CareerRe: Tax Experts, How Much Is He Supposed To Receive At The End Of The Month? by absrifun: 3:47pm On Feb 29, 2024
Mercylike:
Nairalanders, my friend got a job in a depot although he didn't get the position he wanted as a logistics person.

He was paid as this is his first month..

Offer letter shows below per annum:

Basic - 650000
Transport - 240000
Housing - 240000
Telecommunications - 120000
Lunch - 125000
Medical allowance - 125000
Wardrobe - 125000
Pension - 113000
Annual leave allowance - 65000

Total is 1,803,000 million.

Monthly salary is 150000k.

Note:
1. Out of this 150k, 8% employee pension fee will be deducted

2. Employer is also expected to contribute 10%

3. Paye (i don't know the amount of paye tax on this salary)

My question is; with the information above, how much is the employee supposed to collect at the end of the month .i.e Net monthly salary

IslamRe: The Month Of Sha'ban Is Upon Us! by absrifun: 1:35pm On Feb 16, 2024
Lukgaf:
Sha'ban is upon us. According to the counting of Sultan, today (Friday, 9th of February) corresponds to the 28th day of Rajab, indicating that the first day of Sha'ban will fall on either Sunday or Monday. Are we preparing for this month?

'A'ishah, may Allah be pleased with her, narrated: “The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace be upon him) used to fast until we thought he would never break his fast, and then he would refrain from fasting until we thought he would never fast. I never saw the Messenger of Allah fasting for an entire month except in Ramadan, and I never saw him fast more than he did in Sha'ban.” (Reported by Al-Bukhari, no. 1833; Muslim, no. 1956).

According to another narration reported by Muslim (no. 1957): “He used to fast the entire month of Sha'ban, except for a few days.”

Let us endeavor to observe fasting during this blessed month and increase our worship in anticipation of the upcoming Ramadan. This presents another opportunity for women who may have missed fasts during the previous Ramadan.

May Allah grant us success, accept our worship, bless us with longevity, good health, wealth, and steadfast faith.

EducationRe: Kano Extends Second-Term Holiday To Five Weeks For Ramadan by absrifun: 7:05am On Mar 23, 2022
The same thing is happening in Rives State.
According to the state MOE calendar, schools are to resume on 2nd May, 2022. However, that very day would be public holiday (workers day) originally Sunday but would be marked on Monday. There is likely going to be another public holidays 3rd and 4th May (Eid-il-Fitr). So, any reasonable government will definitely shift resumption until 9th of May, 2022.

I had similar experience for about 5yrs. Until a doc friend recommended (Loratidine/Cetrizine) before I begin to have long time relief. Its 10tabs in 1card. Take 1tab daily (works better for me when taken at night).
