ComputersHow To Recover Your Yahoo Account When You Forgot Your Security Questions by Abmalcom(op): 1:41pm On Jan 29, 2015
Many people have lost access to their yahoo accounts as a result of password lost. The most annoying thing is when you try to recover your password through the “forgot your password” link and it prompts you to answer your security questions.

Most people might have forgotten the answers or worst still, they did not even know at all because somebody helped them to sign up the account in the first place and they are not even aware of any security question. This can be very frustrating.

Recently, my close friend lost access to his cherished twitter account. When he tried to recover the twitter account, he was directed to his yahoo account with which he signed up the twitter account. This yahoo account, he has lost access to for a very long time due to inability to answer the security questions. He contacted me and we were able to recover the yahoo account by going through this simple process.

PoliticsRe: How The Elections Are Already Being Rigged - Vanguard by Abmalcom(m):
The writer started as though he was making a case for violence-free electioneering but ended up as somebody fanning the embers of disunty and disharmony between north and south. He talked about how social media could cause trouble because it is not regulated but rode on that same advantage to spread his "gospel" of hate and prejudice. What a biased journalism!
PoliticsRe: Ekwueme Explodes: Why Jonathan Won’t Get Block Votes In South-east by Abmalcom(m): 12:21pm On Jan 10, 2015
The PDP rode, and is still riding on the back of IGBO people for its acheivements over the year, yet leaving its elders irrelevant in political scheme of things. It is unfortunate that the people who have sacrificed so much for the party since inception now find themselves begging for recognition. Late Dim Ojukwu saw this and formed APGA but PDP bought it over by implanted it's elements within it, Okorocha saw it and decided to seek relevance else where which he is now getting. The sooner the Igbo realises that their political relevance lies else where other than the PDP the better. A word is enough for the wise. As for Dr Ekweme, I quite appreciate ur doggedness wrapped in humility. Posterity has a good record you.

OP please change the topic to "One Thing you can find only in Ibadan" as against your "Things you can only find in Ibadan". Though sound the same but they have different meanings. What ur topic sugests is that the pix is the only thing one can find in Ibadan. I'm sure that is not what you intended.
Now to the topic, it is truly hilarious!

Just sick and tired of most of us. We were once saying that unless all the opposition parties merge, that there would not be an alternative to the PDP. Now that they are trying to achieve that, we still condemn them. Were you all hopping that the brand new politicians would be imported? Wise up and embrace change if you want one.

FoodRe: When Last Did You Eat On Your Dinning Table? by Abmalcom(m): 8:26am On Mar 15, 2013
I think it has to do with our upbringing. Most of us were brought up putting our food on a lower pedestal while we sit a bit higher than the plates of food. But most dinning tables are designed in such a way that the food is placed higher than the seat making it not comfortable to eat there at all times except on some special occasions. For me, its on the centre table or the stools now. I just drag it near one of the settees and grup up!

CultureNational Museum Esie: House Of Images (the First Museum In Nigeria) Pictures by Abmalcom(op): 12:18pm On Jan 25, 2013
In the sleepy Igbomina town of Esie, Irepodun LGA Kwara State lays the first museum in Nigeria. The museum was established in 1945 to house one of the greatest treasures ever bequeathed to mankind, Esie Stone Images (Ere Esie).

Ere Esie has long been known and associated with the people of Esie. Indeed, it has become a referent in the cosmology and socio-cultural spectrum of the people. However, the origin of these stone figures has long been a subject of social and academic discourse. In some quarters, it is believed that the images were formally human beings turned to stone by Supreme Being (Olodumare), while researchers and Archaeological findings prove that they were carved by some yet to be identified carvers. In fact, the objects are shrouded in great mysteries, myths and taboos.

It is widely believed that Esie people migrated from old Oyo in the years of Alafin Amuniwaye (late 18th Century). An Oyo prince, Adesole had contested the throne with Amuniwaye and lost. Consequently, he had to leave the Oyo town as tradition forbade him to stay after losing the contest. These Oyo emigrants, having wondered and settled at different places finally came to their present abode around 1775. It is also believed that a famous hunter, Baragbon who took the mantle of leadership led the people to Esie. It is equally believed that it was Baragbon, during one of his hunting expeditions that he accidentally discovered the stone images in a grove arranged in a semi-circle. This grove is located about 1.4 kilometres south west of Esie Township. The images consist of over one thousand stone carvings of men and women presided over by a king (Oba Ere), the largest collection of stone images in sub-Sahara Africa. Majority of the objects are carved in sitting position and were manufactured from steatite type of rock, otherwise known as soapstone. Features like facial marks and striations are seen on majority of the objects while some of the heads are plain-faced.
The sculptures range in height from 1.4 to 120 cm and weight between 0.55 and 104 kilograms. The carvings represent people engaged in different social activities: some playing musical instruments and many armed with arrows, machetes and unidentified objects. Few objects represent lower social status while majority of the objects depicts higher social status as attested by their rich attires, heavy beads and well-designed headgears. The artistry of the objects suggests that the objects were produced by highly developed African Society of the past.

These impressive artistic features of the object prompted the then colonial government of Nigeria to build a shelter to house the images in 1945 at the site of discovery (National Museum, Esie).

Other facilities include:
• Vast land mass suitable for eco-museum
• Viable archaeological sites for excavation
• Spacious children playing ground
• A modern gallery with a permanent exhibition titled; Indigenous Artworks as Indicators of Cultural harmony
• A stand-by generating set.
• Serene environment etc.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: What Is Your Take On The 2012 Fifpro World XI? by Abmalcom(m): 3:47pm On Jan 08, 2013
I can see most of us supporting the EPL have one nagative comment or the other about the FIFA proXI. It is unfortunate that non of the EPL players made it to the list but the fact remains that the list was not made up by FIFA, about 45000 players world wide voted including the EPL players. My conclusion is that the list can only be defective if we generally agree that democracy is defective and rather one man's(just as many of us has made our prefered list) opinion should override that of the majority. In my submisson, I say congratulations to all that are included this year and better luck next time to other deserving candidates. I love football!
