If what the ingrates like the ‘storyteller’ are doing continue, can we say our good country deserves or worths the helping hands of NGO like Ahmadiyya Humanitarian Services providers whose services have relieved thousands of Nigerians. The same facility that is being accused now has involved in giving many free medical cares both within the premises and off field especially in the rural areas.

Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama'at Nigeria is celebrating her 100 years of existence in Nigeria at the ongoing 63rd annual national conference (Jalsa Salana) holding at Ilaro, Ogun State.

What is Jalsa Salana? The Jalsa Salana is an annual three-day conference of Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at. With over 30,000 visitors, it is the largest regular meeting of Muslims in Africa and Europe.

The story of Jalsa Salana dates back to 1891, when the founder of the reform movement, Hadhrat Mirza Ghulam, Ahmad Qadiani (AS), proclaimed Jalsa Salana for the first time in Qadian (India). At that time, 75 members of the community took part. Since then the Jalsa Salana has firmly established itself in many countries of the world. For example, more than 200,000 visitors took part in the last Jalsa Salana in Pakistan, 1983.

The theme of this year annual conference is: REDEFINING MORAL REVOLUTION FOR SUSTAINABLE PEACE AND DEVELOPMENT. The program commenced on the 16th of December and will come to an end on the 18th of December. Amongst the dignitaries that graced the occasion includes the Former President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Olusegun Aremu Obasanjo, Oba of Ilaro, Oba of Ikirun , Alhaji Abdul Gafar Babalola (Representative Ogun State house of Assembly), The General Manager MITV and many others.
