I wonder how an Ekiti man like you, who by the way has not travelled beyond the shores of Ekiti State before, thinks that you know him better than I, who knows him down to his house both in Ogun State and in the UK. Once again, both of his parents are indigenes of Ogun State. |

I wonder why some people are tearing themselves apart because of mere name.
He is from my partner's community in Ogun State. Both his father and mother are also from Ogun State. His parents added chukwuemeka as part of his name because of the love they have for Chukwuemeka Ojukwu in particular and Igbo people in general. |

WatchYourSix: lol…. Someone posted a couple of statements on instagram saying until u women hear most of the things you say from a man, yall dont know how weird it sounds…
I hear you women say this same thing all the time…. “marry a man thats all over you more than you are all over him” because a man will take you for granted when he notices you love him more…….. but hey! It doesn’t make sense now coming from a man…. It is not about a gender. You, that your fellow that I quoted, and all the females like you that you said have been making the same statement are not intelligent. Just say "marry who loves you as much as you love them." Waiting for someone who loves you more than you love them is one of the most unintelligent things to say or expect. I hope you have learned something now. |

Lalami3232: It's simple na. Na everything na I go tell una? Anyways, make I tell una one more time. 1. Marry a woman from a good family. Weather you like am or not, family dey influence children. Go marry woman wey her mama dey rude to the papa, she go see am as a normal thing towards you 2. Marry who love you more. Better for your partner to love you more than you to lover am more 3. Marry who respects you!!! This one too dey important 4. Marry a virgin and not a leftover. If she get sexual discipline, you would have met the door tightly shut, locked and protected and not widely opened and semi dilapidated. 5. Read number 4 again and again and again. If you're doubting my, drink a glass of clean water and read again till you get wisdom to assimilate
What do I even know sef aside enlightening my fellow men nationwide with the good news of DNA test How a statement like this "2. Marry who love you more. Better for your partner to love you more than you to lover am more" does make sense to some of you is beyond me. |

helinues: Because Ogun state is the most respected states by president Tinubu amongst all the states in Nigeria. The outburst before the election all happened in the state.
Those who view Ogun politics from afar don't know how complicated and sophisticated the state is
President, Vice president, Speaker, major political position under democracy, no state in Nigeria is close to Ogun state "No state in Nigeria is close to Ogun State" because they have produced president, vice, etc, under democracy, you said? Well, stop being delusional. There's a state in Nigeria called "Katsina State" that has produced two presidents, speaker and other major political posts in this same democratic dispensation. I wonder when some of you will grow pass ethnocentrism. |

You should be grateful to thief that worked all round the clock to keep food inflation down. The fact is that there's no difference between PBAT administration to that of the late PMB. Nigerians have every reason to be grateful to the PDP era, not the APC maladministration. |

seunmsg: Oops! It’s no longer about the average price of rice that ordinary Nigerians can afford but about Mango, Apple, and Pineapple rice, right? Dude, just listen to yourself. Must you be sad over everything?
A bag of rice was N50 averagely in 2023 when Tinubu took over. Minimum wage was N30,000 at that time. Today, a bag of rice is averagely N55k irrespective of Mango, Apple and Peanut rice despite minimum wage going up to N70,000. You should commend the government and not be sad. Stop getting sad over positive news, it won’t make Peter Obi president in 2027. You're either ignorant or pretentious, else you would have known that the value (purchasing power) of 30,000 naira minimum wage in 2023 is almost 4 times bigger than the 70,000 naira minimum wage today. |
Celebrities › Re: I Never Wanted Regina To Marry Ned Nwoko — Rita Daniels by AbosedeFalade(op): 1:25am On Oct 22, 2025 |
So, why have you Nigerians been accusing her of selling her daughter, Regina, to Senator Ned Nwoko? |
Celebrities › I Never Wanted Regina To Marry Ned Nwoko — Rita Daniels by AbosedeFalade(op): 11:41pm On Oct 21, 2025 |
Rita Daniels, mother of Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, has spoken about her daughter’s marriage to politician and businessman, Senator Ned Nwoko, saying she never supported it from the beginning.
The clarification surfaced online amid renewed public attention after a viral video showed Regina accusing her husband of domestic violence.
In response, Tribune Online reports that Nwoko denied the allegations, insisting that Regina’s struggles stem from drug and alcohol use. He also noted that none of his five other wives had ever accused him of abuse.
Earlier, speaking with BBC News Igbo in an interview recorded on October 3, Rita addressed long-standing claims that she arranged or “sold” her daughter into the marriage. She denied the reports, saying she was the last person to know about their relationship.
“When Regina got married, and the world was saying I was the one who forced her to marry a much older man. They said I carried her and sold her to an elderly man,” she said.
“What they did not know is that even I did not know when they started the relationship. With everything that was going on, I was the last person to know they were in a relationship.
“And as my daughter, I called her and asked what was going on, and what she answered me ‘Have I ever introduced you to anyone as the person I want to get married to aside from Ned Nwoko?’”
“My daughter, who never used to throw back words at me, started throwing back words. I noticed she was beginning to get stubborn about it, and then I was like, ‘What is actually going on?’ In the political terrain, the husband and I are opponents.”
Rita said Nwoko did not approach her about marriage until after his political campaign. Faced with her daughter’s determination, she said she had little choice but to stand by her.
“Immediately after the election, it was then that her husband told me he was interested in marrying my child. I was weak, but what was I to do? I stood with my daughter, was I to chase her away?” she said.
“So when I saw everything, I advised as much as I could as a mother. That they are talking all sorts of trash about Regina, the most important thing is that she is happy where she is, and I have not had the energy to address anyone regarding anything.”
Rita also said she preferred to take public criticism rather than let people blame her daughter.
“Do I leave them to heap blame on my daughter?” she asked. “So it is better for me that they heap the blame on me, tear me apart, and call me all sorts of names. I will rather take it. What matters to me is that my family is at peace. https://tribuneonlineng.com/trending-i-never-wanted-regina-to-marry-ned-nwoko-rita-daniels/

pansophist: Where did I justify every bad thing? There's no better way you could have justified her ill action than you did with the following statements: "A very necessary lesson for him. As a woman myself, the man didn't do anything wrong. |

He got it the other way around. He should not be going around applying for the position of a boyfriend, but conduct himself in such a way that ladies find him attractive, then he choose from them.
But her outburst was unnecessary. Just say no, politely. Must you Nigerians justify every bad thing? Her reply to the man is uncalled for. |

Jakumo: Fellas, this man's failed mission is a fine example of what a man should NEVER ask a woman. Any man foolhardy enough to formally apply for the official post of "boyfriend" will only succeed in killing off any chance of romance that might have existed BECAUSE that kind of question carries so much baggage as to erase whatever attraction the woman might have initially felt for the man if only he had kept things simple.
A young woman faced with a man applying to be her boyfriend will immediately sense that the man is lacking in confidence, and likely to become jealous and possessive as soon as the woman replies that such a formal relationship can start. Instead of going that old-school job application approach to entering the promised land, it is far better to keep things playful, flirtatious, and light hearted, so the girl can simply go with the flow, without being placed under pressure by such a formalized applications to hang pipe. It seems like most of you Nigerians take pleasure in justifying bad things through one way or another. Her reply to the man is uncalled for. If I were in her position, I would turn him down by saying a simple no or ignoring him. |

Gerrard59: Oh! You are a single dad with a daughter?
Well, your choices are fewer. Your best bet is with a single mom who has a son. A young unmarried woman would quickly oppose marrying a single dad in his forties who has a daughter. Target women in their mid-30s. Then again, as long as she is unmarried, she will view you differently than if you had a boy.
Good luck! The reality about relationship and economic success in life in general is beyond your usual textbook postulations and opinions like this one here. Your opinion on these issues is even funnier considering that you've not had a firsthand experience in any of them. Cho cho cho |
