All these people spreading cheap propaganda should shut up! It pains me that some of our youths don't reason intelligently. How can you tell me that the Chadian president took a decision unilaterally to fight the insurgency? Our people should not play politics with everything. You sit in the comfort of your house, behind a computer and type rubbish. What sort of encouragement are we giving to our soldiers who are being killed everyday just to defend the territorial integrity of Nigeria. How can a small country with small army be talking like this and we are rejoicing.....simply because we are bent on discrediting the efforts of the Nigerian soldiers. Why are we quick to forget the exploits of our gallant soldiers in various peace keeping missions both within and outside the continent. Lets put politics and sentiments aside and be objective in our discuss. God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria! Never again shall we make fun of the efforts of our gallant soldiers! Never again shall any part of Nigeria harbour terrorists! Never again! |
Our military shall pursue, overtake and recover all the lost territories. Never again shall any part of Nigeria fall into the hands of the terrorists. #Neveragain# God bless Nigeria. |
Dignity in labour! She is a lot better than those fake big girls. BTW, who told the op that she didn't go to school? |
Oby Ezekwesili is beginning to sound like a broken record. The initial allegation was that our military was not doing much. Infact they blamed the presidency of playing politics with the lives of the people. However, now that the military is recording huge success, taking over territories that were under the siege of BH....the same Oby is doubting this feat. She is asking for independent reportage. Let the leadership of BBOG campaign group select their own journalists and send them to the battle front. I sincerely doubt the non-partisanship of BBOG campaign. They are 100% partisan. Meanwhile I have news for them , "NEVER AGAIN SHALL ANY PART OF NIGERIA FALL INTO THE HANDS OF THE INSURGENTS OR THEIR MASTERS BEHIND THE SCENE. #Neveragain# |
Sincerely speaking, the Federal Govt is really supporting our indigenous industries. It will be nice to see a Nigerian made Armoured Personnel Carrier. Kudos to the presidency ! Never again will the insurgents take over any part of Nigeria. #Teamneveragain# God bless Nigeria |
#TEAMNEVERAGAIN# Never again will BH occupy any territory in Nigeria ! Never again will there be any safe haven for the insurgents in our beloved country! Never again will innocent blood be shed on the alter of politics! Never again will our youths hide behind their keyboard and castigate our military ! God bless Nigeria!!!!! |
I was moved to tears when I saw the joy and happiness on the faces of our gallant soldiers when President Goodluck Jonathan paid them a visit. He told them that "NEVER AGAIN" will any part of the country fall into the hands of the insurgents. The excited and motivated soldiers started chanting "NEVER AGAIN...NEVER AGAIN" I was equally impressed the way and manner the soldiers were shaking and hailing the Chief of Army Staff- General Minimah. The president also announced immediate promotion for all the soldiers that are taking part in the battle and a post humous promotion to the fallen soldiers. It is quite obvious that our military is battle ready and equal to the task. God bless Nigeria! “From here we move to retake Gwoza, Marte, and Madagali. With this, there is going to be no more Boko Haram; the slogan is ‘never again’ and even the President shares in this slogan. |
Suicide bomber hits GSM market in Potiskum. Scores fears dead. This is the second attack in the last one month. Source: Channels TV |
I wonder why some people will sit down in the comfort of their homes and cook up unsubstantiated news for the populace. Our president has made some wrong calls but he has also got it right in some. A lot of people calling him names are UNABLE to lead their homes. What have U done as a responsible citizen to better the lots of others? You jump queues in public places, U bribe PHCN not to disconnect ur power (when U are still owing), U bribe traffic officials to evade sanctions, U inflate contract figures, U cheat in the exam hall....haba! "Let he who is without sin cast the first Stone" Nigeria is our only country. Lets join hands and build it irrespective of what others are saying! God bless Nigeria |
What is wrong with our youths....is this how low we have fallen? Politics has so divided this country that we have lost sense of reasoning. What has under-age voter got to do with PDP or APC? What is wrong is wrong! Until we get it right from the homefront , we will not make any tangible progress. |
If this allegation is true, it means that INEC was compromised ab initio. Is federal character principle at work here? Must they cheat in everything? Just like the cut off mark for entry to unity school for some southern states is about 75% but some states in the North only need about 15%. Does that same principle apply to age eligibility for voters registration? Someone who has more facts on this issue should please enlighten us. |
Seriously! Is INEC really ready for this election? All these are tale tale signs that all is not well. |
Let me start by telling everyone that we have only one country and it must not collapse in our generation. God bless Nigeria. The Independent National Electoral Commission - INEC had almost 4 years to prepare for this election. While we appreciate their effort so far, I wish to point out some issues I have noticed in the system. Some weeks ago, the DSS raided an office belonging to one of the political parties on the suspicion of some irregularities. "We" rose in our numbers and condemned the act....we even lampooned the DSS of being partisan. After the raid, prof Attahiru Jega (INEC) was interviewed about the raid by Kadaria Ahmed(Straight talk) and he claimed that INEC system was so solid that it cannot be hacked. The essence of the biometrics is primarily to ensure the credibility of the register and guard against multiple registration. Alas, Channels TV interviewed a woman (today 6-2-15) who was issued two PVCs with the same details. The part that is worrisome is that the 2 cards were released to the woman by INEC official. The interviewer (Seun Akinbaloye) mentioned that there are more cases like that. My question is " if the highly celebrated register can allow DUPLICATION of someone's details by issuing more than one PVC, how sure are we that INEC database cannot be hacked or tampered with? I would have thought that INEC should go back and investigate the concerns raised.(It is possible they actually investigated the claim) Nigerians are extremely smart with the intelligence and creativity to beat any computer security. This purely my observation as a Nigerian and not affiliated to any political group. |
It is quite obvious that the plan to destabilize Nigeria didn't start today. From the posts above, I guess we know those to hold responsible for all the carnage and atrocities happening in the North. What do U expect from them? They are the ones helping BH to unleash mayhem. Unfortunately, they are the ones to suffer the most. Why can't they join forces with the rest of the world to fight this battle. No matter how clueless our C-in-C appears to be, this battle could have been won before now.....only if our people up north had cooperated with our gallant soldiers. Just to achieve their selfish goal they only succeeded in making our gallant soldiers inefficient. Mind you these same soldiers are well celebrated in peace keeping missions. Ask countries like Liberia, Sudan, Mali, Sierra L...etc. These countries still celebrate our soldiers till date. The big question is "how can our soldiers win several wars outside Nigeria but are unable to win the war in Nigeria?" Fellow Nigerians, pls look before you leap. God bless Nigeria. |
The minister of petroleum resources announced reduction of fuel pump price by N10 at a press briefing this evening in the presidential villa. The reduction is with immediate effect. The reason behind the reduction in pump price is due to the falling price of crude. Source : Channels news |
These are verifiable facts! The opposition state governors are shouting foul now but they were the ones camping for the sharing of the money in ECA, even against professional advise. They even took the Federal Government to court. How can FG unilaterally spend the money in Foreign reserves. Mallam Sanusi mentioned sometime that the CBN under his watch spent some billions of dollars defending the naira. Why should some people make uninformed statement knowing that some people will foolishly follow their pronouncements? An igbo proverb says that you give a dog bad name when U want to kill it. We know better now. |
Jungle journalism! What stopped you guys from verifying the report before publishing it? You want to pass the blame now to NAN. Thank God you had the courage to retract the story and apologize also. I still maintain that journalists and politicians are our major problem in this country. Politicians will play politics with every damn thing and sell the story to their people in the media. The media will swallow it hook line and sinker....and sell to the unsuspecting public. Freedom of speech is dealing with us ! |
This guy's spirit of sportsmanship is quite exemplary. Weldone bro....wish you luck in the African footballer of the year contest. |
It is possible that some heavy weights in the APC are working against their perceived opponents in the party. Certainly PDP has nothing to lose since it is a campaign geared towards the party's national congress. #weareobservingclosely# |
Seun:Sorry....which Seun is this? U sef dey gossip? Na waooooo.... After 3 posts the story has hit FP. If a simple gossip like this could hit FP after 3 comments, i wonder why serious and informative posts will not hit FP after 3 or 4 pages. |
What is happening to our electoral process? It is obvious that the Goodluck administration is a fair umpire in electoral issues. He is not using his position to intimidate opposition. I pray they get it right come 2015. The opposition is losing in the states they currently control. They have not put their house in order and they want to clinch the states under the control of the ruling party. We need a more credible and formidable opposition to challenge the ruling party. APC in its current status is not strong enough. |
Ok |
Spot on! The earlier we realize that the West will not give you any assistance for nothing, the better for us. They will give you an arm and take a head strictly on their own terms. Who made them judge over the rest of the world? You are accusing someone of human right abuse.....how did you deal with the abuses committed by your troops in Iraq and co? I am not saying that our soldiers are the most professional and most disciplined.....no. Sincerely they have my respect. For the fact that they answered the great call of defending the territorial integrity of Nigeria, by denying themselves the comfort of their homes and their loved ones...i salute them. This same America and co promised to send some troops to help locate the kidnapped Chibok girls......please ask them how far they have gone with that assistance. We are not saying you should give us the weapons for free....we have our cash and we are ready to pay. Assistance you didn't give and you are blocking all efforts to get the assistance. Maybe they are praying for Nigeria to be like Syria and Iraq..so that they can come and claim big brother "He who comes to equity must come with clean hands" |
LuvlyEgodi01:What part of Lagos are U staying? I am in Surulere....we can always hook up if you want. |
It is so painful how low our power seeking politicians can go to smear someone's reputation. You don't need to smear someone's image for the people to accept you. Just give us your manifesto and convince Nigerians that you are a better option. Let me clearly remind all those behind this gang up that if Nigeria goes up in flames today, there will be Ask rock for them to occupy. Whoever that is instigating this should also know that his family and friends are not immune to violence and death. He might end up killing his own. |
mayorall:Thank you sir. However, where will I put the Chinese address : in the message box or where? |
horlus:Guangzhou |
Good evening peeps. I tried making payment online with my debit card to a Chinese supplier on Aliexpress . Unfortunately China is not on the list of countries goods can be sent to. How do I address this issue because my agent in China is supposed to collect the product and send to me. Is there a way to make such payment? |
NgeneUkwenu:must u bring president Jonathan into every issue? Stop being childish. Goodluck Jonathan was an accomplished lecturer and earned his doctorate degree within the four walls of university and not in Aso rock. Be guided! |
I totally agree with this analysis. It is a fact that SA govt is not happy that Nigeria presently occupies the No.1 spot in terms of economy in the continent. All their efforts are geared towards making this feat a fluke. The war against the insurgents is affecting the economy of the Northen Nigeria and as such it is affecting Nigeria. If it is allowed to spread to other parts, it might lead to a collapse of the economy. This will certainly make it easy for them to take back the No. 1 spot. The first transaction was termed "money laundering" by those who don't understand the frustration of the military and also because the cash was "smuggled" into SA. What of the transaction that went through Bank transfer? Why was it blocked and seized? . It is either that the SA officials are out to sabotage the efforts of the Nigerian Govt. to get rid of these terrorists or that there is a mole in the system that is tipping them off. I also hope that the opposition and the band wagon is not trying to score cheap political point with these security issues. If the terrorists succeed in their quest, there will be no Nigeria for the opposition to govern. Let us jointly fight this war against terrorism in any ramifications: diplomatic, media, propaganda etc. Nigeria shall rise again and the glory of the Lord shall reign supreme. God bless Nigeria. |
