You need a bit of History. The ancient northern Nigeria was exposed to Arab through trans-Sahara trade long before the advent of colonization. They could speak, read and write Arabic language. That explains why they gave their children Arabic Names. E.g. Yakubu Gowon, former Nigerian Head of State is a Christian. In Arabic countries where there are few Christian, most of those Christians bear Arabic names.

My question now is: when did this even take place in heaven? Was it before the creation of Adam and Eve? or After The Serpent (Devil) deceived them in the garden of Eden?

Most of people here are just too naive and lack understanding of simple term. Prof did not say he would tear his Green Card. He said he would cut his green card. Let me quote him verbatim:

Now let me explain this. Cutting of green card is not synonymous to tearing it. What it means is that, you will discontinue it's usage.
