ANBAKO: Osisi, In as much that I deeply appreciate what you and lot of other people are doing per DJDOLA, I personally believe that people are getting bored by you and your every-second writing which personally I feel is personified, commanding, watery, insubstantial and sometimes disrespectful. Attention is lately shifting from DJ to Babyosisi. Remember that there were people who were volunteering before you came on board, You have pushed all these people aside, not giving in into opinions that differ from yours. Any person that disagree with you is seen as an outcast, an enemy of the cause whereas people are just trying to voice their observations for the betterment of the cause. Only you want to control diagnostic, logistics, Passport, India, Hospital, VI, Ikeja, Fundraising. Take it easy. It is good to be active and even better to be proactive but being hyperactive is hazardous. In my place of work, we refer to hyperactive people as Mobile hazards.
My advise is that you need to take it slow, reduce your updates and exposure on the forum, lets throw info through other various channels/team/volunteers. Let us centralize dissemination of information/updates/requests and do them periodically and not randomly at will without thinking through them. All these messages like "get me the report", " i sent you a mail", should be intra-team and not for our consumption on the forum.
I appreciate what you are doing but do not "over-do" it. God bless you (and other volunteers), this noble cause and Quick recovery for Hammed.
Lastly. I like to join your team if there is still vacancy. You want to use style to take over .. Good the floor is clear for u now so jump in . BaSkEtMoUtH |

beedam: @babyosisi, sorry to say this. Idowuogbo might have responded to him/her in a way not okay but is that enough reason why he has to deactivate? Meaning he can't take insult even at the detriment of someone's life. Na wa for the person too. Whether he/she is the only one who has contact with the India hospital doesn't make him a king. Abeg, let him put his I can't take insult attitude aside and help save a soul if otherwise, let him stay deactivated. God never leave his throne. I believe we all know why we are here, so why should people's comments enter ur head. Plsssss! Seconded no need begging anybody ! Soldier come soldier go barrack Remain |

Family › Re: 8 Challenges To Face Your 1st Year Of Marriage by aboki2000(m): 5:31am On Nov 15, 2014 |
braine: It’s said that the first year of marriage is the hardest one. The adjustments and changes that spouses encounter as newlyweds topple almost every other period in life — you and your spouse may feel stuck between the couple you used to be and the married couple you want to become. Marriage is a big risk; it can guarantee a lifetime of love, fulfillment, security and satisfaction, but it can also lead to quarrels, abuse, loneliness and divorce. Here are the top eight challenges that spouses may need to overcome in their first year:
1) Domesticity Problems The first thing that springs to mind is anything associated with domesticity. This means anything that can be lumped into what we like to call “household chores,”like washing the dishes, doing the laundry, tidying up or cooking dinner. For many recently married people, sharing a house with someone else is entirely new. Trying to divide the tasks in a fair and even way can put an enormous strain on a relationship.
2) Financial Issues Financial issues always crop up in the first year of marriage. Being married means sharing everything, spending money together, saving money together and dividing the income fairly. For the first time ever, you can’t simply decide to save up for a holiday or a new car; nor can you impulsively buy that new pair of designer boots. Your partner’s financial sensibilities have to be taken into account.
3) Romance Challenge When you’re married, it’s easy to stop being romantic. There’s an element of safety, and the “you’re not going anywhere” mentality comes with a dwindling of the things that can make a relationship worth it; texting and calling from work, going out for a nice meal, flirting and looking good for one another.
4) Personality Differences Living together means spending a lot of time together, so it’s inevitable that certainlifestyle differenceswill become abundantly clear. You might enjoy eating out while your partner might like to stay in and cook. You might like reading, and your partner might prefer watching television. It’s important to negotiate, compromise and find a balance.
5) Lifestyle Changes As a married couple, the first year will bring a whirlwind of lifestyle changes. In your dating period, it was probably very relaxed, casual and fun. In a marriage, these things are inevitably combined withsome of the more boring stuff, like planning, working, stressing over money and sleeping early as opposed to going out and dancing. It’s important not to resent your partner for this.
6) Parental Influence When you’re dating, it’s just the two of you. When you’re married, it’s the whole family or both families. You have in-laws to impress. You’ve taken their child away, so they’re bound to stick their noses into your affairs.Parental influencecan be a real burden on your marriage before you get used to it.
7) Unexpected Fights The first year of marriage is said to bring aninflux of fighting. This is probably because you’re with each other all the time for the first time since your relationship began. Plus, the fights may have an intensity that they didn’t have before, and you might feel like you have fewer places to escape.
Independent Plans It becomes easy to start acting independentlyof one another in the first year.Bound by the wedding ring, you might feel more inclined to make plans without consulting your partner. If you get into the habit of doing this early on, there’s a danger it might affect your entire marriage.
Marriage can be the most rewarding decision that you’ll make in your life. If you make it to your first anniversary, you’re halfway there. By establishing a strong base on which to build, the rest of your married life should be something you can anticipate, plan towards and look forward to.

Busybody2: Yes sir.
But again I repeat, this is an emergency, DJDOLA needs funds to start rolling in asap, TEHN is transparent enough and have never been found guilty of embezzlement, drop TEHN's nominated account details ASAP.
Let's get the ball rolling...before I kick it in your groin. Grrrrrr
TEHN is a charitable body founded by Nairalanders for Nairalanders and friends of Nairalanders ON NAIRALAND. They have been in operation over a couple of years and have helped raised millions of naira for good causes. I will find links of the kind of help they have rendered and post this on another thread for your perusal, in order not to derail this thread Sir. Thanks.
@naijababe, shey because they exempted you from staying dia because of the face-me-i-slap-you-accommodation dia, which would be prejudicial to your fresh Ajebutter skin, don't worry, TEHN's next project would be to raise funds to convert the rooms to duplexes to your taste I only wanna know the full meaning TEHN simple ! |
