to serve faithfully while trusting in the Father’s timing. Even as You waited for the cross, You poured out Your life for others, showing love, compassion, and humility. Teach me to follow Your example by using my waiting season to glorify God and bless others. Forgive me for the times I’ve been consumed by impatience or self-focus. Open my eyes to the needs of those around me, and help me to serve with joy and faithfulness, as unto You. Amen." Welcome to a beautiful day. God will bless you today beyond your expectations. WISDOM DIGEST FOR TODAY 21/1/2025. Topic: FIND STRENGTH IN WAITING Bible Verse: "...Those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength..." Isaiah 40:31 Jesus lived a life of perfect dependence on the Father, often retreating to quiet places to pray and seek strength (Luke 5:16). Though He was fully God, He demonstrated what it means to wait on the Lord through patience, prayer, and submission to God’s timing in the following ways: 1 IN HIS MINISTRY: Jesus waited until the right time to begin His public ministry, even though He knew His mission from a young age (Luke 2:49, John 2:4). 2. IN THE GARDEN OF GETHSEMANE: On the eve of His crucifixion, Jesus poured out His heart to the Father, waiting in prayer as He prepared to endure the cross. Through that time of communion with God, He found strength to say, “...Not My will, but Yours be done..” (Luke 22:42). 3. ON THE CROSS: As He hung on the cross, Jesus waited on the Father, trusting that the plan for salvation would be fulfilled in its perfect time. Despite the agony, He did not waver but endured with faith and hope, knowing the resurrection and ultimate victory were ahead. Jesus teaches you that waiting is not a passive act—it is an active reliance on God’s presence and power. When you wait on the Lord, you are renewed, just as Jesus was strengthened by His connection to the Father. APPLICATION TO YOUR LIFE: Waiting on God renews your strength. Where can you find rest in Him today? Waiting can feel frustrating or unproductive, but Jesus shows you that it is a time to lean into God’s presence and trust His plan. Ask yourself: What area of your life requires patience right now? Is it a delay in a promise, a breakthrough you’re praying for, or a challenging season that feels endless? Instead of growing weary, turn to God for renewal. Like Christ, make waiting a time of intimacy with the Father. Let Him refresh your spirit, strengthen your resolve, and fill you with peace. Remember that His timing is perfect, and His purposes are always good. ACTION STEPS: 1. Spend extra time in worship or quiet prayer, seeking His strength. Set aside a specific moment today to rest in God’s presence: 2. Spend time in worship, reflecting on God’s faithfulness. Sing songs that remind you of His strength and promises. 3. Engage in quiet prayer, pouring out your heart to Him as Jesus did in Gethsemane. Ask Him to renew your strength and help you endure with patience. 4. Meditate on God’s Word, focusing on scriptures that speak of His power and faithfulness, like Isaiah 40:31 or Psalm 46:10. 5. Use this time to align your heart with God’s and let Him replace your weariness with His strength. PRAYER: Lord Jesus Christ, l thank You for Showing me the power of waiting on the Father. In every moment of Your life, You trusted in God’s timing and sought His strength. Teach me to wait like You did—with faith, patience, and reliance on the Father. Forgive me for the times I’ve grown impatient or weary. Help me to find rest in Your presence and renewal in Your promises. Thank You for being my source of strength and hope. Amen." WISDOM DIGEST FOR TODAY 20/1/2025. BE SLOW TO ANGER Bible Verse: "...The Lord is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love..." Psalm 103:8. Jesus perfectly embodied the compassion and grace of God, showing patience and restraint even in situations where anger might have been justified. One example is when He cleansed the temple (Matthew 21:12-13). While He showed righteous anger at the misuse of God’s house, His actions were measured, purposeful, and driven by zeal for God’s glory—not impulsive or uncontrolled emotion. Throughout His ministry, Jesus demonstrated how to respond with love and grace in these challenging situations: 1. WITH THE PHARISEES: Despite their constant attempts to trap Him with questions and accuse Him, Jesus patiently engaged with them, exposing their hypocrisy without sinning in anger (Matthew 23). 2. WITH HIS DISCIPLES: Even when they failed to understand His mission or acted in fear, Jesus gently corrected them, like when Peter denied Him three times. Instead of reacting with anger, Jesus restored him with love (John 21:15-17). 3. ON THE CROSS: While enduring unimaginable pain and mockery, Jesus prayed, “...Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing..” (Luke 23:34). His compassion outweighed any human inclination toward anger. Jesus shows us that being slow to anger is rooted in love, patience, and trust in God’s ultimate justice. It allows you to reflect His divine character in your interactions with others. APPLICATION TO YOUR LIFE: Impatience often leads to anger. How can you reflect God’s compassionate nature in moments of frustration? Ask yourself: What situations or people tend to trigger frustration in my life? Is it family, coworkers, delays, or unmet expectations? Instead of reacting impulsively, choose to imitate Christ’s patience and grace. Remember that anger often leads to broken relationships and regret, but responding with compassion brings healing and peace. When you feel frustration rising, pause and ask: How would Jesus respond in this moment? Seek His perspective by focusing on His patience with you and others. Recognize that challenges are opportunities to grow in grace and reflect God’s love to those around you. ACTION STEPS: 1. Practice taking a deep breath and seeking God’s perspective before reacting in frustration today. 2. Before reacting to any situation that causes irritation, pause and pray for God’s wisdom. Imagine how Jesus would respond. For example: 3. When someone speaks harshly, respond with kindness instead of reacting defensively. 4. When plans are delayed, trust that God’s timing is better than yours. 5. When tempted to lose patience, take a moment to breathe deeply and remember Jesus’ compassion and love. 6. Commit to being intentional about reflecting His character, even in the smallest moments of frustration. PRAYER: "Lord Jesus, thank you for living exemplary life that is worthy of emulation. You are slow to anger and full of compassion. Even when You faced opposition, misunderstanding, and betrayal, You responded with love and grace. Forgive me for the times I’ve let impatience or anger control my actions. Teach me to reflect Your patience and respond with kindness in challenging situations. Help me to pause and seek Your perspective before reacting in frustration. Thank You for showing me how to love others as You have loved me. Amen." You are welcome to a bright new week ahead full of joy, peace of mind and prosperity in all ramifications. Yours Pastor Olanrewaju G L. |
WISDOM DIGEST FOR TODAY 19/1/2025. Topic : WAIT WITH A PURPOSE Bible Verse: "...But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently..." – Romans 8:25 Jesus exemplified purposeful waiting throughout His life and ministry. Though He was the Son of God, He waited 30 years before beginning His public ministry. During those years, He grew in wisdom and stature, pre paring for the mission ahead (Luke 2:52). He waited for the appointed time to reveal Himself as the Messiah, never rushing ahead of God’s perfect plan. Even in His suffering, Jesus waited patiently for the joy set before Him—the salvation of mankind and the glory of God (Hebrews 12:2). Waiting with a purpose was central to Christ’s mission. His patience wasn’t passive; He taught, healed, prayed, and fulfilled His Father’s will while trusting in the divine timeline. This teaches us that waiting is an act of faith, one that prepares us for the fulfillment of God’s promises in His perfect time. APPLICATION TO YOUR LIFE: Patience is not passive; it’s an act of faith. What promise are you waiting on God for? Reflect on Jesus’ patience and ask yourself how you can emulate His endurance. Is there a specific promise of God you are holding onto? Perhaps it’s a breakthrough in your career, restoration in relationships, healing, or clarity about your purpose. Waiting is an opportunity to trust in God’s timing while preparing yourself spiritually, emotionally, and practically. Ask yourself: Am I focused on God’s promises or distracted by impatience and doubt? Like Christ, use this waiting season to grow in prayer, service, and worship, knowing that God is working behind the scenes. ACTION STEP: Write down one promise of God and focus on it today with faith-filled patience. Follow Christ’s example by staying active in faith during your waiting season. Write down a promise of God that speaks to your situation, such as: “The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” – Exodus 14:14 “I am the Lord who heals you.” – Exodus 15:26 “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” – Philippians 4:13 Each time doubt arises, read the promise aloud and remind yourself of Jesus’ patience and perseverance. Reflect on how He trusted in the Father’s perfect will and timing, even in the face of great trials. PRAYER: Lord Jesus, thank You for showing me how to wait with a purpose. You trusted the Father’s plan and endured every trial with patience and faith. Help me to follow Your example as I wait on God’s promises for my life. Teach me to remain active in prayer, worship, and service while trusting that God’s timing is perfect. Strengthen my faith and fill me with hope, just as You endured for the joy set before You. In Jesus Christ name, I pray. Amen. Happy Sunday to you and your family. Worship God today in the beauty of His holiness. Yours Pastor Olanrewaju G L |
WISDOM DIGEST FOR TODAY 18/1/2025. Topic : FOLLOW CHRIST'S EXAMPLE Bible verse: "...Consider Him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart...." – Hebrews 12:3. Jesus’ entire life and ministry exemplify patience and perseverance. He faced intense opposition from the religious leaders, betrayal by His closest followers, and the ultimate humiliation of the cross. Yet, He endured it all for the joy of fulfilling the Father’s plan of salvation and bringing humanity back into a relationship with God. Jesus demonstrated patience in many situations: 1. WITH HIS DISCIPLES: Despite their slowness to understand His teachings, He patiently guided and corrected them (Matthew 16:8-11). 2. WITH OPPOSITION: He endured constant accusations and rejection from religious leaders without retaliating in anger (Luke 23:9). 3. ON THE CROSS: Even in immense pain, Jesus prayed for His persecutors, saying, “...Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing...” (Luke 23:34). By keeping His focus on God’s purpose, Jesus didn’t let frustration or weariness deter Him. His perseverance reminds you to fix your eyes on Him when you face challenges, knowing He endured far more for your sake. APPLICATION TO YOUR LIFE: How can you emulate His endurance? Reflect on your own life: How do you respond to opposition, setbacks, or delays? Do you grow impatient, frustrated, or even lose heart? Jesus teaches you to respond differently. Emulating His endurance means trusting God’s plan even when circumstances are difficult or seem unfair. When faced with trials, remember: Patience builds character: As Jesus endured the cross for the joy set before Him, so too can you endure knowing that your trials refine you and bring you closer to God’s purpose. Faith conquers frustration: Jesus trusted the Father’s timing and will. We, too, must trust that God’s plans for us are perfect, even when we don’t understand them fully. Choose to respond to difficulties with patience and faith. Focus on the eternal joy that comes from glorifying God and growing in Christlikeness through perseverance. ACTION STEP: Meditate on the patience Jesus displayed throughout His ministry. Today, read and reflect on key moments where Jesus modeled patience: 1. His teaching of the disciples, even when they doubted and misunderstood Him (Matthew 16:8-11). 2. His forgiveness of Peter after his denial (Luke 22:61-62). 3. His prayer in Gethsemane, surrendering to the Father’s will (Matthew 26:39). As you meditate, think about how Jesus chose patience and trust in God in situations that could have led to frustration or anger. Let His example inspire you to practice patience in your own challenges, remembering the joy and purpose God has for your life. PRAYER: Lord Jesus, You are the perfect example of patience and endurance. Despite the opposition You faced, You trusted the Father’s will and never lost sight of the greater joy. Forgive me for the times I’ve grown weary, impatient, or frustrated in my own trials. Help me to follow Your example by enduring challenges with faith and humility. Give me the strength to persevere and the grace to show patience, even in difficult moments. May my life reflect Your love and bring glory to God. Amen.
