Change indeed! Changing from bad to worse is still part of change. Beware of that man that sells broom but his house is terribly dirty and stinks. What moral justification does PMB and APC have to fight corruption? Let's not use double standards in fighting corruption. |
Friends, beware of people that carry brooms and shout "change" but their houses are dirty. That's the height of hypocrisy! |
until these change agents deal with this scandal, their change mantra will remain a farce |
If this is true, it simply shows how deep tribalism and ethnic bigotry has eaten deep into our fabrics. If you are bold enough to commit a crime, why can't u be bold enough to stand by ur actions by disclosing ur identity. Why put the blame on hard working Igbos ? In the paraphrased words of Mao zedong "uproar in the south, strike in the north" The FG should watch it closely..... |
May God save us. How come Nigeria is a safe haven for them. The govt needs to get to the root of this mess. Who granted them visas on fake passports? Instead of importing terrorists, pls lift the ban to enable business minded fellows import genuine raw materials and other important finished goods into the country. God bless Nigeria. |
This change mantra seems to be a fluke in some states. Why are you sacking someone for stating the obvious......a level 17 officer? This particular piece would have been highly celebrated if it was directed at the ministry of education in the former administration. You got offended and felt slighted because the piece seemed localized. The article was referring to the educational sector as a whole and not only Ogun State. Ibikunle, you and your team got it wrong. Be ready for the arrows of litigations that will start flying soon. |
No sacred cow in this war on corruption. They have impoverished the poor masses and are living large with their illicit loot. This case should be properly investigated and prosecuted if found guilty. God bless Nigeria. |
The problem with Nigeria today is that we have "career politicians" instead of "career people" in politics. Why would a serving state governor that is yet to prove his mantle be casting aspersions on other people. This same administration that Oshiomole and Amechi his brother are busy castigating were direct beneficiaries of rule of law. Edo state, pls call your governor to order. Campaigns are over, this is time for real governance. God bless Nigeria |
liberty300:What are you saying? Hunger doesn't know whether you are APGA,APC, PDP or whatever. Do the needful and pay your workers. Imagine a state increasing salary by 15% when others are unable to pay salaries. I think other governors should find out what Mr.Wilie Obiano is doing differently to generate such revenue. Friends, this is what you get when a professional is in politics not like those lazy people tht took politics as career. Sincerely when your works are there to speak for you, campaign for re-election is much easier. God bless Nigeria |
you people should stop this stupid propaganda. If he finishes with his assignment in USA, why not engage in other useful assignments for the nation. He did the right thing by taking permission from PMB. The president granted his request because it was cogent. For Sahara reporters to state that Mr. Emefiele's trip to London was not part of the initial arrangement is suspicious. Were they privy to their itinery? It is obvious that the youths are the cause of the problems in this country. If only they can stand firm and say no to their paymaster...this nation will be ok. Why dance to the tune of one disgruntled fellow to smear the image of another person or even kill or maim another person. They roam about on the internet....on every site spreading unsubstantiated information that will do us no good. Get busy, get a life.....be useful to your family. God bless Nigeria. |
Friend, it is not about what "one man of God" said. It is all about what God said. If you a TRUE child of God, He will speak directly to you. Pray with ur wife "to be" and jointly seek God's face concerning this issue. Maybe you are God's answer to her prayers. Remember, no marriage is immune to crises. What matters most is how you handle them when they come. You will do yourself a great favour if you marry "your friend". Goodluck and God bless. |
I am really impressed by this show of sincerity and maturity. Some "special human beings" will come here and shout change. They will list improved power, revamping of our refineries etc as part of the success stories of PMB. Unfortunately they fail to realise that PMB has not enacted any major policy to attract such. |
Where was FRC when funds in ECA was an object of litigation ? The likes of Rotimi Amechi and Oshiomole were the ring leaders. Their argument was that you can't be saving for tomorrow when the masses are dying of hunger. Today they are singing another tune. Sycophants! #say no to cosmetic CHANGE# Yes to real change ! |
NgeneUkwenu:Who is this clown hiding behind her keyboard? Play your politics but dont tarnish someone's reputation. Pls note that Karma is a bi-tch.....whatever U sow, U will definitely reap! |
This is getting messier. Sincerely we need answers. We want real change and not cosmetic change. #say no to cosmetic change# #Yes to real change# |
Austerity measure indeed. A good way of reducing the leakages |
This is the reason why people like Papilo will never be broke. He is investing in humanity in his days of abundance. Humanity will also stand by him at any low point in his life. Thank you Papilo..God bless you. |
Must you criticize any action taken by the executive? Why would such very delicate information get to the public? Trust Nigerians, they will not strive to get the whole details. The minister of finance sent a memo seeking clarification on huge leakages via tax holidays. I would have expected NIPC to respond to the query and this will eventually trigger investigation. Replying an official query on the pages of newspaper is totally unethical. You are the boss......you take the praise and blame alike. |
I sincerely and earnestly pray that this was a clear joke. Sir, we voted for you on the strength of your sound manifesto (though you couldn't publicly defend it via debate). Once the basic needs and aspirations of Nigerians are met, we are ok. Folks, next time dont trust politicians.....no matter how convincing they sound. |
Is Sahara reporters part of APC media team? Hope they remember the ethics of their profession. |
Femi is right on point! Tinubu is highly expendable. The North did not vote for APC....they only voted for Buhari. It might explain the reason why other parties contesting for other position used Buhari's picture to boost their popularity. The total number of votes given to Buhari in South West was less than what Buhari got in Katsina and Kano. Let us watch events unfold. God bless Nigeria |
This is why I hate politics...... They only share/allocate just to compensate. What happens to competence? We don't need career politicians in our democracy. We only need career people who participate in politics. #Never again shall competence be sacrificed on the alter of nepotism# God bless Nigeria. |
One of the dangers of freedom of information.... People spread unconfirmed news just to achieve their objectives. Can we just discard all these results flying around until we hear from the umpire- INEC. You can tell us about your polling unit, with evidence. Lets be wise! God bless Nigeria. |
You people should keep GEJ out of this nonsense. The presidency proposed the use of military during election to prevent such from happening. However, our over-sabi people kicked against it. This is the result. Again, why was there no reported case of ballot box snatching during presidential election? This is simply a local fight among players for political seats. Before, it was GEJ vs GMB....now it is Abdulateef vs Abdulrazak. God help us! |
Why all these stupid propaganda? They gave a reason that the date has been given to PDP. At least they gave a reason..... We only need to confirm if PDP has actually booked that date. |
Mod, pls close this thread. It is a blatant lie ! This has been trashed out in other threads. People should stop fanning the embers of disunity and tribalism. Pls close this thread, sir! |
Alphaoscar:You people should stop this nonsense. Why are you trying to defend the indefensible? These are two different scenarios......a section of the igbo leaders in Lagos went to pay homage to a royal father....only for the royal father to threaten their existence. The Chris Ngige debacle is entirely different. He decided to embark on a political campaign the same day that the Onitsha indigens were celebrating their Igwe's ofala. Just like someone embarking on a political campaign when the oba of Lagos is celebrating eyo festival. The Obi of Onitsha did not threaten the electorates...he only frowned at the fact that Chris Ngige decided to do his campaign on the day of Grande finale of ofala celebration. Stop all these lies..... |
You people should stop this nonsense! Nobody has the right to tell me who to vote for. I pay tax of over 54k in Lagos every month and they also charge me for radio and television tax. I am a Nigerian and I have the right to vote the candidate of my choice. |
sorry sir! Nigerians will shock you. We need a vibrant opposition and we can't afford to give everything to the APC. We need some PDP states to put APC in check. God bless Nigeria. |
What impact did Oby Ezekwesili make when she was in power under OBJ? Yes the BBOG campaign showed some level of sincerity at the initial stage....all of a sudden it became a tool of distraction. No wahala...she has earned her shirt in GMB's cabinet...we will put her on the spot light and see how she will perform. Madam Oby, Nigerians are watching you in 3D. #Nigerians are watching Oby in 3D# |
sir, what records are u setting straight. May 29th is about 56days away and you are already defending Buhari. what does this statement mean : "I will ensure that the naira is equal to the dollar in value"? Tomorrow you will also come and tell us that he didn't say that he will stabilize the price of oil. In as much as we need to support and encourage our leaders, time has come for us to hold them accountable to their campaign promises. So don't come here and try to twist the obvious. After four years, we shall appraise his performance.....hopefully by then the exchange rate will be N1- $1 God bless Nigeria God bless our president-elect God bless his economic team. |
