I don't know the street you mentioned but the banks are along the road. You either take keke or take a bus going to either Ejigbo or Okota. The banks u just mentioned are on that major road.

Sir, I am not in support of sub-standard work. However,my concern is " why didn't the governor send his aides or commissioners to monitor the project while it was going on." Lets stop encouraging waton abuse of power...all in the name of proving nothing." Please note that they will spend money to pull down the structure and also spend more to erect a new one. Money that they would have channelled to meet other pressing needs in the state. Who is fooling who?

Complete waste of funds. Why didn't you send your commissioner for Education to inspect the renovation while the work was going on. Pulling down a project that gulped N100m .....all in a bid to show that they did sub standard job. Lets think wiser and act smarter. Oga governor, your decision is questionable...

It baffles me the way some of us reason. Those of U shouting tax tax tax....do you pay your tax?
The biz ones among us hardly pay company tax except when it is needed for embassy,bid for govt contract, bank loan etc. When last did you pay ur tenement rate or are you still a tenant in someone's house? Ask your landlord when last he paid tenement rate. We all have TVs and radios in our homes and offices.....when last did you pay TV and radio tax?

Why did Fashola unseal the house after public outcry....did OUK settle his tax obligation overnight?
I pay over 50k to LASG monthly as tax obligation...

Abeg leave politics.

This is one of the millions of reasons why we must not allow these PDP elements anywhere close to Alausa, this is another clear indication that under any PDP admin in Lagos state, jokers and deadbeats like this Kalu man are definitely not going to be paying their taxes or conform to any societal order.

How do you go to sleep at night knowing that other Lagosians are paying for all the services and infrastructures you are enjoying free of charge even with all your money and corrupt big man status?

This is one thing I hate about Lagos state and Fashola sometimes, I know he caved in and bent the law because of these ungrateful jackassess and their tribal and sentimental emotions, but he shouldn't have let this crook off the hook for 14 days? How many Lagosians get such privileges?

You can not keep bending over and getting blackmailed emotionally by these corrupt, lawless and backward village clowns.

You people can go any length to justify your inhuman actions. Before u continue this ur ranting pls answer these questions sincerely:
1. Why the disparity in the figure of the deportees; 67 or 14?
2. Why did they drop them at that ungodly hour- 3am?
3. Why under upper Iweka bridge?
4. Why did they go with armed escort- were they envisaging attack from the deportees or 'their' people?
5. How far is the government house from upper Iweka?

For ORJI UZO KALU, Is he the only one who has not paid his tenement rate or land use charge?
Who is fooling who?

NB: please note that Channels TV 'aired' an investigation on the saga yesterday and found out that names of some of the deportees are not on the list that LASG is presenting as an evidence of correspondence. EG, the lady that was granted interview- Chinyere Precious. Her name was not on the list.
Let's stop playing politics with everything.

I was so eager to start a small 'side' trade so I can pay my bills [electricity, rents etc] that has increased exponentially cos my firm said they won't increase salary just because cost of living is high.
Now am learning that the 'mercy loan' is actually my 'nightmare loan'.

I know with God, I'll try to pay as quickly as I can and put this mess behind me.
If I had know it would cost more problem to get a loan, then I would have eaten less and trekked more!

Sir,we appreciate ur effort in cracking this nut. However, don't just give answers that are not correct...especially in a public forum where someone is seeking professional advise.

Your loan of 2.75m @ 22% P.A for 48 months will run on a "reducing balance method" but most banks would want u to have a fixed monthly payment. Total monthly payment:principal and interest inclusive is about 86,641.71. At the end of the 4 year-tenure, you would have paid the bank 1,408,802.27 as interest and 2,750,000 as principal. My take on this is;don't use bank's loan to satisfy your endless desire for "good" things rather invest it in a venture that can comfortably repay the loan without touching ur monthly salary. Thank you

For God's sake we are a lot better than this....why are using every slightest opportunity to score cheap political points? "Unease lies the head that wears the crown".

President Jonathan is not a perfect man, he has his own flaws as an individual and as a president...all these problems we are seeing now took over 50yrs to accumulate...will they vanish in one night or 1yr?

Most of these people calling for the head of the president are not able to hold their homefronts together and ur small office is full of shady deals...back yard runs." He who is without sin should cast the first stone".

Let us not pick only the points that suit our myopic vies and throw out the rest. Mr President said clearly that when he became the president, he directed that the minister of finance should get an independent auditor to audit all the ministeries where the FGN was spending big. He mentioned NNPC,PTDF,ND etc. All these apparently commenced before the subsidy saga.

My opinion is that Yinka Odunmakin and co should fortify the ACN and CPC merger so as to present a very formidable opposition against PDP come 2015.

Mr President can do a lot better, yes we know...but we need to support him.
