You're mixing up arraignment in 2021 with his sentencing in 2026. The article clearly states that he was convicted and sentenced on February 5, 2026. So his 10 year sentence began this 2026, not in 2021.

Here's a free lecture for you, the man was sentenced in 2021 on 49 count charges of ten years each making it 490 years. And the 49 count charges are to run concurrently so, every smart person knows that he has less than 5 years to serve in prison.

Of course, without being told, being that you've never been a smart person, you thought that because his appeal was not granted this year that his prison time will start counting from this year instead of 2021.
